My friends, here is the speech thatBill Clinton really wanted to give last night:<\/line>“My fellow Democrats: I\u2019ve never been so ticked in my life. With gas and food prices soaring; a war we\u2019ve demonized; Hurricane Katrina; Cheney, Bush… and Republicans running an ol\u2019 wrinkled whiteguywho\u2019s half Democrat half the time — and theyput up this Obama fella?I mean, he couldn\u2019t win the general if you spotted him five points!<\/line><\/p>\n

And… don\u2019t any of you dare blame me! I set Hillary up on the ten-yard line– goal to go! She hadmore money than I ever had, and my legacy to run on– and she couldn\u2019t close the deal against a freshman running on ‘hope\u2019 and ‘change\u2019? She only had to remind everybody that I am ‘the Man from Hope\u2019– and how I changed the world, beating Republicans at every turn! I did it easy!<\/p>\n

Now I have to sit here, mouthing: ‘I love you,\u2019 while she brags about her historic run? Ain\u2019t no history worth having in losin\u2019! Nobody would even know her name if weren\u2019t for me. Even Limbaugh tried to pull it out for her! If I\u2019d had him behind me, I\u2019d still be president!<\/p>\n

This whole thing ispathetic! She can\u2019t even say she\u2019s a proud wife! And all my black friends are gone — after all I have done for you people?<\/p>\n

You know, when this is all over– and ya\u2019llcome back lookin\u2019 for advice from me? I\u2019m chargin\u2019 full price. Cause I will never– I tell you– never ever<\/emphasize> forget this!Good night and… I\u2019m warning you!”<\/p>\n
