But here is the Sarah Sanders statement: “The special counsel has completed the investigation, closed his office, and has closed the case. Mr. Mueller explicitly said that he has nothing to add beyond the report, and therefore, does not plan to testify before Congress.” That is the bombshell, folks<\/a>.\u00a0 I have to tell you.\u00a0 In the real world, with the narrative up to today, that\u2019s the bombshell. Because, again, the context leading up to today is that Barr has been covering up what Mueller found!<\/p>\nThis is what the media has been telling us and what the Democrats have been implying up on Capitol Hill.\u00a0 Why do they want to talk to Mueller?\u00a0 They\u2019re demanding that Mueller come up and say something! Why?\u00a0 Because they are convinced that Mueller knows more than what\u2019s in the report.\u00a0 They\u2019re convinced that Trump colluded.\u00a0 They\u2019re convinced that Trump did it and that Mueller knows but that Barr isn\u2019t letting him say so.\u00a0 That\u2019s been the narrative.<\/p>\n

Pardon me for being passionate about this, but I\u2019m about to explode with all this.\u00a0 That has been the narrative, and Mueller today blew it to smithereens!\u00a0 Mueller said (summarized), “There isn\u2019t anything else. There isn\u2019t anything that\u2019s not in the report, and I\u2019m not testifying to anything that isn\u2019t in the report.”\u00a0 That is the bombshell, that all these Democrats who think that there is hidden evidence were just told to go pound sand.\u00a0 But then Mueller, in order to cover up his bombshell, starts talking this nonsense.<\/p>\n
“If we had confidence the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so,” which kind of nullifies what he just said here that there\u2019s nothing beyond what\u2019s in the report. “I have nothing else for you.”\u00a0 Oh, and then he throws in, “But look, if we had the evidence the president didn\u2019t do it, we would have said so.”\u00a0 This is about obstruction, by the way.\u00a0 He said, “The report is my testimony.”\u00a0 I\u2019m sorry, that\u2019s the bombshell today.\u00a0 There isn\u2019t anything else, and Sarah Sanders\u2019 statement here is right on the money.<\/p>\n
“Mr. Mueller explicitly said that he has nothing to add beyond the report, and therefore, does not plan to testify before Congress. The report was clear \u2014 there was no collusion, no conspiracy \u2014 and the Department of Justice confirmed there was no obstruction. Special Counsel Mueller also stated that Attorney General Barr acted in good faith in his handling of the report. After two years, the special counsel is moving on with his life, and everyone else should do the same.”<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it!\u00a0 That ought to be the operative statement.\u00a0 But it isn\u2019t.\u00a0 So I checked the email during the break.\u00a0 There\u2019s a lot of frustration out there.\u00a0 This is an email that pretty much covers some of what else I\u2019m getting.\u00a0 “Dear Mr. Limbaugh:\u00a0 Here\u2019s what I don\u2019t understand.\u00a0 There are reams of evidence that there was a coup going on and that our government was actively trying to reverse the outcome of an election and get rid of the president with all sorts of illegal methods.\u00a0 I know all about them.\u00a0 I\u2019ve listened, I\u2019ve watched, I\u2019ve read all this information over two years.<\/p>\n
“Why in the hell isn\u2019t it out there?\u00a0 Instead, people are silent. They\u2019re not reporting the evidence. Republicans in Congress are The Walking Dead; it allows this whole thing to continue.\u00a0 It needs to end, and the Republicans in Congress need to end it this week.”\u00a0 This is in reference to all of the facts that we have about the illegalities that took place in this so-called investigation: The FBI planting spies, the use of spies, informants.\u00a0 We know that the dossier was totally made up.\u00a0 It\u2019s political opposition research paid for by Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n
We know that it was the only, quote-unquote, “evidence.”\u00a0 Why isn\u2019t that out there?\u00a0 Well, it\u2019s a great question.\u00a0 That part of it is, it\u2019s gonna be out there if and when the president declassifies all these documents.\u00a0 What happened on TV today in the hours after the media learned that Mueller was gonna make a statement at the Justice Department, is great illustration of what our media has become. (sigh) It\u2019s gonna be difficult for me to nail this precisely in terms of conveying to you how I actually think about it, feel about it.<\/p>\n
So Mueller… Again, remember the context.\u00a0 The context is that the Democrats want to talk to Mueller because Mueller, they think, has more to say, and that Barr is somehow covering it up or not letting him testify, whatever it is. But they want to talk to Mueller, to get Mueller up there to testify.\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 So now we got this shock announcement today that Mueller is gonna issue a statement at the Department of Justice.\u00a0 When was that, Mr. Snerdley, about 9:30.\u00a0 So we had about 90 minutes advance time.\u00a0 In those… (interruption)<\/p>\n
What?\u00a0 (interruption) Yeah, but just the timing.\u00a0 Ninety minutes.\u00a0 If you were watching cable news, you know \u2019cause you saw what I saw.\u00a0 We saw the total suspension of reason.\u00a0 We saw 90 minutes of a parade.\u00a0 Whatever network you chose to watch, we saw a parade of people being brought in to answer the question, “What\u2019s he gonna say?”\u00a0 And of course, nobody knew!\u00a0 Nobody knew.\u00a0 So we got an hour and a half of speculation from people that worked at the DOJ, people that knew the DOJ, people who had a dream about the DOJ, people that have read about the DOJ, people who looked in the toilet and saw the DOJ, whoever.<\/p>\n

