RUSH: By popular demand, we mentioned earlier the Starr Report and how after it came out because it was detailed, lurid details of Clinton\u2019s sexual exploits — not just with Monica Lewinsky but with a whole bunch of women. And it was so lurid that the Democrats voted never again to release special counsel or independent counsel reports, that they had to first go to the attorney general, then to Congress and all that requirement, and that the grand jury stuff be redacted.<\/p>\n
Now they\u2019re throwing all that to the wind. Well, back during that era, during that period, before the Starr Report came out, the Democrats were out savaging Ken Starr. They perfected the strategy of attacking the investigator, which is another thing I find — you know, Trump going after Mueller, calling it a witch hunt, the Democrats, “This is so unseemly. We don\u2019t attack the investigator. The investigation is sacrosanct. We don\u2019t.”<\/p>\n
