RUSH: The insanity continues to pile up. The unbelievable, disbelievable continues to pile up. Bleacher Report, which is a sports magazine\/sports website, is reporting, “Multiple NBA teams…” For those of you in Rio Linda, that\u2019d be the National Basketball Association. “Multiple NBA teams have had ‘high-level conversations\u2019 about getting rid of the term ‘owner\u2019 because it\u2019s racially insensitive.” TMZ Sports is the source of this<\/a>. You see, most of the players in the NBA (most, not all) are African-American, and they are making multiple millions of dollars a year..\"\"<\/a>And yet they apparently are feeling oppressed and nervous when the people that own the teams for which they play, the people that pay them, when they are called “owners” it conjures up all of the fearful memories of the days of slavery that all of these players have escaped from. Except, wait! Not one of them have ever been slaves. But I guess this is the latest attempt by the left to enforce the notion that America still is a slave state, that nothing has really changed about America. That America is, thus, unjust, illegitimate, and unqualified as a worldwide superpower.<\/p>\n

The concept of American greatness and exceptionalism? No! We can\u2019t have that, because we\u2019re in the process of tearing down the United States, and we\u2019re gonna rebuild it into some great socialist utopia which will have none of these evils that we were founded with. Now, I\u2019ve had people tell me over the recent past that when I have gone off on this riff that what the left really wants to do is not reform the country, because they don\u2019t think it can be.<\/p>\n

I mean, once the original sin of slavery is there, you can fix it; you can eliminate it. You can do that. (impression) “But you cannot eliminate it, because it was always there and it\u2019s always going to identify who this country is because that\u2019s who we were. And so we\u2019ve got to tear down the concepts of the principles of the American founding.” Every time I get into this, I have some people — not everybody but I have a lot of people — say, “Wow. You know, you\u2019re really going over the edge on this.”<\/p>\n

I say, “No, I\u2019m not. Don\u2019t blame me for telling you the truth just because you don\u2019t know what it is, just because you don\u2019t have the slightest idea.” I don\u2019t mean you in the audience. I\u2019m talking about people I\u2019m talking to. “Just because you haven\u2019t taken the time to educate yourself about who we are really dealing with and what they are and what they mean politically, don\u2019t tell me I\u2019m going overboard.”<\/p>\n

I cite these examples like this: Can\u2019t call the owner of an NBA team an “owner” because it makes the players, what? Feel like they\u2019re slaves? You have to be trying to do all this. You know, by itself, by itself it\u2019s just a little humorous standalone item. When you add it to all of the other things that the Democrat Party and the American left is attempting to do, it\u2019s just the latest in a very concentrated effort to denigrate this country in the minds of as many people as possible.<\/p>\n

\"\"CALLER: Hi. I\u2019m calling about the story about the NBA team owners not being able to call themselves “owners” anymore because supposedly it would make black team players feel like they were being owned.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right, like slavery, yeah. Slavery in 2019.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The fact of the matter is, the players are employees. You know, so there\u2019s no oppression there, and it\u2019s part of a bigger problem that apparently the left has. They\u2019re looking for oppression everywhere and they just can\u2019t find. It\u2019s just like Jussie Smollett. You know, he wanted to be oppressed. But gee whiz, there was nothing there, so he had to make it up. And it\u2019s just showing up more and more everywhere —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, this is exactly right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and I think it\u2019s time someone gave it a name.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is exactly right. You\u2019ve got a great point. They can\u2019t find any of this stuff, so they gotta make it up — and then after they make it up, they have to try to sell it to people as real, which is what this is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think it\u2019s time for us to give it a name, and I think I\u2019ve got one for you. It\u2019s “oppressturbation,” the act of simulating oppression when you can\u2019t get the real thing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Uh, run that by me again. Oppress what?<\/p>\n

CALLER: “Oppressturbation.” Simulating oppression when you can\u2019t get the real thing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: “Oppressturbation.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What is it a…? What word forms the root there? What is it a derivative of, oppression?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s a derivative from people getting sexual pleasure when there\u2019s nobody else around.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So you\u2019re taking a syllable from the word “masturbate,” and you\u2019re putting it in this word? Is that what you\u2019re doing? Oppressturbation?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right, because it\u2019s something that the left and these grievance hucksters want. But there\u2019s none of it around, so they have to simulate it themselves.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So basically, we\u2019re talking about fake orgasms here?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Kind of fake orgasms.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. I\u2019m just trying to help people in all realms of the audience understand your point.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (crosstalk)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oppressturbation. It took me awhile to get to the root there, and I finally did. Thank you for being honest about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. The thing about it is, I think it gives it the credibility —<\/p>\n

RUSH: (interruption) Of course, I knew psychological orgasms. I know we\u2019re talking about the dream. You know, livin\u2019 the dream.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. (chuckling) But you\u2019re exactly right. They have to make it up. There isn\u2019t any slavery. They have to make it up. Then they have to try to convince people that there is slavery. There isn\u2019t any racial oppression to speak anymore, so they have to make it up, and the same thing with women and all that. Which, by the way, ties in with the fact that they cannot innovate, and they cannot accept an improved America. They cannot accept a reformed America. They\u2019re just loony, folks. They\u2019re literally mentally not all there. The fact that we treat them, analyze them rationally is one of our first mistakes.
