RUSH: Here is Florence in Bandon, Oregon, you\u2019re next on the EIB Network. Hello. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi. I\u2019ve never heard before you, until May when I had to move and I had the radio, before I got my TV turned on. And you\u2019re the only one I can seem to get any real news from. I turn to the cable channels trying to find something out about Mr. Obama, and all I get is Mr. McCain being bashed all over the place. You know, I\u2019ve been a Democrat for almost 50 years, and this is the first time that I\u2019m not voting Democrat. I can\u2019t understand Mr. Obama. He walks all around a question that he\u2019s asked and then when he gets through you wonder, what did he say?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s just because you\u2019re apparently not smart enough in their eyes to understand his brilliance.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know, I don\u2019t really care how many homes Mr. McCain has or that he doesn\u2019t know. All I care about, as long as he doesn\u2019t ask me to pay his bills, I don\u2019t care how much he makes. Good luck to him. He\u2019s got all that money.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He doesn\u2019t have it; his wife does.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He\u2019s got a prenup, for crying out loud.<\/p>\n

CALLER: When I got married, I owned a home, too, in my own name, and my husband didn\u2019t even know I had it. <\/p>\n

RUSH: How many years ago was that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, that\u2019s been about 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that didn\u2019t happen 50 years ago.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I did it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Good for you. Good for you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, but, you know, you\u2019re the only one that really gives me any news that I can understand about these people.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m happy to hear you say that, because based on what you\u2019ve said, I value you as a credible consumer, making a choice. You know, you don\u2019t sound like you\u2019re excessively partisan one way or the other, you\u2019ve just been a lifelong Democrat, but you can listen to Obama say nothing and realize he\u2019s saying nothing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. And as far as his running mate for vice president, it sounds like he\u2019s going to be the president and not Obama.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, that\u2019s a good point because in a battle of egos here you\u2019ve got two giant egos, but I think Biden\u2019s is even bigger than Obama\u2019s, it\u2019s just Biden doesn\u2019t have The Messiah complex that Obama does.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, but I just wanted to thank you for all your information.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, thank you. I appreciate that, Florence. It\u2019s really great to hear from you. Thank you for taking the time to try to reach us.<\/p>\n
