CALLER: Hi, Rush! Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, ma\u2019am.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I have been a registered Democrat for at least 30 years, and if you had told me I\u2019d be listening —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You don\u2019t sound a day over 35 so I don\u2019t know how that could be.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles) Well, I am, but if you had told me a year ago, I\u2019d been listening to you, I would have said, ‘No way,\u2019 but I have been listening to you and Sean Hannity, and you guys have made a lot of sense, and I\u2019m glad I have listened. But my point today is they keep saying — I am a Hillary supporter and was a Hillary supporter — but they keep telling us that we\u2019re angry. Well, we\u2019re not angry. We just don\u2019t like Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But everything that we\u2019re hearing — we have our spies out there, Josette.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We have people that are closer than the Democrats think to what\u2019s going on inside the inner circles of their party, and there are some women who are fit to be tied. They are angry as hell because they think this is the last chance to see a female president in their lifetimes and they\u2019ve lived to see that kind of progress and emancipation. See, what\u2019s happened here is this unexperienced, inexperienced good-looking, well-sounding dweeb has once again come along and made the aging woman stay at the secretary desk —<\/p>\n

CALLER: And, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: — instead of getting the promotion. And they\u2019re mad about it, and they ought to be mad about it. I\u2019d be mad, too, if I was them.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I think you\u2019re right about some people. I\u2019m just not angry. I just see it as I see it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How can you stay a Democrat, then, if you\u2019re not angry?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, maybe I\u2019m not. Maybe I should switch tickets. I\u2019m thinking about being an independent next year, but I\u2019ve been watching this whole thing through and through and I saw the first interview with Michelle Obama.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second. You don\u2019t have to wait \u2019til next year. The Democrats will — well, I\u2019ll tell you. Not let you switch from Democrats.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m voting for John McCain this year, so I guess I have.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, okay. All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: All right. But I mean I saw the first interview with Michelle Obama, and she acted like she was inconvenienced to be the first lady instead of having it be an honor. I listened to the Reverend Wright tape, and that literally made the hair stand up on the back of my neck and that was it for me right now right there. So if you really pay attention he\u2019s not ready and he\u2019s not The One, and it doesn\u2019t have anything to do with being angry for me. It just has to do with picking right candidate.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Whatever. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n
