CALLER: Oh, my gosh. Hi.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Hi. Hi. How are you? Carmen, it says up there you\u2019re 11?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: 11 years old! I would have never known that —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — if you hadn\u2019t said so. You don\u2019t sound like you\u2019re 11. You sound older than that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, thanks. I always sound like a baby on the phone. So I was just calling to say how much I enjoyed reading your book, Rush Revere and the Presidenc<\/a>y, and I did a book report on it, and it made like reading a lot more fun \u2019cause reading is usually really boring, and I got an A+ on my book report from reading that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey, Carmen, can I ask you a question about your book report?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How many pages was it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It was only one page.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A one-page book report, you got an A+ on it, you summarized a 200-page book in one page, and you got an A+ on it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s fascinating. And I don\u2019t doubt that your book report encompassed the premise and the things that you got out of it because it\u2019s entirely possible to do that. Have you read the other books or just that one?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. I couldn\u2019t find them anywhere else \u2019cause I got it for Christmas, and, you know, my grandparents couldn\u2019t remember where they got it from.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Your grandparents couldn\u2019t remember where they got it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, let\u2019s see here. You\u2019ve not read the first one, you\u2019ve not read Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nope. That\u2019s the only one I\u2019ve read, but I really liked it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You read the Brave Pilgrims or the presidency?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I read the presidency one.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. Well, that is good. That is good. Did you note that we spent a lot of time in that book chronicling the importance of the wives of these presidents?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We did that on purpose so that they would not be given, you know, lack of respect. Well, I\u2019m glad that you noticed that. Well, let me guess —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — your favorite character would be me, Rush Revere, right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I kind of like Liberty a lot because horses are my favorite animal.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>RUSH: Oh, really, the horse is your favorite animal? Cool! Okay. All right. Well, you know, we\u2019ve got some Liberty stuffed animals<\/a> that —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — you\u2019ll probably like this for a few more years, you\u2019ll probably like it hanging around in the bedroom. I\u2019ll tell you what I\u2019m gonna do. I\u2019m gonna put you on hold here and then Greg will be back and answer your call here and we\u2019ll get your address so that we can send you a complete package of stuff from Rush Revere and Liberty.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll send you the rest of the books, and we\u2019ll send you the CDs, the audio versions of each, which feature me reading the books, if you ever want to take time off from reading. You can listen to them, the audio version, and some other good stuff. We love sending this stuff out to people that love the books. So that\u2019s good.
