CALLER: I have some ideas. I have some ideas on the Democratic nominee, and I really believe that the Trump administration needs to take Joe Biden very, very seriously. I believe the Democrats will do everything they can to make Joe Biden their nominee, because they can control him. If he becomes president —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Wait, wait. Whoa, whoa.<\/p>\n
CALLER: (crosstalk)<\/p>\n
RUSH: Who…?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes?<\/p>\n
RUSH: Wait, wait, wait a minute. When I hear things like this, you inspire questions. Who is gonna control Biden? Who is it that wants Biden to be the nominee because they can control him? Who is this?<\/p>\n
CALLER: The Democratic Party, the Democratic committee.<\/p>\n
RUSH: What…?<\/p>\n
CALLER: They are the ones who will be able to control Joe Biden. Joe Biden is part of the establishment! He is the epitome of establishment, and he\u2019s also had no original ideas. They\u2019ll be able to just come up with a policy decisions, hand him a script, and send him out on the stump — and they\u2019ll work in the background and they\u2019ll control everything.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. So the powers that be, the invisible hand —<\/p>\n
CALLER: (chuckling)<\/p>\n
RUSH: — in the Democrat Party overseeing all of this —<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n
RUSH: — secretly want Biden because they know that he\u2019s a nothing burger when it comes to initiative, and they will be able to control him?<\/p>\n
CALLER: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You\u2019re saying this primary is rigged as well? You said “take him seriously,” because…?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think they\u2019re gonna try and rig it. Everything is being… They\u2019re gonna do everything they can to control the outcome so that Joe Biden is the nominee.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Where does beating Trump figure into their calculations? They think they can beat Trump or are just assuming Biden\u2019s gonna win because they want to be able to control him after that happens?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think that\u2019s exactly what it is. I think everything that they\u2019ve got, they\u2019ll put behind Biden. He\u2019s their man. Do you think the Democratic Party wants Bernie? I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, Democratic Party is… We know that Hillary didn\u2019t want Bernie, and so the Democrat National Committee was Hillary. It was Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n
RUSH: So whatever Hillary wanted, happened.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n
RUSH: But if Hillary… Is Hillary party your group of Democrats determining who\u2019s gonna be the nominee? Is she in the group, or not?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, it depends on how much of a voice she has. I mean, she\u2019s still around. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s a powerful voice, anymore, but she\u2019s still around.<\/p>\n
RUSH: She\u2019s still got a voice, and it\u2019s as shrill as ever!<\/p>\n
CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n
RUSH: What do you mean, “if she\u2019s still got a voice”? She\u2019s out there; she\u2019s actively involved. She is even trying to give off signals that she may run again, and do you notice that Bite Me has lost seven points here in the last week or two weeks or so? He\u2019s down… It\u2019s very quiet, by the way, about that. Remember, these are people live and die by the polls. Bite Me, when he announced, raced out to this massive, shocking lead over Crazy Bernie. And then it was said Crazy Bernie was, you know, having a nervous reaction.<\/p>\n
This wasn\u2019t supposed to happen. Biden wasn\u2019t supposed to mount anything. Biden\u2019s yesterday\u2019s news, Biden\u2019s a has-been, and here he is leading. So this got the left all worried that the Democratic Party is actually still a bunch of boring, moderate centrists and not radical leftists. So who do you think is running the Democrat Party today, a bunch of moderate centrists or the radical left? That\u2019s the question that we have to ask, if your theory is applicable here. I don\u2019t think we\u2019re anywhere near knowing who the Democrat nominee is gonna be.<\/p>\n
And as much as they want to try to rig this, the only way they\u2019re really gonna be able to do that is… There\u2019s a number ways they can. A bunch of people who aren\u2019t gonna win who are still gonna amass some kind of support. So you could try to make deals with them to endorse somebody. But actually rigging this? You\u2019d have to do that at the delegate level again, and you\u2019d have to do it somehow with existing rules. Like, do you know who\u2019s all of a sudden starting to make moves? There are two people on the Democrat side that, all of a sudden, and one of them is coming out of nowhere.<\/p>\n

Mayor Pete is continuing to say provocative, perfectly acceptable, classical, radical left-wing stuff — and then, out of nowhere in the past week, is Fauxcahontas. Fauxcahontas, in the polling data, is all of a sudden starting to show signs of life where heretofore it was assumed that she had assumed campaign political room temperature. This thing is nowhere near over, and I know that there are people who would love to fix it, would love to arrange it. Anybody in charge of things would like to be able to do that. But this one\u2019s gonna be a little tough, precisely because it did happen in 2016 — and still, a lot of Democrat noses are out of joint over that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
