<\/p>\nRUSH: Even while I am away, I am never away. I always check in, I always stay informed, I am always learning — and so it was over the weekend. I was doing a little bit of show prep. Actually, it was Friday night. I was out Friday. I ran across a fascinating story. I don\u2019t know how much play this got. You guys will have to tell me. Here\u2019s the headline: “Vatican Cardinal Warns: ‘West Will Disappear\u2019 Because of Mass Migration,” dot-dot-dot. Does this ring a bell with anybody?<\/p>\n

“Vatican Cardinal Robert Sarah warns that the ‘West will disappear\u2019 as a result of mass migration, adding that ‘Islam will invade the world\u2019 and ‘completely change culture, anthropology, and moral vision.'” This is a cardinal of the Catholic Church, a colleague of Il Papa Francis — who doesn\u2019t believe any of this, by the way. “Sarah\u2019s new book, Evening Draws Near and the Day is Nearly Over, is causing controversy in Europe because it explicitly identifies Muslim migration as a harbinger of [Europe]\u2019s collapse.”<\/p>\n
By the way, Cardinal Sarah is black. I don\u2019t know what African nation he\u2019s from, but he\u2019s not white. All right? Let me just… Whatever he is, he\u2019s not white. So he\u2019s not some white supremacist as a cardinal in the Catholic Church saying this. He says, “‘If the West continues in this fatal way, there is a great risk that, due to a lack of birth, [the West] will disappear,” he\u2019s talking about Western Civilization, “invaded by foreigners, just as Rome has been invaded by barbarians,\u2019 said Sarah, adding, ‘My country is predominantly Muslim. I think I know what reality I\u2019m talking about.\u2019<\/p>\n
“The cardinal also blamed the European Union for its ‘desire to globalize the world, ridding it of nations with their distinctive characteristics,\u2019 labeling the move ‘sheer madness.'” He writes, “‘The Brussels Commission thinks only about building a free market in the service of the great financial powers. … The European Union no longer protects the peoples within it. It protects the banks.\u2019 In a previous video interview, Sarah warned that Europe had lost its roots and was dying because of fewer European natives having children.”<\/p>\n

This is the old birthrate-replacement level. In Germany, their birthrate replacement level is way below normal. That\u2019s why Angela Merkel was happy to be importing 800,000 migrants every year for her labor force. “In recent interviews, [Cardinal Sarah] has gone even further, noting that priests, bishops and cardinals within the Catholic Church have betrayed the teachings of Christ by pursuing political activism. Sarah\u2019s comments put him at odds with the Pope, who has relentlessly promoted migration from African and Middle Eastern countries into Europe.<\/p>\n
“According to the cardinal, it is wrong to ‘use the word of God to promote migration,\u2019 and it is better ‘to help people flourish in their culture than to encourage them to come to Europe.'” Boy, this guy has hit the nail on the head. “Sarah slammed mass migration as a ‘new form of slavery\u2019 because migrants end up ‘without work or dignity.\u2019 ‘Is that what the church wants?\u2019 he asked.” But at the end, Cardinal Robert “Sarah remained hopeful of the situation being reversed, asserting, ‘This is not the end of the world; the church will rise,'” do the right thing as a church, and return and get back to basics.<\/p>\n
He doesn\u2019t say how or when that\u2019s gonna happen, but that\u2019s his hope.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to… You were talking in your first hour about you were talking about Cardinal Sarah and what he said about immigration and how that\u2019s affecting just the West and the demise of the West is imminent.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Right. Predominantly in Europe is what he was concerned about.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Right. So Cardinal Sarah is… There are a lot of Millennial Catholics who are watching him carefully because he is becoming a very powerful voice. He doesn\u2019t speak much, but when he does, it\u2019s very profound, and he has some very interesting things to say about socialism, because he\u2019s… You said you weren\u2019t sure where he\u2019s from. He\u2019s from Guinea, and he has a very interesting story about fighting Marxist regimes in Guinea.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, you know, it was very brave because the pope doesn\u2019t agree. The pope doesn\u2019t agree with anything Cardinal Sarah said, and he called out Islam in Europe as the primary enemy via all of this migration, and he said the West is looking at not surviving because their birthrate replacement levels are low. You just… He\u2019s got a book, and he says the Catholic Church can rise again and stop this and save it. But, man, it was… I\u2019m glad to hear… I\u2019m short of time. I\u2019m glad to hear that Millennials have attached to this guy, because clearly, he\u2019s more in tune with what the church ought to be saying than what the pope himself is saying.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
