And they posted video of several of their activists and their children confronting DiFi &#8212; actually in her San Francisco office &#8212; about the Green New Deal.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the video I\u2019ve seen, I think these are all kids. I don\u2019t know that there are parents here. I think we\u2019ve got 16- to 18-year-old kids and then some younger ones. But I may be wrong about that. There have been references to parents in some of this, but I\u2019m not sure. But it\u2019s largely just a bunch of kids. And we have a couple of bites here. The first one, this is one exchange between an unidentified boy and girl and what is called an unidentified woman. I don\u2019t know if there\u2019s anybody over 18 in this group. But for whatever it\u2019s worth, this is how it began.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-300918\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>CHILD: We are trying to ask you to vote &#8220;yes&#8221; on the Green New Deal.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: And please.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: Okay. I\u2019ll tell you what. We have our own Green New Deal.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: Some scientists have said that we have 12 years to turn this around.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: The government is supposed to \u2013<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: Well, it\u2019s not gonna get turned around in 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: The government is supposed to \u2013<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: What we can do &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>ADULT: Senator, if this doesn\u2019t get turned around in 10 years you\u2019re looking at the faces of the people who are gonna be living with the consequences.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: The government is supposed to be for the people and by the people and all for the people.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: You know what\u2019s interesting about this group, is I\u2019ve been doing this for 30 years. I know what I\u2019m doing. You come in here and you say it has to be my way or the highway. I don\u2019t respond to that. I\u2019ve gotten elected. I just ran. I was elected by almost a million vote plurality. And I know what I\u2019m doing. So, you know, maybe people should listen a little bit.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eIebWywFfNw\" width=\"640\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\">&lt;span data-mce-type=&#8221;bookmark&#8221; style=&#8221;display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;&#8221; class=&#8221;mce_SELRES_start&#8221;&gt;\ufeff&lt;\/span&gt;<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Now, on the one hand, I totally understand her frustration, and I like it. On the other hand, she is helping create this! Do you hear these robotic little kids? These kids are not old enough to think or know anything. They are plenty old enough to have absorbed like sponges and be able to repeat it. Look, I\u2019m not exaggerating. This is scary, scary stuff to me because it shows you that we are up against a bunch of indoctrination and propagandizing, not education. And here are young kids who, whether you think they know what they\u2019re talking about or not, they think 10 years, 12 years, they think that\u2019s it. They think she\u2019s not doing enough.<\/p>\n<p>Why did they target Dianne Feinstein? Why not find some Republican to storm into? Why did they go after Dianne Feinstein? I want to play this again. And now that you\u2019ve heard it once, I want you to listen &#8212; we started out with the young boy, then the young girl, and the young girl says, &#8220;Some scientists have said that we have 12 years to turn this around.&#8221; And Feinstein tries to say, \u201cWell, it\u2019s not gonna get that bad. And it\u2019s not gonna get turned around in 10 years. We can\u2019t fix this in 10 years. What we can do \u2013\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Senator, if this doesn\u2019t get turned around in 10 years, you\u2019re looking at the faces of the people that are gonna be living with the consequences.&#8221; They\u2019re storming into Democrat senators\u2019 offices with this stuff! I tell you, you go back to when you\u2019re 6 to 8 years old and you\u2019re over at Nanaw, Papaw\u2019s house, wherever, your grandparents. Let\u2019s make you 10 or 12, whatever, and you\u2019re telling Nanaw, Papaw, everything you know. Did your Nanaw and Papaw ever say, &#8220;Kid, you don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about. Do you know who I am? I\u2019ve been alive 70 years. You don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about. I don\u2019t respond to people like that.&#8221; This is how she\u2019s treating these kids!<\/p>\n<p>Believe me, one half of me loves this because it is pushback, but this is the party that\u2019s for the children. Everything is for the children. And you can tell, she has got no time for \u2019em. You might say she\u2019s being somewhat patient. I don\u2019t. I think to try to tell 8-year-olds how important you are, to have to tell 12-year-olds how important you are and how long you\u2019ve been doing it. Dianne Feinstein does not know how to talk to people, and what you must be to be offended by a 12-year-old. Have you ever been offended by a 12-year-old, Dawn?