Clinton was as far away from Obama as he could get. Let me tell you what\u2019s going through Clinton\u2019s mind here when this happens. Okay, he gets this call from Obama, and Obama says, (paraphrasing) &#8216;Look, I want to come have lunch with you, I want you to come campaign for me.\u2019 <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125114.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"257\" class=\"alignright\"\/>Clinton bangs up the phone, says, (doing Clinton impression) &#8216;I just don\u2019t believe this, I had to go out there and stand side by side with my wife who is trying to feed off me, trying to build a career off mine, and now I gotta go out there and this guy wants to meet me, no doubt he\u2019s gonna ask me to go out there and campaign with him to get his acorns out of the fire \u2019cause this little guy cannot do it on his own. He\u2019s gonna rely on the professional, big time old Bill. I tell you what I\u2019m going to do. I\u2019m going to do it. And you know why I\u2019m gonna do it? Because the last thing I want and the last thing Hillary wants is for this little guy to win this election. It would be the worst thing could happen for her future and for mine. And so I\u2019m going to make him think I\u2019m going to help him out. But there\u2019s one thing that I know, I know that this pick of Sarah Palin, that babe from Alaska, has united the Republican Party. The last time they were this united was against me, and if it hadn\u2019t been for that little Ross Perot, I\u2019d have never been president. They hated my guts, and I\u2019ll tell you what, they\u2019re messing up, the way the Democrats are making these mistakes here saying all this crazy religious stuff. So I\u2019m going to go out there, and I know, the last thing I represent, standing there next to Obama, is the future. I\u2019m the past. They look at me as the past. There\u2019s nothing change about old Bill. Bill\u2019s what you see, what you get. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;So I\u2019m going to go out there and I\u2019m going to make Obama think I\u2019m helping him out. It\u2019s going to cost him big time. He\u2019s not going to know what hit him. I\u2019m going to be sandbagging, I\u2019m going to be sabotaging his campaign while Obama thinks I\u2019m helping, \u2019cause these Democrats still think that I am The Messiah, that I am the guy that still runs the party, and I\u2019m the savior, that\u2019s why they\u2019re coming to me. But what do I know? I know that every time I show up with Obama, or any time I show up anywhere, the Republican base gets even more unified, \u2019cause there isn\u2019t one Republican out there that\u2019s going to vote for me or going to vote for Obama because I\u2019m out there supporting him. And of course the idea I\u2019m going to somehow be able to get these women back, only Hillary can do that and I\u2019ve talked to Hillary about this, and she wants nothing to do with Obama. She\u2019s got to campaign for other Senate candidates, retire her debt out there, so I\u2019m actually glad they called me. &#8216;Hey, Bill, can you get my little acorns out of the fire?\u2019 said Obama, &#8216;because I can\u2019t do this on my own. It\u2019s a little bigger than I thought it was going to be.\u2019 So they come to me I\u2019m going to do it. I\u2019m going to make it look like I\u2019m having more fun than I\u2019ve ever had, like I\u2019m back in my element. But I know that my presence and some of the strategic things I\u2019m going to say, Republicans are going to show up in droves this election like they haven\u2019t shown up in years and Obama is going to be history forever.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Clinton and Obama had lunch today, and did you see the body language on this?
