CALLER: Yes. Good afternoon, Mr. Limbaugh!<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s great to have you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. I\u2019m a Jewish, I\u2019m a Holocaust survivor, one of the last Holocaust survivors still alive. I spent 4-1\/2 years in a concentration camp during World War II.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow.<\/p>\n

\"\"CALLER: I believe that Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, is the emissary of The Messiah. I, being Jewish… I\u2019m not religious, but I don\u2019t believe in The Messiah. The Jews are waiting for The Messiah for the past 5,000 years. The Christians are waiting for The Messiah for the past 2,000 years. And how many people came alive and passed away and did not see or hear from The Messiah? Therefore, I don\u2019t believe it. But yet, President Donald Trump is the emissary. He came now to this time —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey, Ron, that\u2019s pretty cool. You don\u2019t believe in The Messiah but Trump is the emissary.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh, somehow —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you don\u2019t believe The Messiah has yet shown up because there are so many people that have lived and died expecting to see The Messiah and there hasn\u2019t been one.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The Jews are praying five times a day that The Messiah will come in their lifetime.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ron?<\/p>\n

CALLER: The Christians are praying that The Messiah would come in their lifetime.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate what you\u2019re saying. I have a question for you. I fully appreciate — and I mean appreciate — what you\u2019re saying about Donald Trump as the emissary. My question is this: If The Messiah showed up today, would anybody believe it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t think so. Because today, with the electronic technology, you can have all kind of voices, sound, and the faces made up that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I don\u2019t —<\/p>\n

CALLER: “Hey, I don\u2019t believe you!” (crosstalk)<\/p>\n

\"\"RUSH: I don\u2019t… (crosstalk) No, no, no, no. I don\u2019t mean that. I mean if somebody showed up and claimed to be The Messiah and we assume would have ways of proving it, would he be believed — or she? I will guaran-damn-tee you, no way. The Democrat Party would be the first group trying to undermine whoever The Messiah is, and all their various constituency groups, \u2019cause there\u2019s no way the Christians could be right, and then…<\/p>\n

I mean, it would start… I asked myself this, if The Messiah were gonna show up, what would he or she do to convince everybody. Let me ask this, folks, speaking of The Messiah. Do you…? In the midst of really controversial subjects, debates, periods, eras, wherever, are you confident — do you believe — that there is a final authority somewhere who would be able to answer what\u2019s right and what\u2019s wrong on virtually any controversial question?<\/p>\n

Stop and think. In the entire population of the world, the human population of the world, there\u2019s not one person who could be trusted to be the final authority. You know the closest we have to it is the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the closest we have in American politics to a so-called final authority. In other words, what they say is what everybody acknowledges “is.” Do you find it fascinating then that of how many billions and billions and billions of people out there, there is no final authority?<\/p>\n

There isn\u2019t anyone with the level of trust and acknowledgment, believability, what have you. Nobody. Now, I know. I know you are saying, “Yes, there is, Rush: Jesus Christ.” I understand all that. I\u2019m talking about earthly life right now. “Well, it\u2019s impossible, Rush. That\u2019s what God is, and…” Yeah, well, I understand that too. But what a mess. No final authority. Nobody with the power to persuade everybody. Nobody! Stop and think of that, and then put it in context of solving things. But I understand what you\u2019re saying, Ron. I do. It\u2019s the way he\u2019s showing his appreciation for Trump as the genuine, true defender of Israel and related matters, Jewish people and so forth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
