RUSH: California\u2019s high-speed train project is in shambles.<\/p>\n
A lot of farmers were hurt by this boondoggle. They owned prime property in California\u2019s \u201cbreadbasket,\u201d which feeds millions of us. The state grabbed their land (using Eminent Domain) and promised to pay market value.<\/p>\n
But farmers didn\u2019t get one cent — and worse, they had to pay for the enormous damage the contractors did to their property.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Times says California authorities returned to these farmers hundreds of times to get more land than they originally took. That\u2019s because they issued construction contracts before the design was finished, so they had no idea how much land they were gonna need. They made it up as they went along!<\/p>\n
Not only were farmers stiffed, it turns out that the \u201chigh-speed train\u201d Obama and Jerry Brown promised won\u2019t even be high-speed (chuckles) if it\u2019s ever even finished. It\u2019s already billions in the red. It will never attract enough riders to be profitable.<\/p>\n
So you have all this misery for the global warming hoax! That\u2019s why they did this. Obama and Gov. Brown and all the liberal Democrats responsible for this high-speed swindle are nowhere in sight to answer for it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
