RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How brilliant of you, not only to talk about September 11th like the left tells us that we can\u2019t, but to use it against them as you should and carefully outline their turpitude.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, thank you. If you\u2019re just joining us, I led off the program today with my thoughts on 9\/11, and then my thoughts since 9\/11. And I just recounted some of the highlights of the behaviors of the Democrats who are trying to undermine every effort we\u2019ve made to win the war in Iraq, or the war on terror, because I think it\u2019s important for people to remember. The reason I wanted to do it, Kelly, is I\u2019m working on the show this morning and I see on Fox, I think, some graphic, ‘Candidates Set Aside Politics for 9\/11.\u2019 Well, maybe they\u2019re going to set it aside, but I\u2019m not.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, did you hear Olbermann, how he shuts everybody down with his bitter hatred and makes it so everybody is afraid to talk about it, tie it in with politics. You even came on and said, ‘They tell us we can\u2019t talk about it. I\u2019m talking about it,\u2019 and it was brilliant, and we need to keep doing that to them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that, Kelly. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Come visit us in St. George! You could stay in my basement and visit us. I\u2019ll give you a massage at my business, Massage Envy.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, well, I appreciate that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Two-hour massage. Now, you\u2019ve got me interested here.<\/p>\n

RUSH: In your basement, did you say? Am I going to get the massage in your basement, did I hear?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no, no, no! I am a legit business called Massage Envy. I own a business.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, I could stay in your basement and then go to your business to get the massage?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Totally legit. It would be fabulous. It wouldn\u2019t cost you a dime, and you\u2019d get a good bowl of chili, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, it\u2019d rock.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s very kind of you. You know, as a powerful, influential member of the media I\u2019m used to people throwing freebies at me all the time. But this —<\/p>\n

CALLER: well, this would be different! It would be different and you would enjoy it and, you know, it would stand out, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) Thank you, Kelly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very, very much for that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Greetings from the People\u2019s Republic.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was originally calling about 9\/11. I will get to that. I just wanted to say it\u2019s an honor and a privilege, sir, and the best thing is the more they talk at this level of frenzy is better for the nation.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I agree. I totally agree.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to thank you for keeping remembrance of 9\/11 alive, because I really think there\u2019s a lot of people that don\u2019t fundamentally think back to that day and how different, we\u2019re still different, we\u2019re healing but we\u2019re a different country.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I think it\u2019s one of those things, people don\u2019t want to think about it if they don\u2019t have to. It was horrible. You know, we\u2019re Americans, and those things don\u2019t happen here. So we\u2019ve had a secure seven years. There hasn\u2019t been another attack; there hasn\u2019t even been an attempted attack. Well, there are a couple of them that were thwarted. We don\u2019t know how many others were thwarted. So if we don\u2019t have to think about it, we won\u2019t. That\u2019s why I wanted to remind people of the politics of this, since everybody seems to say that\u2019s off-limits today. Not to me it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t think so, either. I believe it was on this very show that I heard, wasn\u2019t there a poll taken at one point where it was like 35% of Democrats believe that 9\/11 was an inside job?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not just that Bush knew, but that he made it happen.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, and that was just two years ago.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. Can I make one more request?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, 30 seconds, if you can do it quickly.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great, if I could talk to someone off the air, I have a T-shirt that I\u2019d like to send you to look at that maybe you\u2019d like to add to your line just as a sample. It\u2019s an anti-global warming but it\u2019s very humorous and you could give me an address to send a sample to, that would be great.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019d love to, but if I do that we\u2019re going to get deluged and everybody on the phones is going to ask to do the same thing and the program is going to become cluttered with that. I appreciate it. If you work hard, you can find out where to send it. We\u2019re not hidden. Well, we are here, but we have a number of satellite EIB offices. If you work hard, you\u2019ll be able to find it. But he\u2019s right: 35% of Democrats thought it was an inside job. Bush knew, and if they thought that, that means that they believe Bush had to let it happen. That\u2019s Michael Moore — and that\u2019s also the lunatic, insane state of mind of 35% of the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. Hey, Rush, look, I want to touch very quickly on Obama and other politicians such as Murtha, Durbin, and the rest, you can name them, I can\u2019t because of my position obviously, but the fact that they are surprised at our success with regard to the surge in Iraq and the surprise that we are winning this war at all is extremely offensive, Rush, and I understand it, though, I understand that they think that we are the problem, that we Americans are the imperialists and the tyrants, but I\u2019ve got a message for them, sir, if you don\u2019t mind.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Go ahead.<\/p>\n

CALLER: On this day of 9\/11 where so many of my brothers have died and my sisters, we are not Rome, we do not Romanize. This is not Greece, and we are not Sparta. This is America. We are the purveyors and the keepers of the faith of freedom and democracy. Since the birth of our nation, Rush, all we have ever sought as a people is not some kind of cheap, negotiated, prostitute piece, but only liberty. True and prosperous peace, Rush, will follow liberty like a shadow, true and prosperous peace as you know is — it\u2019s liberty\u2019s child —<\/p>\n

RUSH: And freedom —<\/p>\n

CALLER: — her natural born child.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Freedom is worth any price. Look, I don\u2019t blame you sergeant for being upset at Obama and these other people taking shots, saying Iraq wasn\u2019t worth it. It\u2019s like saying what you do isn\u2019t worth it. We thank God for people like you, listen to you speak about what you do and how close to your heart it is, you\u2019re a special breed.
