CALLER: Rush, how you doing? <\/p>\n

RUSH: Great. Thanks. Couldn\u2019t be better.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you for taking my call. All right. You know, I used to get real upset, you know, when I listened to you, you know? But really not much anymore now. I just wanted to say that, uhhh — that I\u2019m — I\u2019m definitely happy with the turnout of the election. But, you know, all the stuff that you say, you know, clearly basically say is one thing: that you are extremely disgusted that the President has brown skin.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, why in the world…? How in the world do you accuse me of saying that? You know for a fact that is not true.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I did not say. Rush? Rush, hold it. Rush —<\/p>\n

RUSH: That has nothing to do with anything. <\/p>\n

CALLER: I did not say that you said you were disgusted. I mean, the things that you\u2019re saying. I mean you don\u2019t have to directly say it, but all of these accusations. You are just completely railed, uh… You\u2019ve given the man all kinds of bad lip, and he hasn\u2019t even been inaugurated yet. It\u2019s like you\u2019re trying to taint this complete historical thing that\u2019s going on here with a whole lot of, ‘Well, if he talked to this person or if his administration.\u2019 It\u2019s a lot of ifs and ‘Well, probably.\u2019 Nothing has really been proven.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, Robert, I think you\u2019re misreading here. You may be calling the wrong show. We\u2019re doing nothing but having a lot of fun here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And that\u2019s another thing!<\/p>\n

RUSH: What\u2019s going on? Yeah, I do find a lot of humor here, but, Robert. Please, grow up.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush? Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s 2008. It has nothing to do with the color of The Messiah\u2019s skin.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, it absolutely does.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It does not!<\/p>\n

CALLER: I want to ask you another thing. Rush? Rush? I used to say to myself and people I knew, I\u2019d said, ‘Well, Rush\u2019s show going to turn into a comedy show after the election.\u2019 ‘Cause after the election, I mean you didn\u2019t play around with these little ridiculous kind of joking things.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You were pretty much — you were pretty much on the issues, you tried and tried and tried everything to get McCain to win. Now, you don\u2019t care about McCain whatsoever. I know that you don\u2019t. It\u2019s just that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know what I find, Robert?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — I mean, you wouldn\u2019t have cared if it were Pee-Wee Herman.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m listening to every syllable you\u2019re uttering; and between the two of us, the one who sounds mad is you. You sound mad as hell here. And you\u2019re accusing me of saying things and doing things I haven\u2019t said or done. I\u2019m having a great old time. I\u2019m jocular as I can be. You make me out to be some kind of sore loser. You\u2019re a sore winner. I haven\u2019t heard the last time a sore loser spends so much time laughing as I\u2019ve been laughing. I\u2019m loving this. You know, this country gets what it deserves. Elections matter. They have consequences. And hang on, Robert, \u2019cause the ride that you are headed for is going to be a giant stunner to you, regardless of the color of skin of anybody that\u2019s serving in Washington. I\u2019m glad you called and gave me a chance here to talk to you. In fact, there\u2019s a lot of anger on the left. These people that are mad at Obama for Rick Warren? The left is perpetually enraged. They can\u2019t get up and live without being mad — and Robert, you sound like you\u2019re almost ready for a straitjacket out there you\u2019re so mad, and you\u2019re mad at me. And I can\u2019t raise your taxes. And I can\u2019t send you off to war. And I can\u2019t do things economically that are going to force your company to fire you. You\u2019re mad at the wrong guy. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, my God, Rush. Rush! Rush! (laughing) How are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Same to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And this is ‘Sleepless in Houston.\u2019 You get e-mails from me all the time. Anyway, I just… It is so hilarious, the reason I called is about the guy that called and accused you of running down Obama because of his color?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, he accused me of being a sore loser, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, a sore loser, but you know that old Shakespeare\u2019s quote? It says, ‘Bad men have no ears\u2019? These guys, they\u2019re so in denial about this guy that\u2019s what\u2019s making \u2019em so mad. I mean, they are just — they are so — it\u2019s just — but the way you put —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. How does being in denial about Obama make them mad?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it makes them mad because the truth is starting to come out about him, and they can\u2019t… You know, they can\u2019t handle the truth. They knew it was there. They knew it was there, and they denied it. They\u2019re like the Republicans, or the conservatives are now. We won\u2019t listen to the news now, but they listened to it before, and they weren\u2019t getting the information they needed so they were in just complete denial. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, who\u2019s mad at him right now? Why would the guy from Detroit, Robert, be mad at him? He thinks I\u2019m mad at him? What do you think Robert in Detroit has realized that he didn\u2019t know?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, he\u2019s realized that Obama is a Chicago thug, just like Bill Clinton called him.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t think he\u2019s figured it out. I don\u2019t think Robert\u2019s figured this out yet. Now, some Obama voters, some leftist extremists are worried — and I keep trying to tell \u2019em not to be. They\u2019re gonna get everything they want and more.
