CALLER: Thank you, Rush. Appreciate your taking my call. Say, I was wondering, is the attorney general saying that there was no other Americans involved in any of this, does that give the Clintons a free ticket to not be investigated for obstruction or collusion?<\/p>\n
RUSH: No.<\/p>\n
CALLER: That\u2019s good.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Nope. Nope. Nope. Again, I\u2019m fascinated by people\u2019s thought processes and their reaction to things. I would have never heard that when Barr said no — look. Let me try to put you all at ease about something. Mr. Snerdley says that he put that call up first because we\u2019re getting inundated with people: \u201cHey, Barr just exonerated Hillary.\u201d No. He was talking about this specific, quote, unquote, investigation.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s trying to make the point when he says “no official of the Trump administration — and, in fact, no American colluded with Russia to affect this election\u201d in the context of: Did Trump do it, did the Trump campaign do it? Barr hasn\u2019t even begun yet on investigating the investigation.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know anything, but I\u2019ve seen nothing but a resolute sense of purpose on Barr\u2019s face every time he\u2019s spoken publicly about this. I think he is dead serious about getting to the bottom of this. And I think the Hillary Clinton involvement with Fusion GPS and the Perkins Coie law firm and Christopher Steele and collusion with Russia in that regard, that\u2019s a whole different investigation.<\/p>\n
Remember, this never did happen. That did. But I don\u2019t think Barr is exonerating Hillary or anybody else with this statement today. This statement that he gave today was made specifically to try to do what he could to control the news narrative today related to public opinion about the Trump administration and President Trump himself, not anything else.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right. My question is this. When or how is William Barr going to start to prosecute the whole clown gang: Hillary, Comey, Strzok, Andrew McCabe, the whole bunch of them, and use their kind of terminology. Don\u2019t say prosecute. Say when is Hillary going to jail, when is Comey going to jail, when is Strzok going to jail, start using that and make a big media event out of that and take the focus off this stupid 400-page joke.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There\u2019s no way of doing that. You\u2019re not gonna change — well, I take it back. You want Barr to start talking about, “Okay. Up next Hillary Clinton\u2019s going to jail. Peter Strzok Smirk\u2019s going jail” and have that change the media narrative? So the media starts defending Hillary — well, that would be great if Barr would do it, but Barr is not gonna put it that way.<\/p>\n
But I want to just tell you, I am more convinced than I\u2019ve been just by studying Barr. I am convinced that he is going to do this, this investigation. I don\u2019t know what he\u2019s gonna find, I don\u2019t know what the scope of it\u2019s gonna be, but he is going to investigate what the hell this was, how it began, and who perpetuated it and gave it life, especially now when there was nothing to justify it!<\/p>\n
Folks, we now know from official results that there was no justification for this. Now, we\u2019ve known it from the day it began, but in the context, the premise these people are all talking about this, there\u2019s ample reason to begin this investigation. And I think Barr is serious. But don\u2019t look for him to announce that the investigation into putting Hillary Clinton in jail has just started it and in that effort — he\u2019s not gonna talk that way.