<\/p>\n<p>Has a 12-year-old ever offended you? I\u2019ve been at homes, friends\u2019 homes, they have like a 5- or 6-year-old kid, \u201cYou\u2019re fat. Has anybody ever told you &#8211;&#8221; It doesn\u2019t offend me. It\u2019s a kid! Well, they wouldn\u2019t say it today, but I mean back in the days where it was true, it was said, but Dianne Feinstein\u2019s taking it personally here and reacting to this by giving these kids the what-for. This is same situation in her office in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>TEEN: I hear what you are saying, but we\u2019re the people who voted for you. You\u2019re supposed to listen to us. That\u2019s your job.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: How old are you?<\/p>\n<p>TEEN: I\u2019m 16. I can\u2019t vote.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: Well, you didn\u2019t vote for me. (group crosstalk)<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: It doesn\u2019t matter, we\u2019re the ones who are getting impacted. It doesn\u2019t matter, we\u2019re going to be the ones who are impacted!<\/p>\n<p>TEEN: But you represent&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: I understand that.<\/p>\n<p>TEEN: &#8230; all the people in your district.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: I have seven grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>TEEN: &#8230;whether they voted for you or not.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: I understand it very well.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: All right. Here we go. It\u2019s a 16-year-old girl here who says, \u201cLook, I hear what you\u2019re saying, but we\u2019re the people who voted for you. You\u2019re supposed to listen to us. That\u2019s your job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She says, \u201cHow old are you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m 16. I can\u2019t vote.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Feinstein says, \u201cWell, you didn\u2019t vote for me.\u201d Meaning, I don\u2019t have to listen to you. Ha-ha-ha. You didn\u2019t vote for me. Who the hell are you? You know, you didn\u2019t pay me. I don\u2019t have to listen to you. You didn\u2019t make a donation to my campaign. Who do you think you are? I don\u2019t have to listen to you. I\u2019m the senator. I\u2019m the one who knows this stuff. I\u2019m the one that\u2019s been doing it. You don\u2019t know diddly-squat. Who do you think you are coming in here telling me how government works?<\/p>\n<p>But notice what they think government of the people, by the people, for the people means. They have no concept of representative republican government. They have no concept. They don\u2019t know what of, by, and for the people means. They think it means they get their way. And, if they don\u2019t get their way, then they get to be acting like spoiled kids, and they start getting to shout and proclaim things.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter. We\u2019re the ones that will be impacted. Doesn\u2019t matter. Doesn\u2019t matter. We\u2019re the ones who are gonna be impacted.\u201d So they\u2019re scared to death. Whoever the adults are that have been in charge of these kids, look at how they\u2019re literally scaring them to death. Who does that? I maintain to you our buddies on the American left. Kids, anybody else, scare the hell out of \u2019em. One more bite from the Sunrise Movement storming the San Francisco offices of U.S. senator from California, Dianne Feinstein.<\/p>\n<p>ADULT: Senator, the cost of not taking this action is far higher than the cost of what the Green New Deal will be, and there is enormous popularity for this bill around the whole country and we\u2019re asking you to be brave and do this for us and for your grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-300957\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids-2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-022519-DiFi-and-Climate-Kids-2-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: I\u2019m trying to do the best I can, which was to write a responsible resolution.<\/p>\n<p>ADULT: Any plan that doesn\u2019t take bold, transformative action, is not gonna be what we need.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: We need your leadership.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: Well, you know better than I do. So I think one day you should run for the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>CHILD: Great, I will.<\/p>\n<p>FEINSTEIN: And then you do it your way.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: She said you know more than I do, screw you, kid, run for the Senate, get your own job someday and do what you want to do. For now, get the hell off my office. Haven\u2019t got any more time for you. Can\u2019t talk to you anyway. You\u2019re a robot.<\/p>\n<p>This is breaking down on the left, folks. And this is a microcosm of the pressures that all of these Democrat presidential candidates are gonna be under. The ones running for office are gonna respond to entreaties like this from these programmed teenagers. And who do you think is programming them? Is it their parents? Is it their teachers? Is it the media, a combination of all of these things? But how many of you have laughed or not believed me or thought I was exaggerating when I told you that I know a bunch of young people scared to death the earth is not going to be habitable when they\u2019re 65? Do not doubt me on this. This is exactly what they think.