RUSH: Green Bay and John. John, have you heard…? Are you a Packers fan, John?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m a Bears fan, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re a Bears fan? Well, you\u2019re gonna love the news. Have you heard what happened to the Packers new head coach, Matt LaFleur? He was playing basketball Wednesday night and ruptured his Achilles tendon. It\u2019s his first season as head coach, and he\u2019s gonna be coaching in a golf cart for the next couple or three or four months. It\u2019s gonna —<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s a shame. (chuckles)<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH: Isn\u2019t it a shame. They\u2019re gonna have to make some changes or adjustments here because coaches are running around the field blowing whistles and he\u2019s gonna be down. It\u2019s actually… They don\u2019t want players doing this for this exact reason. In the off season, don\u2019t play basketball. He\u2019s a first-year head coach and he blew out his Achilles, and I just read about it, and I saw you up there from Green Bay. You\u2019re a Bears fan in Green Bay?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir. Yes. A transplant. Transplant.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ah. Ah. Okay, well, great.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why did you call? We\u2019re glad to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, good to hear you, too. Listen, I\u2019ve been a listener since \u201988.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re a lifer. That\u2019s from the very get go.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, sir. Yep. I picked up on you when I was serving in the Army myself, which kind of leads into my train of thought. I haven\u2019t heard of this line of discussion yet, and that\u2019s on Elizabeth Warren\u2019s “free college,” quote, unquote, kickbacks that she\u2019s wanting to do. I call it a kickback, but she\u2019s calling it free college. And I just had a thought that my sons and I, we\u2019re all veterans. My younger son is back to the Middle East right now as we speak. You know, a lot of people that I served with went in specifically for the GI Bill. With that being said, if she\u2019s giving free college, in my opinion, I think that\u2019s going to eliminate a lot of quality people going in the military and could hurt the numbers in the military as well. I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: In fact, you know, I\u2019ve got a sound bite here. I\u2019m looking for it, and I just found it. Grab sound bite number 20. I had not looked at this from the GI Bill angle. That\u2019s an interesting look at this. My take on Fauxcahontas and her proposals is a little bit more generic. She wants free, what, health care? She wants to forgive student loans. She wants free tuition. And she\u2019s for a guaranteed annual income. So why the hell does anybody need a job?<\/p>\n

Therefore, why does anybody need an education? Why do you need an education if you\u2019re not gonna need a job, if everything\u2019s gonna be free? Now, your angle here on the GI Bill. Giving college for free would affect the military. But, wow, anybody would be able to go to college for whatever reason if this ever really happened. The sound bite we have… She was on a syndicated radio program called The Breakfast Club and the host is Charlamagne tha God.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s an African-American guy. A friend of yours, Snerdley? Do you know…? (interruption) Wait a minute. (interruption) You\u2019ve…? Ha-ha-ha. (interruption) You ha…? (interruption) Oh, you\u2019ve heard about the show. Okay. All right. Well, anyway, Fauxcahontas is on there talking about her belief that she was of Native American heritage. Here is the bite in three, two, one…<\/p>\n

THA GOD: There were some reports that you said you were Native American on your Texas bar license, and that you said you were Native American on your documents when you were a professor at Harvard.<\/p>\n

WARREN: Yeah!<\/p>\n

THA GOD: Like, why\u2019d you do that?<\/p>\n

WARREN: So… it\u2019s… what I believe. You know, that\u2019s… Like I said, it\u2019s what I learned from my family.<\/p>\n

THA GOD: When did you find out you weren\u2019t?<\/p>\n

WARREN: Well… (sigh) You know, it\u2019s… I\u2019m not a person of color, I\u2019m not a citizen of a tribe, and tribal citizenship is an important distinction and not something I am. (nervous laugh)<\/p>\n
