RUSH: Speaking of Hillary Clinton, folks, we had this piece yesterday from the Federalist by Mr. H. A. Goodman<\/a>, and it was one of those pieces that you read it, and you say, “Yeah, yeah.” You know it all, but you get kind of frustrated that you didn\u2019t think of it all yourself. His point basically was (without rehashing the whole thing) that every bit of everything we know or think we know — every news item, every little bit of information that fed this narrative the past two years or three now, that Trump colluded with Russia — came not from American intelligence, not from British intelligence. It didn\u2019t come from FBI intelligence.<\/p>\n

\"\"It came from the Hillary Clinton campaign.<\/p>\n

Every bit of it, because 95% of it was the Steele dossier, which she commissioned and paid for. She arranged it. She and her campaign paid a bunch of people who then arranged for the Papadopoulos story to happen. But it was all Hillary Clinton\u2019s stuff. We sit here and we focus on Comey, properly. We focus on McCabe and Clapper and Brennan and maybe even Obama\/Susan Rice. But because of that piece by Mr. Goodman yesterday, it refocused me on this. I actually believe — and I\u2019m kind of slapping myself upside the head for not putting this together sooner, and maybe some of you out there did.<\/p>\n

I actually think that the architect of all of this is Hillary Clinton, that Hillary Clinton is responsible for this coup — and then people like Comey and others in the Obama administration… It\u2019s hard to separate Obama and Hillary. But this was a Hillary bought-and-paid-for, led-by operation. And it incorporated the Obama DOJ. But they were all doing what they were doing for her! The first thing they had to do was exonerate her from doing something illegal with her email server and trafficking in classified data and then the Uranium One thing.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the first thing they had to do, and it\u2019s exactly what Comey did on July 5th, 2016. He exonerated Hillary Clinton. That\u2019s the first thing they had to do. After that, the project became, “Make sure Trump doesn\u2019t win, make sure Hillary does.” And when that didn\u2019t happen, it was focus efforts on somehow getting rid of Trump. But the point is that all of this… Some of you might say, “No, Rush! It\u2019s Obama.” Yeah, I think Obama\u2019s… You can\u2019t take him out of this because all of this happened while he was president.<\/p>\n

And all these institutions — FBI, CIA, and all that — were run by people he\u2019d appointed. I understand that, but this was a Hillary Clinton inspired, motivated, bought-and-paid for operation, everywhere you look in this thing. McCabe\u2019s wife got money from the Clintons and her campaign in Virginia. Steele paid for by the Clintons. Weissmann (Mueller\u2019s guy) was on stage with Hillary during her concession speech and was a big donor. Alexander Downer, the Australian ambassador that supposedly nails Papadopoulos? These people are all part of the Clinton Foundation or the Clinton campaign.<\/p>\n

I think the focus really needs to be on her.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m gonna get back to my Hillary Clinton theory. And it\u2019s not that big a deal, folks, but it does, I think, require some exploration. The reason why is there\u2019s another John Solomon column today basically focusing on Hillary Clinton as the origin point for all of this. And a lot of people have believed during this time that Hillary Clinton was minding her own business over here trying to run for the presidency, that she did a bad job of it, lost, had sour grapes, was basically a bystander watching all this stuff go down with all these other people trying to get Trump.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not who Hillary Clinton is. We know who she is. We know who she\u2019s always been, and this is exactly the kind of operation Hillary Clinton always mounted when her husband was in the White House. She was always a humongous left-wing activist. In fact, when Bill Clinton was in the White House they played the roles.<\/p>\n

Bill Clinton played the moderate, middle of the road guy \u2019cause he had to get the votes. He had to get the votes from both sides. But she was the ideologue. She was the radical activist. She always has been. You add that her nose was way out of joint because she lost and she\u2019s got sour grapes.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s funny because there\u2019s a story out, Hillary Clinton calls Bernie Sanders a sore loser, says he\u2019s gonna burn the place down because he lost. If this isn\u2019t the pot calling the kettle black, I don\u2019t know what it is. Talk about a sore loser and somebody who can\u2019t get over it.<\/p>\n

\"\"She thought she had the presidential election wired just like she thought she knew… Well she did have the Democrat primaries rigged. And I\u2019m convinced that they thought that they had the presidential election rigged. And they\u2019re still bent out of shape.<\/p>\n

That really is probably what this is. They knew they had it rigged. They knew they had it set up. All that had to happen was the election had to take place. It was a guaranteed, automatic Hillary win because they didn\u2019t take Trump, seriously. They thought there\u2019s no way this guy can win.<\/p>\n