<\/p>\n<p>Now, actually it is more what they feel, which is actually the key to it. They\u2019re not thinking about this at all. From the Sunrise Movement website. Who we are: \u201cSunrise is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process. We\u2019re building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and well-being of all people. We are ordinary young people who are scared about what the climate crisis means for the people and places we love. We are gathering in classrooms, living rooms, and worship halls across the country. Everyone has a role to play. Public opinion is already with us &#8212; if we unite by the millions we can turn this into political power and reclaim our democracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how they describe themselves, the Sunrise Movement, the radical movement behind this, that\u2019s how they describe themselves on their website. I just want to reiterate something here. The whole idea that the activity of human beings in the United States is destroying the climate of this planet is pure folly. There is no science that says so. There\u2019s nothing but computer models that have been around predicting this since the 1970s. And it alternates between global cooling and global warming and now climate change is meant to encompass and include every act of inclement weather that they can toss into it.<\/p>\n<p>But the idea that we are in the middle of a man-made climate phase that will lead to the near destruction of the planet is just pure BS. And even more so if you use these people\u2019s reasoning. Fossil fuels. CO2 emissions. We\u2019re doing so much better in reducing CO2 emissions. We\u2019re doing so much better in cleaning up the messes that we make, cleaning up our pollution. We\u2019re doing far better than the ChiComs. We\u2019re doing far better than the nation of India is doing. They are literally putting CO2 into the atmosphere like crazy, and it\u2019s not resulting in any warming!<\/p>\n<p>The whole thing, folks, is a bought-and-paid-for left-wing agenda item to promote socialism and communism and gigantic government control over everybody. It\u2019s all this is. And it\u2019s classic. They have been trying this in earnest since the 1980s. And they\u2019ve not been able to get a foothold in this. So now they\u2019ve made a move directly on kids, and they have indoctrinated a bunch of kids and turned them into an army.<\/p>\n<p>But the whole thing &#8212; I still cringe when people on our side start debating this in terms of science, because that is akin to accepting the premise. And the premise is bogus. The idea that we can control the weather, the idea that we can control the planet, the idea that we can damage the climate. The idea that we can damage it beyond repair. The idea that we can take action to improve it or make it worse is absolute folly. We haven\u2019t the power.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t have anywhere near the power to be able to affect something as complex and almost impossible to calculate as the climate! We don\u2019t know what the norm for this planet is. We haven\u2019t been alive long enough to know. There are not records from the first days of the earth to the present for us to have an idea of what the norm is! Isn\u2019t it the height of vanity to assume that at that moment in the history of the universe, our tiny little speck of sand moment on it, that this is when everything is normal and as it should be and any variation from this is a catastrophe?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-285430\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ZZ-APP-Rush-EIB-004.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ZZ-APP-Rush-EIB-004.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ZZ-APP-Rush-EIB-004-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>How do we know? How do we know that the earth\u2019s normal climate is not much cooler than this or much warmer? How do we know? We don\u2019t know. We have no way of knowing because we don\u2019t have any records back beyond the 1800s that are reliable, and even those are not. We have no idea. We\u2019ve got all these former ice ages and then with the Roman warming period and a glacier warming period and the urban Indian warming period and we have the El Nino cooling period.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know what we\u2019re talking about. We have no empirical data that can prove this claim. Zilch, zero, nada. But the idea just intellectually, the idea that American progress, that improving and increasing the American standard of living is destroying the planet, who in the world would benefit from that? The idea that the greatest standard of living anywhere in the world, the best conditions for humanity anywhere in the world, the envy of the world everywhere in the world, that\u2019s the place where the destruction of the planet is occurring? The United States of America? It\u2019s beyond fatuous. It\u2019s beyond absurd. And the fact that it has acquired as many believers as it has proves that it is nothing more than a political issue.
