RUSH: The word ‘bipartisan.\u2019 Everybody bandies that word around, and I\u2019ve always said that ‘bipartisanship\u2019 is defined in Washington as Republicans caving on their principles and agreeing with Democrats. The vote on the porkulus bill last night was a partisan vote. The victorious side was all Democrats. The bipartisan vote was the losing side. Eleven Democrats joined all the Republicans, 177 of them. Now, Nancy Pelosi, according to The Hill newspaper today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she didn\u2019t come to Washington to be bipartisan. One day after shuttling through the porkulus bill without a single Republican vote, Nancy Pelosi said, ‘I didn\u2019t come here to be partisan. I didn\u2019t come here to be bipartisan. I came here, as did my colleagues, to be nonpartisan, to work for the American people, to do what is in their interests.\u2019<\/p>\n

This woman, folks… I\u2019m as conflicted about Pelosi as I am sometimes about Obama. This is a Miss America, and what…? No. No, no, no. This is not a Miss America answer. You know, Miss America answers are basically. ‘Well, hee-hee,\u2019 and try to cover both sides. Miss America answers are… I\u2019ll back off from what I was saying. Those are young women. They\u2019re… (sighs) They\u2019re not all that educated and informed yet when they start answering these questions. We\u2019re talking here about a mother of five, a grandmother of who knows how many. This woman has been around. This is an attempt to deceive. It is morally wrong for her to say she\u2019s not partisan! She and Harry Reid are among the most partisan people in that town. <\/p>\n

This is deceit. She\u2019s attempting to say that her liberalism is how we define nonpartisan now. ‘I didn\u2019t come here to be bipartisan. I didn\u2019t come here to be partisan. I came here to be nonpartisan,\u2019 and she will not and did not — and this is, by the way, a blessing. She did not let one Republican have one word of input on the porkulus bill! Now, that\u2019s good, but that\u2019s nonpartisan? This is just a deceitful woman. This is a woman who lives it, who practices it, and who gets away with it. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s Pelosi, by the way, audio sound bite number 24. This is where Pelosi says she didn\u2019t go to Washington to be bipartisan.<\/p>\n

PELOSI: We didn\u2019t come here to be — I didn\u2019t come here to be partisan. I didn\u2019t come here to be bipartisan. I came here as did my colleagues, to be nonpartisan, to work for the American people, to do what is in their interests. I take credit for the great action taken by the Congress one week and one day since the president called for bold and swift action.<\/p>\n

REPORTER: Your principle opponents were not John Boehner or Eric Cantor. They were Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge.<\/p>\n

PELOSI: I don\u2019t speak to that. I\u2019m the speaker of the House! I don\u2019t get into that pop culture.<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘I don\u2019t get into that. I don\u2019t get into the pop culture. I\u2019m not interested in that.\u2019 That\u2019s Nancy Pelosi today on Capitol Hill. ‘I\u2019m not partisan. I didn\u2019t come here to be partisan or bipartisan. I came here to be nonpartisan.\u2019 She is the most… This is the seat. She is the most partisan next to Harry Reid person in Washington. There\u2019s a website out there called WOW: ‘Women on the Web,\u2019 and it\u2019s a bunch of old clucking hens that get around and basically bitch and whine, and they put this little story out: ‘House Passes $819 Billion Stimulus, But No Help for Potential Mothers — Economic health may be on the way, but not for everybody, including poor women who can\u2019t afford to have a baby in this horrible economy. Women\u2019s groups are reeling over the news that family planning,\u2019 and so forth, the money for abortions, ‘was taken out of the stimulus package after Rush Limbaugh and others blasted its inclusion. Planned Parenthood yesterday urged people to call the White House directly to voice support for the Medicaid…\u2019 <\/p>\n

Now, what\u2019s wrong with this? This is why I called \u2019em a bunch of clucking hens. Nancy Pelosi just got through telling you babes not to have any kids! Nancy Pelosi just said that abortion is part of the stimulus because it is going to save money down the road. No help for potential mothers. Nancy Pelosi doesn\u2019t want mothers!