She didn\u2019t even go to Wisconsin or Ohio or any of the states because it was just Trump, he had no hope, and she believed all their polls that showed her winning in a landslide. You talk about sour grapes and sore loser, this nation is paying the price for the most cheated-on woman in America being in a perpetual state of PMS or however you want to describe it.<\/p>\n

Yesterday Hillary Clinton criticized Bernie Sanders, saying that her primary opponent in 2016 would rather go scorched-earth than graciously lose a race. In a recent off-the-record conversation with Cindy Adams of the New York Post, Clinton sounded off on the sprawling field of Democrat candidates.<\/p>\n

And according to Cindy Adams, Hillary Clinton had no good words for Crazy Bernie writing that she believes that anybody overtaking him in a district considered his, he\u2019s gonna burn the place down. Burn the place down? It\u2019s exactly her modus operandi. And the John Solomon piece today is gonna put, you know, the dot on the \u201cI\u201d and we\u2019re gonna cross the T on this.<\/p>\n

Look, it\u2019s not gonna change anything. It\u2019s not the point here. It makes it all the more understandable. And I am, for what little it\u2019s worth, I am kind of ticked at myself for not seeing her as a prime mover in this. I know she\u2019s been involved, but that she is the originator. I mean, everybody involved in this has a tight relationship with her or her foundation or her husband, donors, board members, you name it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, I want to go back to one of our original points, discussion items in the first hour of the program, and that\u2019s Hillary Clinton. By the way, after the program today I\u2019m gonna be interviewing Devin Nunes for the next issue of The Limbaugh Letter.<\/a><\/p>\n

And I want to run this new theory of mine by him that, yeah, McCabe and Comey and Clapper and Brennan, all these Obama people, I really do believe now that where we really need to look to find out everything that we want to know about this is right smack dab at Hillary Clinton. Everybody in this sordid tale is linked and tied back to Hillary Clinton, including Mueller\u2019s lead negotiator, lead investigator.<\/p>\n

Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier, which is all any of them ever had to get this counterintelligence investigation off the ground and so-called running, and it wasn\u2019t even ever really an investigation. Now, John Solomon is out with another piece. He\u2019s been doing great work, particularly the past two, three weeks. But I don\u2019t want to just say that. He\u2019s been doing great work for years.<\/p>\n

\"\"His latest piece: \u201cHillary Clinton\u2019s Russia Collusion IOU: The Answers She Owes America<\/a> — During the combined two decades she served as a U.S. senator and secretary of State, Hillary Clinton\u2019s patrons regularly donated to her family charity when they had official business pending before,\u201d her. Amen, bro. Clinton Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative. If you had any business with Hillary, you had to pony up.<\/p>\n

You had to put money into the foundation, which basically was just a ruse for them to pay themselves and pay other people that mattered to them salaries and bonuses and travel expenses and all that. You had to pay up. And then when Hillary was running for president and you wanted her favors as president, if you\u2019re a foreign leader or a foreign individual, you had to pay up then. And so plenty of people were donating to Hillary\u2019s charities in advance of her becoming president.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pattern of political IOUs paid to the Clinton Foundation was so pernicious that the State Department even tried to execute a special agreement with the charity to avoid the overt appearance of \u2018pay-to-play\u2019 policy. Still, the money continued to flow by the millions of dollars, from foreigners and Americans alike who were perceived to be indebted to the Clinton machine or in need of its help.\u201d And Solomon says, \u201cIt\u2019s time for the American public to call in their own IOU on political transparency.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason? Never before \u2014 until 2016 \u2014 had the apparatus of a U.S. presidential candidate managed to sic the weight of the FBI and U.S. intelligence community on a rival nominee during an election,\u201d never before. Not until 2016 had one presidential candidate been able to employ the FBI, the CIA, the DIA, the NSA, MI5, MI6 on a rival campaign, i.e., Trump. And by using a foreign-fed, uncorroborated political opposition research document. That would be the Steele dossier.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut Clinton\u2019s campaign, in concert with the Democratic Party and through their shared law firm, funded Christopher Steele\u2019s unverified dossier which, it turns out, falsely portrayed Republican Donald Trump as a treasonous asset colluding with Russian President Vladimir Putin to hijack the U.S. election.<\/p>\n

