RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I got to attend the McCain-Palin rally last week in northern Virginia. And boy, let me tell you, the women up there are fired up. It was a sight to behold, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, what would you say the percentage of audience of this rally was female?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019d say at least 70%. They\u2019re not your normal NAGs, either, there were some cougars out there, some pretty ladies and smart too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not surprised. I\u2019ve heard this, other rallies. Of course they\u2019re smart. Cougars, yeah, going to have a mixture out there. But, folks, I\u2019ve got some of the most outrageous stuff written about Sarah Palin by feminists. It\u2019s just delightful. They\u2019re over the top. They\u2019re imploding. They can\u2019t believe what has happened here, and as such, they are revealing who they really are. Some of these women who are writing — and they have newspaper columns, San Francisco, Chicago, and so forth — it\u2019s just fascinating to watch. It is making my day because they are proving to one and all everything that I have ever thought about them as feminists. It\u2019s not about women, it\u2019s about certain women. It\u2019s about liberal women. It\u2019s about things other than women\u2019s rights and women\u2019s issues and women cracking the glass ceiling. Nothing about that. It\u2019s all about just extreme liberalism. <\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: I mentioned Cintra Wilson. This is one of these just over-the-top feminist babes that\u2019s just beside herself over the nomination of Sarah Palin, and she posted a piece on Salon, and a lot of it I can\u2019t read, it\u2019s just obscene. For example, ‘Sarah Palin may be a lady, but she ain\u2019t no woman. I confess, it was pretty riveting when John McCain trotted out Sarah Palin for the first time. Like many people, I thought, ‘Damn, a hyperconservative, [bleep] Type A, antiabortion, Christian Stepford wife in a ‘sexy librarian\u2019 costume.\u2019 … Palin may have been a boost of political Viagra for the limp, bloodless GOP. But ideologically, she is their hardcore pornographic centerfold spread. … The throat she\u2019s so hot to cut is that of all American women. I don\u2019t want Sarah Palin being the representative leader and custodian of my rights, my Constitution and my country any more than I want polygamist compound leader Warren Jeffs baby-sitting for my preteen goddaughters. As a woman who does not believe what Palin believes, the thought of such an opportunistic anti-female in the White House — in the Cheney chair, no less — is akin to ideological brain rape. What this Republican blowup doll does with her own insides in accord with her own faith is her business. But, like the worst and most terrifying of religious extremists, she seems very comfortable with the idea of imposing her own views on everyone else.\u2019<\/p>\n

It goes on. I want to tell you who this woman is, Cintra Wilson. This is a piece that\u2019s posted by Jennie Yabroff, September 19th, 2004, the San Francisco Chronicle. ‘After dropping out of high school, Wilson went to San Francisco State, where she supported herself writing, and occasionally recording, scripts for 976 phone sex services, an experience she files in the ‘lame and sleazy\u2019 drawer. … In 1996, Wilson moved from San Francisco to New York. Shortly after her move her ex-boyfriend, Bay Area musician Kevin Gilbert, was found dead in his apartment of autoerotic asphyxiation. The little-known phenomenon occurs when a person accidentally suffocates while cutting off his own air supply while masturbating, and is often confused with suicide.\u2019 This is what happened to the guy in INXS, the singer. ”AEA,\u2019 as Wilson, who has done extensive research, calls it, makes an appearance in ‘Colors\u2019 as well, the unfortunate fate of a sadomasochistic gay dwarf Liza befriends. Gilbert was not the first person Wilson lost to AEA — her best friend\u2019s boyfriend in high school, also a musician, died of it as well. ‘Two people in my life have died of AEA, and nobody knows about it,\u2019 she says. ‘So I was trying to raise awareness about that. I was hoping people would ask questions about it. It\u2019s been a big thing in my life.” So this woman who knows two guys, one of them a boyfriend who died from this asphyxiation business has written this piece. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s other examples of this. This photographer, Jill Greenberg, that took the cover photo of McCain for the Atlantic Monthly, tricked him into posing in certain ways that made him look devilish. She had a light on the floor, camera on the floor, shining a light up above him, cast a big shadow behind him, he looked 120 years old with all the wrinkles in his face shadowed even more. She then Photoshopped the pictures with blood coming out of his mouth as an angel of death or something, and she took the official portrait of McCain for the cover of a story in Atlantic Monthly. And the editor of Atlantic Monthly said, ‘We investigated her background and we looked at her work, very professional photography.\u2019 Well, couldn\u2019t you have found out this woman is a blatant, sick liberal? All you have to do is Google her and you find out what her political beliefs are. So this guy, ‘We\u2019re going to apologize to McCain,\u2019 and so forth. But they\u2019re unhinged, and this is great. The more that this is seen, the better it\u2019s going to be. Steve Gilbert, Sweetness-Light.com, has all these pictures from this woman that she posted on her website after she took the official cover shot of McCain. <\/p>\n

Now, it keeps going. This is Claire McCaskill, who is a big Obama supporter on Stephanopoulos\u2019 show yesterday, along with Carly Fiorina, who was an advisor to McCain. Stephanopoulos says, ‘I want to get to these arguments. First, is it really fair game to bring in McCain\u2019s age like that, saying he will be one of the oldest presidents we\u2019ve ever had?\u2019<\/p>\n

MCCASKILL: Well, I think what we\u2019re talking about is a reality. Other people talk about his melanoma. We\u2019re talking about a reality here that we have to face. This is someone who\u2019s going to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. All of us know it. I just think that it\u2019s — it\u2019s the facts, George, and that\u2019s something that we need to start focusing on are the facts instead of distortions and lies.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is an attack on Sarah Palin, of course, because she could be a heartbeat away. McCain\u2019s got cancer, he\u2019s had cancer, he\u2019s old and he\u2019s going to die. The bounds of propriety have been blown to smithereens. It\u2019s something that everybody knows, but in polite company you don\u2019t talk about. But they think all this stuff is helping them. Carly Fiorina fired right back. Stephanopoulos, ‘How about the argument that Senator McCaskill just made that we have to face the facts about McCain\u2019s age, Senator Palin on the issue of earmarks does not walk the walk,\u2019 blah, blah.<\/p>\n

FIORINA: Let\u2019s start with John McCain\u2019s age. I frankly find this disrespectful in the extreme. This is ageism. All you need to do is look at the schedule that John McCain has kept for the last two years to realize that he is one of the most vigorous, most energetic campaigners, frankly, in my judgment, out there. So I think this continued resort to he\u2019s too old is desperation, frankly, not to mention disrespectful to a very capable commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, according to CNN, in 2004, John Kerry lost the senior vote to Bush 60 and older by seven points, 65 and older by five points. Now the 60 and older are 24% of the electorate. And here\u2019s the Obama camp now out insulting them. They show up and vote more frequently, they contribute lots of money, they tried this in 2004, in their own way. Well, they lost the senior vote, even though they\u2019re out there claiming everybody on the Republican side is going to cut their Social Security. So they\u2019re just doing everything that\u2019s going to be backfiring in their face out there now, folks, because they don\u2019t quite understand it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
