RUSH: Mohammed in St. Paul, Minnesota, welcome to Open Line Friday, sir. Glad you\u2019re with us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, Mr. Limbaugh. I just want to say thank you so much for you worrying about us Muslims all of a sudden.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, somebody has to, and apparently the administration here has just been on a wanton killing spree in Pakistan. Ten Pakistanis are dead now after the Washington Post said that Obama declared the war on terror over.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. It\u2019s terrible. I just love how you\u2019re worried about us all of a sudden.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I appreciate that. Look, we were told something other than this during the campaign. We were told that the Muslim world was going to love us, and we were told that was one of the problems, the reason that Islamists around the world didn\u2019t like us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: We do love you though! I love you! We love America. We think you\u2019re the best.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know you do, but not all of them do. I\u2019m talking about the ones that don\u2019t. We were told that the reason they don\u2019t is because we\u2019re responsible for making them not like us or hate us, either by virtue of our support for Israel or we\u2019re attacking them wherever they are. This was all going to stop. You know, there weren\u2019t going to be any anti-American protests. I haven\u2019t seen any video of it, Mohammed, but there are still shots from Pakistan that I\u2019ve seen on news wires. There are many angry Muslims in Pakistan, protesting, burning things in effigy and so forth. It\u2019s not a pretty site out there.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. I wish you were here telling the world how you liked it when Bush was doing that to us, you know? I don\u2019t know why all of a sudden you just doing it now, but I wish you were there for us when Bush was killing us, too. I appreciate you, though. I listen to you. I listen. Obama has changed your mind, so that\u2019s something positive.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, look, Mohammed, it\u2019s great to have your call out there. I appreciate your sentiment, and Obama does miracles with people\u2019s minds.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And occasionally mine, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: On my TV I saw him walk across the pool. Did that happen on your TV? Or you probably weren\u2019t watching it, though.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I didn\u2019t see him walk across the pool. I\u2019ve seen him emerge from a cesspool in Chicago untouched —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: — but I\u2019ve not seen the picture that you\u2019re talking about. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, we were running up against time on a commercial break talking to Mohammed from St. Paul. Now, Mohammed, I realize you were being sarcastic with me. It\u2019s very rare that a caller can put one over on the host, especially one as highly trained in the specialty of broadcasting as I. I know what you\u2019re saying, you think all of a sudden now I\u2019m concerned about Muslims when I didn\u2019t care about Muslims before. You miss the point. I have always thought that those Muslims who are our enemies should be dealt with. It was Obama during the campaign who made it clear that he was going to go about this a different way, that it was our fault that they hated us. So here is another moment of hypocrisy. After a campaign full of ‘the world is going to love us,\u2019 with on day three we wipe out ten Pakistanis in the Obama war on terror, I may be beating my head against a wall with people, but I\u2019m going to do the job the Drive-By Media used to do, because I am America\u2019s Real Anchorman. And, Mohammed, we will see how many Muslims Obama liberates while he is president. I think George W. Bush can claim to liberating a whole bunch of Muslims. And while he\u2019s hated for it, we\u2019ll just wait and see how many Muslims Obama liberates in the name of freedom and in the name of democracy, as did George W. Bush. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Steve Gilbert, Sweetness-Light.com, the blogger, sends me something about this whole business of ten people dead in Pakistan. And, of course, we had the call from Mohammed in St. Paul, Minnesota, who was very appreciative of my apparent concern for Muslims. I just want to go back and remind you of something. This is from August 14th of 2007 in Hanover, New Hampshire. ‘Presidential hopeful Barack Obama was warned by a friendly voter Monday to avoid public spats with his Democratic rivals — but remarks he made later could add fuel to the criticism against him. … Asked whether he would move US troops out of Iraq to better fight terrorism elsewhere, he brought up Afghanistan and said, ‘We\u2019ve got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we\u2019re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there.” <\/p>\n

So I hope, ladies and gentlemen, none of these Pakistanis were civilians because Obama accused our military of doing that in Iraq and Afghanistan back in August of 2007.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
