<\/p>\nRUSH: In fact, let\u2019s grab this guy on Line 1. This is Mark in Indianapolis who wants to mildly disagree with just a small portion of that which I said in the opening monologue.<\/p>\n
Hi, Mark.\u00a0 Great to have you here with us today.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Hello, Rush! It is so rare that I partially disagree with part of your statement, and this is after decades of listening.\u00a0 But this “send her back,” just the part where you talked about… I thought it was about the crowd expressing anger, expressing frustration as part of the chants.\u00a0 And my take on it, sir, is it\u2019s just the opposite.\u00a0 Like you said, at these rallies, everybody\u2019s having fun.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been to one of them.\u00a0 I watch them when I can.\u00a0 Everybody\u2019s having a great time.\u00a0 Trump himself, he\u2019s having a great time.\u00a0 It shows.\u00a0 The chant was an expression of fun and affection, affection for our guy who\u2019s been under attack this week for tweets of forbidden words, so-called forbidden words.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 No, no.\u00a0 Wait a minute, now, Mark, old buddy, old pal.\u00a0 You don\u2019t think there\u2019s even a smidgen of anger in this when you say that they have an affection for our guy?\u00a0 I mean, there\u2019s gotta be some anger throw in here. People are fed up with this.\u00a0 It\u2019s been going on three years now.\u00a0 They have to be! I\u2019m not disputing your notion people are having a good time.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Except it\u2019s not anger, because, Rush — thanks to you, thanks to the president — we\u2019re winning!\u00a0 Our side is winning! (chuckles) I\u2019m not sick of it yet.\u00a0 But I\u2019m loving it every day.<\/p>\n
RUSH: (laughs)<\/p>\n
CALLER: And part of it is the media today. What a change.\u00a0 They say, “They are the forbidden words. No one\u2019s allowed to say them, or you are not a member of polite society,” and there\u2019s nothing wrong with the words.\u00a0 It\u2019s not, “Send a group back.”\u00a0 Of course not! It\u2019s send HER back.\u00a0 Her, an immigrant who\u2019s so blessed to be in this country and who hates us.\u00a0 The hate is all on their side.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Wait, wait, wait.\u00a0 You think the crowd actually does and did, in the spirit of humor and good times, want to send her back?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 In the spirit of humor and good times, they want to say the forbidden words.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Okay, is —<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Yeah.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 I lost you in the forbidden words.\u00a0 In my world, there are the seven forbidden words of George Carlin.<\/p>\n
CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n
RUSH: You\u2019re not talking about those, right?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 No.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Which words are you talking about here?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 This last week, they declared that Trump said forbidden words in a tweet.\u00a0 “They don\u2019t like it here? These congresswomen don\u2019t like it here?\u00a0 They can go back.\u00a0 They can fix their own countries. They can return here if they want.\u00a0 Good for them.”\u00a0 This was, oh, racism!\u00a0 That\u2019s the forbidden word.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 All right.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 That\u2019s (unintelligible).<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 So you\u2019re talking about Trump\u2019s tweets where he said “send them back”?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Exactly!\u00a0 The crowd is expressing affection. They\u2019re coming to the defense of our guy.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 I don\u2019t —<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 We don\u2019t say this out loud.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 I don\u2019t doubt that.\u00a0 I don\u2019t doubt that they love the guy.\u00a0 That, to me, is unquestioning.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have any doubt about that at all.\u00a0 But I do think that there\u2019s anger and frustration.\u00a0 And, by the way, you said, “We\u2019re winning!\u00a0 There\u2019s no question we\u2019re winning.”\u00a0 I run into a lot of people that don\u2019t think so, and they define it by who sets the tone of news coverage every day: The media.\u00a0 They look at the news and they don\u2019t see any evidence of winning other than Trump being elected.<\/p>\n
And they see the economic numbers.\u00a0 But they see every Trump policy thwarted by a liberal judge.\u00a0 They see the travel ban thwarted.\u00a0 They see every effort to build the wall thwarted.\u00a0 They see an Obama judge for every issue is found somewhere popping up, stopping something.\u00a0 They\u2019re frustrated as they can be with it — and then they have to, on top of that, listen to these people who hate America preach to \u2019em about what racist pigs they are.<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 And definitely, Rush, that\u2019s the media.\u00a0 But Trump starts every one of these rallies listing a dozen ways that we\u2019re winning.\u00a0 It\u2019s just like Trump himself, the way you said it.\u00a0 Don\u2019t take Trump\u2019s words.\u00a0 Don\u2019t take the chant\u2019s words literally but take them seriously.\u00a0 It\u2019s a real expression about this hateful congresswoman.<\/p>\n
RUSH:\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 Let me ask you this: Your attitude on the upcoming 2020 election. Do you think Trump could lose this, or is it pretty much in the bag already that he\u2019s gonna win it?<\/p>\n
CALLER:\u00a0 Anything\u2019s possible.\u00a0 You know that.\u00a0 But I love his chances.\u00a0 I love \u2019em.\u00a0 I was an enthusiastic voter for him, of course, in 2016 but recognized, “Hey, he\u2019s a bit of an unknown.\u00a0 This is new ground, somebody who\u2019s never been a politician before.” He\u2019s proven himself 20 different ways from Sunday.\u00a0 It\u2019s gone from, “He\u2019s so much better then Hillary; of course, you have to vote for him,” to, “What a treat to be able to vote for this man again.”\u00a0 I can\u2019t say enough about what a hero we\u2019ve got for president.\u00a0 Yeah, he\u2019s just the person we need — I can only say — sent by divine providence at just the time we need it.<\/p>\n