\u201cSteele went to the FBI to get an investigation started and then leaked the existence of the investigation, with the hope of sinking Trump\u2019s presidential aspirations. On its face, it is arguably the most devious political dirty trick in American history and one of the most overt intrusions of a foreigner into a U.S. election.\u201d<\/p>\n

Screw Russia. How about Steele? You want to talk about foreign intervention in an election, Solomon\u2019s right. Christopher Steele, a British spy who went out and was fed phony items of intelligence by Russian spies that were friends of his, and that\u2019s what made up the Steele dossier.<\/p>\n

\"\"Trump didn\u2019t do any of the collusion. Hillary did, with Steele. The foreign collusion was Hillary and Steele using Russians. Solomon calls it the most devious political dirty trick in American history. \u201cIt appears the Clinton machine knew that what it was doing was controversial. That\u2019s why it did backflips to disguise the operation from Congress and the public, and in its Federal Election Commission (FEC) spending reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cClinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) used the law firm of Perkins Coie to hire Glenn Simpson\u2019s research firm, Fusion GPS, which then hired Steele \u2014 several layers that obfuscated transparency, kept the operation off the campaign\u2019s public FEC reports and gave the Clintons plausible deniability.\u201d<\/p>\n

None of this, none of this money shows up as any kind of a campaign contribution or expense on the part of the Clinton campaign, and yet that\u2019s exactly what it was. And never forget that the real first step in all of this, the thing that had to happen before any assault on Trump, Hillary Clinton had to be exonerated.<\/p>\n

You may think, \u201cOf course, Rush, that\u2019s obvious.\u201d It isn\u2019t obvious to a lot of people. A lot of people think this thing all started because somebody really thought Trump was colluding. And that\u2019s not what happened. Trump was never colluding, and there was never any evidence for it, but Hillary Clinton was in heap big doo-doo. She had violated the law numerous times for which other people are currently in jail for doing what she did.<\/p>\n

She had to be, as the Democrat nominee, exonerated. And the process that was used to exonerate her had to be covered up. That cover-up failed because we know what all went into exonerating Hillary Clinton. And then after she was exonerated, July 5th, 2016, when Comey proclaimed her unprosecutable because there wasn\u2019t any intent, she\u2019s off the hook, then they\u2019re able to turn fire on Trump. Even though they had been collecting data long before that.<\/p>\n

But it just refocuses the point that all of this really did start \u2013 look, I\u2019m not trying to give Obama a pass because he and Hillary are linked here, but everybody of substance that was involved in this has a direct connection to Hillary Clinton and her campaign or her job as secretary of state. Not the intelligence community. There wasn\u2019t any intel that was produced that indicated there was collusion. There wasn\u2019t any intel.<\/p>\n

\"\"The CIA didn\u2019t find anything. The FBI didn\u2019t find anything. The only thing anybody ever had was what Hillary Clinton gave them. And every one of these people, apparently an uber-loyalist to Hillary Clinton, then took that ball, the dossier, and ran as far as it would take them. And they are still running with it, as the Mueller report indicates, Solomon says there is a lot of essential questions that Hillary has to answer. What she knew and when she knew it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Mega dittos from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I know you\u2019d mentioned how Hillary\u2019s kind of vindictive. I was wondering. You know, the Clintons have a history of people not surviving their wrath. Is there any connection with perhaps the USB…? Let me rephrase this. I\u2019m a little nervous. The staffer, the DNC staffer that was found shot that they believe that maybe he leaked something to WikiLeaks, he\u2019s being perhaps a USB flash drive — and I know you said that the hack of Hillary\u2019s email server had to be done probably not via internet by perhaps via flash drive. Do you think there\u2019s a connection there?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I don\u2019t think so. There\u2019s not enough data. This is… I forget this guy\u2019s name that was a huge controver… (interruption) Seth Rich? Yeah, Seth Rich. Seth Rich was a DNC staffer and he was murdered, and there was a story surrounding him that he was the leaker, that he actually leaked the stuff because he didn\u2019t like the fact that things were rigged against Crazy Bernie; so he sent the stuff to WikiLeaks. Seth Rich\u2019s family has begged people to stop with this story that he was assassinated because of this.<\/p>\n

It was just a standing mugging gone bad. That\u2019s what the family says. The one thing about this is (and I\u2019ve mentioned this) the transfer speeds. They have a record of the data leaving the Democrat server — I mean, that\u2019s part of that\u2019s still there — and the speeds with which data was transferred could not have happened with your average, ordinary internet connection. They happened at speeds like you get when you transfer data on a trust me drive. But no. I don\u2019t want to open that can of worms.
