RUSH: Here is Kelly in Ogden, Utah.  You\u2019re next.  It\u2019s great to have you.  Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Thank you very much, Professor Limbaugh.  I just wanted to say that people are already voting for President Trump with their wallets.  I read an article in the paper the other day that said the Trump campaign has gathered in $30 million in the first quarter of this year.<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH:  Oh, it\u2019s up to over 70 now.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Is it now?<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Yep.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  And $170 million since 2017.  That people… Whatever the fake news wants to say, people are already voting with their wallets.  Like you said, nobody is gonna turn us off about Trump except Trump, and he ain\u2019t about to do that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s exactly right.  Nobody can destroy Trump except Trump.  The media can\u2019t do it, and nobody else can.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, let me give you the update on this.<\/p>\n

CALLER:  Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Trump has collected, at this stage of the campaign for reelection, 21 times the money Obama had raised and collected at this same point in Obama\u2019s reelection for 2012.  But here is the stunning number.  (This is off the top of my head.  I\u2019ve got the story buried here in the Stack.)  The vast… Are you ready? The vast majority of donations are for $200 or less.  Now, it\u2019s 21 times the money Obama\u2019s raised, and it\u2019s higher than the DNC has at this point, too.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t have a candidate.  So you know, you have to compare it to each individual candidate, and they are divvying up the grand total of Democrat donations with so many candidates out there.  But no matter how you slice it, Trump is still way head.  But with so many, so much of that total being from people donating $200 or less, that is a heck of a lot of people.<\/p>\n

And that statistic has got Democrats scratching their heads.  Remember, in their minds, everybody hates Trump like they do!  I want to have more on this. I\u2019ve gotta take a break here.  But what the Democrats are slowly awakening to — which has been a theme, if you will, of today\u2019s program — has got to be just depressing as it can be for these people.  I will explain when we get back.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  This is unbelievable.  Ninety-nine percent of donors to Trump (with a record about right now) are of $200 or less.  Ninety-nine percent.  Folks, that alone… The Democrats have not taken time to understand any of you or any other Trump supporters.  They just hold you in contempt, and I\u2019m not exaggerating.  They blame you more than they blame Trump, and they think you\u2019re stupid, you\u2019re idiotic, you\u2019re hayseeds, you\u2019re tobacco-chewing, missing-your-two-front-teeth, shotgun people.  They hate you.  They hold you in great contempt.<\/p>\n

And when they hear stats like this, it\u2019s just gonna drive \u2019em bonkers because in their minds, they think they\u2019re the ones that have people fooled into thinking they care about them, Democrats care about them.  Now, here\u2019s the thing.  If you\u2019re the Democrat Party, if you\u2019re any of these hapless Democrat presidential candidates — if you\u2019re any of the Democrats in the House and the Senate in the leadership like Pelosi, Chuck You Schumer, you\u2019re got that idiot Pencil Neck, all of these people, Senator Dick Durbin — you\u2019re sitting there and for the last two years…<\/p>\n

Nope. Make it the last three. For the last three years, you\u2019ve had it right in the palm of your hand, getting rid of Donald Trump. “Trump\u2019s a traitor! Trump colluded with Russia! Mueller is gonna prove it. Mueller is our savior. Mueller is gonna show these stupid, idiot Trump voters who he really is, and they\u2019re gonna abandon Trump when they find out that he\u2019s a traitor. He\u2019s a Russian agent,” and they believed all of this.  They may not have at first, but they got so immersed in it, they cannot…<\/p>\n

Like I told you, I can watch this smut on TV, this depraved stuff, and have boundaries and have it not affect me.  I don\u2019t become it.  They became this insanity.  They became all of this, and now it\u2019s gone.  The bottom has fallen out.  The media has openly lied to people for 2-1\/2, three years, and now where are the Democrats?  Better yet, where\u2019s Trump?  Trump is presiding over a great economy.  Do you know this: The American savings right is even going up! People are saving money again.  How about unemployment?<\/p>\n

Not to mention the economy.  Record low African-American unemployment. Record low! All-time record low Hispanic and African-American unemployment.  This is true of every demographic — women, one-armed amputees in Soho, you name it — and Trump is carrying the day. Not to mention the fact that we have a president now who makes no bones about the fact that the most important place on earth to him is the United States, not the United Nations.<\/p>\n

Something as simple as Make America Great Again is translated into something that every American voting for Trump believes in and wants to happen.  Nobody on the Trump team is embarrassed of his or her country.  We love our country.  We understand all of its benefits and pluses.  We understand the glorious opportunities presented here.  We understand how fortunate we are to be Americans — and, yeah, we understand some of the problems, but we don\u2019t look at those as disqualifiers.<\/p>\n

The left looks at all of this stuff from the past that\u2019s been fixed as disqualifiers in the conversation about whether or not America\u2019s exceptional, whether America is great.  We have a repositioning of American enemies.  We\u2019re no longer in bed with Iran trying to help them get a nuclear weapon!  We are sanctioning Iran.  We\u2019re doing everything we can to make it tough on them.  The same thing with the ChiComs and the Norks!  What are the Democrats gonna run against that?  What in the world…? If that\u2019s what you\u2019ve gotta campaign against, what do you campaign against?<\/p>\n

How do you run against an inarguably great economy?  How do you run against record-low unemployment?  And let\u2019s not even… Well, let\u2019s do.  Let\u2019s throw immigration into this, and Trump\u2019s supporters know exactly where he is on this. When he talks about taking illegal immigrants and putting them in sanctuary cities, everybody applauds because we understand the point.  So what do the Democrats run on?  That Trump is human debris, or that Barr knows that Mueller found collusion and is covering is up.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve got nothing to run on except more hatred and more lies and more character assassination.  And look at… They\u2019re saying stupid things.  Beto O\u2019Rourke, $5 trillion climate change program?  Some of the things these people are coming up with, pro-socialism and so forth to differentiate themselves? They are demonstrating they\u2019ve literally got nothing to run on, and Politico acknowledges this today.  “Democrats Sweat Trump\u2019s Economy.”  Quote, “We don\u2019t really have a robust national message right now.”<\/p>\n

That\u2019s one “top Democrat,” not named here.  “One top Democrat fears that all this could be a recipe for disaster in 2020.”  The Barron\u2019s survey thinks that Trump wins in a landslide.  I tell you, folks… Look, I\u2019m not counting chickens yet.  Don\u2019t misunderstand.  I\u2019m the guy that says you can\u2019t predict this stuff.  Polling data doesn\u2019t mean anything right now because way too much that we can\u2019t predict is going to happen.  So a poll today doesn\u2019t really mean anything other than give you an idea of what certain people are thinking right now.<\/p>\n

But we\u2019re still too far out.  But on the ground where elections are won and lost, the Democrats have heap big doo-doo, and their media is getting more and more insane as they get more and more frustrated at their inability to damage and take out Trump.  So expect more of the same.  They\u2019re not gonna slow down and say, “You know what? We need to recalibrate here.  This isn\u2019t working.”  They\u2019re gonna keep piling it on, the people that thought Michael Avenatti would be a great Democrat presidential candidate, like those at CNN!<\/p>\n

You think Barack Obama in his third year in office could have hosted a rally like Trump did Saturday night and drawn tens of thousands of people like Trump did? I submit to you that there isn\u2019t anybody, especially on the Democrat side, who could do it.<\/p>\n
