RUSH:\u00a0 Did you see where Bob Woodward is calling the Steele dossier a bunch of garbage?\u00a0 Bob Woodward is saying that there needs to be action taken to get to the bottom of it to find out how this garbage, how this outrage could have been so prominently used by the FBI and the CIA.\u00a0 Come on, Bob! You know what\u2019s happening here, folks?\u00a0 First, over the weekend, we have the New York Times running the story that I highlighted prominently yesterday<\/a>, where they now acknowledge that the Steele dossier could well have been (impression) “Russian disinformation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>“It\u2019s likely the dossier is not proven.\u00a0 There\u2019s nothing in it.” Why is the New York Times doing this?\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 They\u2019re admitting that they ran with a series of lies for nearly two years, and now here\u2019s Woodward the next day backing it up.\u00a0 Now something tells me that, you know, A, I think it is an acknowledgment that Barr is serious about his investigation to find out what the hell happened. And we know that the inspector general, Horowitz, is already looking into the FISA application process, which is where the dossier was used.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The judges in that FISA court were either lied to or were in on this.\u00a0 The attorney general, Barr, said that the inspector general report is due sometime in May or June.\u00a0 So these people who knowingly used and spread a series of lies are all of a sudden trying to get right with God, or whoever?\u00a0 It tells me they know what\u2019s coming.\u00a0 It tells me that they know the jig is gonna be up and they\u2019ve gotta somehow get themselves on the right side of this now because they know that the truth is going to be presented sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Hi, Rush.\u00a0 This is an honor.\u00a0 I turned 70 yesterday.\u00a0 It\u2019s my birthday present.\u00a0 But, anyway, yeah, I was listening Sunday to Bob Woodward, and he made a joke about “follow the money,” and he said that was just in the movie and the whole thing.\u00a0 The only thing is, Bob Woodward is so deep in the swamp. Six months before he broke the Watergate story, he was working for naval intelligence.\u00a0 But what he said was, this money goes all… He says there was no money linked to Trump.\u00a0 But then he says that the money goes back to Putin.\u00a0 I\u2019m going, “Now, where does he get that link?” But that\u2019s what they\u2019re trying to do.\u00a0 They\u2019re trying to make a money trail to Putin.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 You mean the dossier, not the money?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Well, yeah, the dossier, the money for the dossier goes back to Putin.\u00a0 That\u2019s what he was trying to say.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Right.\u00a0 That\u2019s the point.\u00a0 That\u2019s what I wanted out there.\u00a0 This is what they\u2019re going to try to do.\u00a0 They now are forced to admit what they have known for two years.\u00a0 Do not doubt me.\u00a0 They have known this dossier is fake.\u00a0 If not for two years, for a year and a half they have certainly known it.\u00a0 They knew it when they used it to apply for FISA warrants and renew it, the FISA warrant and then three renewals.\u00a0 They knew it.<\/p>\n

\"\"They rolled the dice and thought that they could make something happen using this, and they bombed out.\u00a0 So now they know that the truth. It\u2019s one thing for people like me to be telling you that the dossier is fake.\u00a0 But wait \u2019til the inspector general or Barr\u2019s investigation reveals that it was fake.\u00a0 So what are they doing?\u00a0 They\u2019re linking it to Putin, not Hillary!\u00a0 That\u2019s what Bob Woodward was doing with his comments, that the dossier is linked to Putin.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t even mention Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n

Now, it is linked to Russians in the sense that Hillary hired Christopher Steele to write the dossier.\u00a0 Fusion GPS actually hired Steele.\u00a0 Hillary and her campaign wanted it done, and they paid Steele via that law firm, Perkins Coie, and Steele did talk to a bunch of Russian agents and they got together and just made up a bunch of stuff.\u00a0 Russian agents that Steele has known since his career as a British spy.\u00a0 So now, they\u2019re going to try to leave the Hillary Clinton and the FBI, the DOJ out of it, and claim it\u2019s a Putin operation.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Well, you know what?\u00a0 Good question. If it were up to her, she would be.\u00a0 But I get your point.\u00a0 She didn\u2019t have an election stolen from her.\u00a0 She lost it.\u00a0 She was a lousy candidate, and they know it, and they gave her her chance twice, she blew it twice. Her time is past.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (chuckling) Boy, is that ever… That\u2019s another thing.\u00a0 All these Republicans out there ever since the nineties who have been hoping and praying somebody would bury the Clintons, and it was Donald Trump who did it. That\u2019s why they had to say the Russians did it or that the whole thing was rigged.\u00a0 But in fact, all of the rigging… The people that tried to rig an election are Hillary and Comey and McCabe — all these people in Obama\u2019s FBI, Obama\u2019s CIA, in Obama\u2019s Department of Justice — and the Clinton campaign, the Democrat National Committee.
