The country stinks. (interruption) He did, Rachel. Don\u2019t give me that look. Rachel\u2019s in for Dawn today. He said, &#8216;My country\u2019s not what it once was.\u2019 I\u2019m sitting there saying, &#8216;When was it better? When was it better, Barry? After all of 143 days in the Senate, you tell us, Barry, when it\u2019s been better.\u2019 So he puts down his country. Then yesterday in Norfolk, Virginia, Michelle Obama visited a second-grade classroom, and after reading a book to the kids, Michelle Obama asked them if there were any messages that they wanted her to pass on to her husband, The Messiah. Listen to this exchange that she had with an unidentified seven-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125110.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright\"\/>MICHELLE (MY BELLE) OBAMA: What do you think?<\/p>\n<p>LITTLE BOY: Well, I think that we should finish what we started in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE (MY BELLE) OBAMA: (pause) &#8216;Finish what we started in I-raq.\u2019 Okay, I will pass that along.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, did it sound like she&#8230;? Could you hear what the little boy said? It\u2019s kind of dicey. Let me &#8212; let me reeled what the little boy said. Michelle Obama: &#8216;What do you think?\u2019 Little boy: &#8216;Well, I think that we should finish what we started in Iraq.\u2019 There was a little silence from Michelle (My Belle), and she said, &#8221;Finish what we started in I-raq.\u2019 I pass that along.\u2019 Here is a seven-year-old who has more maturity than The Messiah! I\u2019ll never forget this. I went down to Shreveport, Louisiana, some years ago. I was like asked to speak at an annual fundraiser that the PGA Tour\u2019s Hal Sutton and David Toms do. They\u2019re trying to build the equivalent of a St. Jude\u2019s Children Hospital in Shreveport, and they do this golf outing every year, and David Toms got up and was giving a few remarks before I got up and gave my stellar standing-O remarks, and he was talking about a conversation he had with his son. At some point in his career some things were not going well and he was not practicing as much and so forth, and he said his son said to him, &#8216;Dad, why don\u2019t you finish what you started?\u2019 So I guess Toms is raising his kids to, &#8216;Finish what you start. Don\u2019t start it if you\u2019re not going to finish it.\u2019 So here\u2019s a seven-year-old: finish what we started in Iraq. And Michelle (My Belle), you know, she\u2019s probably expecting some question about SpongeBob SquarePants, and she gets &#8216;Finish what you started in Iraq.\u2019 Here, play the bite again, and now that you know the little kid\u2019s in there, gauge Michelle (My Belle)\u2019s reaction. <\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE (MY BELLE) OBAMA: What do you think?<\/p>\n<p>LITTLE BOY: Well, I think that we should finish what we started in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>MICHELLE (MY BELLE) OBAMA: (pause) &#8216;Finish what we started in I-raq.\u2019 Okay, I will pass that along.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Let\u2019s go back. Wednesday, Elkhart, Indiana, campaign event, Barack Obama. A seven-year-old little girl says, &#8216;Why did you start running for president?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: America, uh, is &#8212; is no longer, uh, what it &#8212; it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, &#8216;I don\u2019t want that future for my children.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Our children want you to &#8216;finish what we started in Iraq\u2019!