If they had any relation to the DOJ, they were brought on television today to offer a learned expert opinion, and it all operated under a single premise: That Mueller is legitimate, that Mueller is Mr. Honorable, that Mueller is Mr. Boy Scout, that the investigation is legitimate and still legitimate, that the investigation is the beginning and the end of everything, that the investigation is all that matters inside the Washington Beltway. And for 90 minutes today, and I guess the whole day, that\u2019s what they\u2019re gonna conclude.<\/p>\n
The only thing that mattered today are those eight minutes of Robert Mueller, and in the hour and a half\/two hours leading up to it, there wasn\u2019t one… I didn\u2019t see, and I scoured around; I channel surfed. I didn\u2019t see one person challenge the premise.\u00a0 Everybody speculated, “Is Mueller gonna go rogue?\u00a0 Is Mueller gonna unload on Barr?\u00a0 Is Mueller gonna unload on Trump?\u00a0 Is Mueller gonna finally divulge the evidence that Trump is a traitor?”\u00a0 That\u2019s what they were all speculating about.\u00a0 “Is Mueller gonna finally tell the truth?”<\/p>\n
Which is that 488 pages a couple weeks ago, 500 witnesses — a thousand, gazillion, million documents — people\u2019s lives ruined, people in jail, people in solitary confinement, people financially wiped out.\u00a0 “Is Mueller gonna tell the truth?\u00a0 Is Mueller gonna go rogue?” And then, of course, “No, no, Mueller is not gonna go rogue.\u00a0 If Mueller was gonna go rogue, he wouldn\u2019t be doing his press conference from the Department of Justice.\u00a0 He\u2019d be doing it from St. Kitts in an invisible cave where he couldn\u2019t be found afterwards.”<\/p>\n
St. Kitts is an island in the Caribbean, for those of you in Rio Linda.\u00a0 It could have been St. Thomas, but take your pick. He would have been somewhere, Venezuela, where they couldn\u2019t indict him.\u00a0 But, no, he\u2019s not gonna go rogue because he\u2019s at the DOJ.\u00a0 “But wait! But wait! Barr\u2019s out of town.\u00a0 Barr\u2019s in Alaska!\u00a0 Oh, my God.\u00a0 Does Barr know?\u00a0 Barr… (sputtering) Oh, my God.\u00a0 And Comey!\u00a0 Comey had an op-ed in the Washington Post yesterday, and here comes Barr.\u00a0 Oh, my God.\u00a0 Could this be a giant conspiracy?\u00a0 Could this all be a giant thing here and they\u2019re gonna get Trump finally?”<\/p>\n
This is what it was.\u00a0 Oh, there was another one.\u00a0 “Well, you know, the only other time that Mueller ever said anything publicly was when they had to refute a story in BuzzFeed that Michael Cohen had evidence that Trump had done whatever and he was gonna get sent to jail for it, and Mueller had to come out and say it wasn\u2019t true.\u00a0 So maybe, maybe Mueller\u2019s gonna come out today and say that what they\u2019re saying — what this Michael Wolff guy is saying — is wrong; that, no, no, no, we didn\u2019t have three indictments drawn up.<\/p>\n

“No, no, no, no.\u00a0 They\u2019re just gonna come out and refute Michael Wolff.\u00a0 No, he can\u2019t do that.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think Mueller\u2019s gonna go rogue.\u00a0 I think Mueller\u2019s gonna come out and basically just say, ‘That\u2019s it. There\u2019s nothing more and we\u2019re moving on here.\u00a0 Who knows?'”\u00a0 And it\u2019s all that mattered.\u00a0 There could have been a nuclear bomb on a feces pile in San Francisco and they would not have broken in on the analysis of what Mueller was gonna say to cover it.\u00a0 Kim Jong-un could have called a press conference, “I love Donald Trump and I\u2019m destroying all of my nukes tonight,” and they would not have broken in to cover it.<\/p>\n
So you ask, “Why doesn\u2019t the truth of this come out?”<\/p>\n
Because everybody in the town is absorbed with one question:\u00a0 “Is somebody gonna force Donald Trump out of town?\u00a0 Is somebody gonna get it done? Is somebody gonna force Trump out?\u00a0 Did Trump do it?\u00a0 Does somebody have the evidence?\u00a0 Is somebody gonna finally be able to prove that Trump is a whack job that needs to be sent packing back to Trump Tower?”\u00a0 That\u2019s the focus — and, of course, when that becomes the great anticipation, what do you think they\u2019re gonna report that they got?\u00a0 They\u2019re gonna report, “Mueller unloaded today in an explosive eight-minute press conference in which he confirmed that they couldn\u2019t prove that Donald Trump didn\u2019t do it,” and here we are.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
