CALLER: Yeah, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, mega dittos, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, Bo wanted me to talk about the speech? And provide my feelings on the speech?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, yeah, that\u2019s why we took your call.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. I found it very boring. You know, I wasn\u2019t following what he was saying, you know, and everything. And I found myself a couple of times actually drifting off and not paying attention, it was so boring. Also, did you notice at the beginning, maybe I was hearing things, but at the beginning, was the crowd saying, ‘Obama! Obama! Obama!\u2019 Did they do that little chant thing when he stepped up to the microphone?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Before he got to the microphone they were. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know. Yeah, when he was introduced and walking down the stairs before he took the ‘oaf.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s when I think I heard the ‘Obama.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That crowd… I guarantee that crowd was not satisfied. Now, you\u2019re not going to hear any of this elsewhere in the Drive-By Media because the Drive-Bys today are about pictures. And so you\u2019re going to see picks swarm on the mall. You\u2019re going to see a picture. It\u2019s going to look like it was historical. It\u2019s the best thing that\u2019s ever happened to the country, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. (sigh) I got time for one more before the break. Chico, California. Cheryl, I have one minute. Make it count.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good morning, Rush. Thank you for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, ma\u2019am.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was calling today to tell you I am in deep mourning over the death of democracy. And the reason I say that is, in following history, I\u2019ve noticed that when times appear tough financially, people tend to follow blindly someone that speaks well. They\u2019re like sheep. They don\u2019t listen to the substance, but they listen to anyone that promises them to make their life better.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And what\u2019s happening with Obama and his supporters is that they\u2019re killing incentives. What\u2019s the incentive to work and grow? There is none.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I couldn\u2019t agree more. However, this is not the death of democracy. I am the Doctor of Democracy. I will pronounce death. Don\u2019t panic. I will let you know when it\u2019s time for that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
