CALLER: Hey, Rush. Mega Rush Baby first-time caller dittos from San Diego.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The only thing I have to say that I\u2019m more excited about than Sarah Palin is you, speaking to you today, but I\u2019ll get right to my point. America is getting a case study firsthand in seeing what it\u2019s like to be a young attractive professional woman today, and it\u2019s why the term feminism to so many in my generation is such a joke, because we\u2019re seeing firsthand, look at the sisterhood, who is tearing her down worse than anyone? Other women because she\u2019s an attractive woman who firsthand has had to work probably twice as hard —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, Jennifer, hang on just a second.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sure.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am so happy that you called. Because yesterday I made mention of the fact — and I did it very illustratively and I got some people upset with me, but I said that one of the reasons, one of the many reasons she\u2019s hated is rooted to my Undeniable Truth of Life Number 24, which is that feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society. And I said one of the reasons that she\u2019s hated is that she can wear skirts and get away with it among these old feminist lions, and that she\u2019s a babe. And I got, not a lot, but I got some people saying, ‘That\u2019s not helpful, that\u2019s just bad.\u2019 You just said that one of the reasons that the old sister feminists these days don\u2019t like her is \u2019cause she\u2019s attractive. Right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you stand by that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely, as someone who\u2019s experienced it firsthand, I\u2019ve had other so-called female coworker friends that told me the only reason I was getting ahead and getting a promotion was because the boss wanted to sleep with me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And that\u2019s why the feminists behind Hillary are so mad because here comes Obama, empty suit, but he\u2019s good-looking, smooth talker, and, you know, the feminist woman is stepped on again.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And you know something I was going to say to people, they don\u2019t need to worry about Sarah Palin and how she\u2019s handling this. This is a woman who has the nickname Barracuda and the left made the colossal mistake of going after her daughter. She\u2019s going to wipe the rug with them, Rush, and they\u2019re never going to see her coming.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That is so true. I mean, you can attack me, but you bring my kid into it and you\u2019re going to pay the price.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. And you know what, Rush, I\u2019ve never contributed to a campaign, the second she was named, I contributed, I\u2019m going to volunteer, I\u2019m going to have signs in my windows, and I can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Jennifer, I have to tell you something. It\u2019s amazing. I got home yesterday afternoon, and the mail was sitting there on my desk, and there was this personal note from McCain, or it looked like it on the envelope. So I opened it up and it was a solicitation from the Republican National Committee. I was so up, you know, the Palin business, all this, I, too, was thinking of sending them some money.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes. And I just have to say one last thing, Rush, I know my parents are listening. We\u2019re from Kansas City originally, and, you know, as the daughter of a strong mother and a father who introduced me to you back about 20 years ago, you know, I come from strong parents, I make strong decisions. At the end of the day, you have parents who support you like she supports those children, you\u2019re ahead, you\u2019ve got a firm standing, and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. What is she supposed to do, abandon them?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. And, you know, I get asked a lot because I am pro-life, and I get asked, ‘Well, you know, they just pay lip service to it.\u2019 I am so proud. Finally I have someone who is living it. And, you know, she\u2019s had to make that choice, and she loves those kids, and I am so proud and excited that she\u2019s here.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The role model fashion. We always hear that Hillary is a role model for women, but you\u2019re reacting to Sarah Palin in that regard.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And, you know what, they call her fire and ice, and she\u2019s doing this, she is so tough and strong, but she is a completely feminine person at the same time. And I see so much in her that I can admire about her. And I can\u2019t wait that the first female vice president is going to be a Republican.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I think it\u2019s exciting, too. I can\u2019t disagree with anything you\u2019ve said. In fact, some of the people that got mad at me on the comment that one of the reasons the feminist sisters don\u2019t like Sarah is because she can wear a skirt, nice ankles and so forth, doesn\u2019t have to hide it, slacks and so forth. Some of the people that got mad at me are themselves attractive women who constantly complain to me that other women hate \u2019em. And yet when I say it, ‘You can\u2019t say it.\u2019 They can feel it, they can have it happen, but when I say it, it somehow is too coarse. So I am thrilled that you backed me up.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely, Rush. This is truly been an honor for me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What do you do for a living, Jennifer?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know what, Rush I work for an energy company. I\u2019m in PR, so you can imagine out in San Diego trying to deal with your typical environmentalist. I come up against everyone. I get accused of lying, but I\u2019ve worked for three Fortune 500 companies, I\u2019ve dealt with it all, and, you know, for instance, the woman was in a beauty pageant. Do you know what your typical average beauty pageant is like? I mean this woman has survived and fought. She was a hockey player. She faces down moose. I mean, this is a tough lady, and she does it all, and I\u2019m somebody who has always been underestimated. They never see you coming. That\u2019s her biggest strength, not a weakness.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Exactly right. Somebody asked her about all these attacks on her and how she\u2019s going to deal with it. She said, ‘Do you know what the difference is between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.\u2019<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s right, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You sound like you could be her.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know what, that\u2019s why I\u2019m so excited. I finally see someone and I\u2019m so excited she\u2019s a Republican, because I think a lot of women like me are looking — you know, I happen to be 35, but to see someone like her, who has it all and doesn\u2019t fit a stereotypical mold as someone you\u2019re not. And, you know, that\u2019s the best decision that I\u2019ve seen McCain make. And, you know, I look at Obama, and everyone wants to talk about did he vet Sarah enough. Well, let\u2019s look at his decision. He had a guaranteed 18 million votes that he said no to. He didn\u2019t even give Hillary the courtesy of being vetted. I\u2019d say we\u2019ve seen the type of presidential decision he makes. <\/p>\n

RUSH: It couldn\u2019t have passed. The Clinton Library and Massage Parlor donors list could not have passed, they would have had to make it public. It wouldn\u2019t happen. The Democrats\u2019 real question is they didn\u2019t vet Obama.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly. And so I look at, they had victory at hand, and he flinched. When it comes to McCain he\u2019s making — in the last seven weeks, I\u2019ve seen so many great decisions, and then I look at when he was a POW and had the chance to come home, which, you know, I\u2019d like to think I would have been strong enough to make a decision to stay, he\u2019s got my vote, and with Sarah Palin on that ticket, I\u2019m so excited.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s great. It\u2019s great to hear from you. I understand how you can be in public relations, because you are very articulate, you sound very clean, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) <\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Longtime listener, first-time caller, who can very much relate to Sarah Palin — and her 17-year-old daughter, and I\u2019ll tell you why, to a 17-year-old also in a minute. But I am a God-fearing, Bible totin\u2019, gun huggin\u2019, deputy sheriff from North Carolina who\u2019s worked my way up.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Guns! Babies! Jesus! Badge!<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughs) <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughs)<\/p>\n

CALLER: I had six kids, and I\u2019m raising four of them. One is 30, and the youngest is 10. I have nine grandkids — and they\u2019re all Rush Babies, by the way — and funny nobody told me I was supposed to stay at home when my ex left. My kids tended to scream when they got hungry, and I went out and worked. I worked a career and raised those six kids. I skinned my own deer and I clean my own fish, but taught my daughter and my sons to do the same. So Sarah Palin and I have a lot in common.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, you do. By the way, as governor, she\u2019s the chief law enforcement officer. She\u2019s got a badge. Guns! Babies! Jesus! Badge! She does moose; you do fish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
