RUSH: Colorado Springs, Jennifer. You\u2019re next on the EIB Network. Great to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, Rush, you might change your mind about that. I\u2019m kind of angry. All these accolades that you\u2019re receiving are literally making me sick. And, in fact, my doctor, believe it or not, actually may be tongue-in-cheek, but wrote me a prescription for lowering my blood pressure. And that is, is that I listen at your program as infrequently as possible because in reality you are the one who believes that you are The Messiah, not Obama, and what\u2019s more, you\u2019re very sexist, you\u2019re very sexist. You think that the Democrats are sexist and racist. You are absolutely the epitome of sexism. You want to know why I think that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not really, because you\u2019re wrong. I don\u2019t like to hear people tell me why they believe something when they\u2019re dead wrong. If you\u2019re really suffering high blood pressure, why are you even listening?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, maybe I\u2019m a masochist and I can\u2019t help myself, I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t think that\u2019s what it is. I think you\u2019re constantly enraged and angry, and you need reasons to stay that way, and —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ll tell you why —<\/p>\n

RUSH: — I fill the bill.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — I\u2019m constantly enraged, because every day it seems that you find a way by innuendo or any other means to put women down.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s not by innuendo, I do it directly. I put down liberals. If they happen to be women, I put \u2019em down. There\u2019s no innuendo about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Can I give you an example of your direct comments?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019d love to hear.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Do you recall your comment, I think it was about three months ago, you were talking about Hillary when she was running against Obama. You said that women are trying to move into a man\u2019s world. If you had said that about Obama or a black person, you\u2019d be off the air now, you\u2019d absolutely be off the air —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second, why would I be off the air if I\u2019d accused Obama of moving into a man\u2019s world?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, listen, if it were the same thing, if you accused Obama of moving into a white man\u2019s world, you would be off the air.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, oh. That would never even occur to me. There are black politicians all over the country, as there are female politicians, but the presidency up \u2019til now has been a man\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, you\u2019re not doing anything to change that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What\u2019s the big deal? Hillary puts her pants on one leg at a time like all the other guys do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Why are you bothered by this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: See, ‘like all the other guys do\u2019?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: This is something I\u2019ve been wanting to ask you for a long time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ask away.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Why is it that you always call Hillary Clinton Mrs. Clinton, and you never give her the respect of calling her Senator Clinton? Are you trying to demean her?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I do call her Senator Clinton sometimes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I listen to you practically every day, which is why I have high blood pressure, and I have never heard you —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, you need to go take a test. There\u2019s something not right here about you, Jennifer.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, what\u2019s not right about you is I think you\u2019re insecure —<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no, no — Jennifer, I\u2019m trying — Jennifer, please, I\u2019m trying to help you —<\/p>\n

CALLER: How many women have rejected you, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Women love me, Jennifer, you had better get used to this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and this is your way of leveling the playing field.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t believe a playing field can be leveled, Jennifer, see, I am based in reality. But Jennifer, my concern for you is that you may die listening to this program from high blood pressure, and you can turn it off. You may be committing a slow form of suicide here on purpose. That\u2019s not right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hm-hm. I know it. I know it. I don\u2019t always listen to my doctor, either, so, you know, I don\u2019t listen to you —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re a woman. You don\u2019t listen to men, period.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh. Well, men don\u2019t listen to women, so there\u2019s equality right there.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ve listened to everything that you\u2019ve said.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh. And you\u2019ve had sexist reaction to it, too. I enjoy it. This is my first opportunity to talk to you. I\u2019m really happy I got through. I really am.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m glad you did, too. But I\u2019m worried.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Could I say one more thing? I\u2019m in the Colorado Springs area, but I listen to KOA radio in Denver, and you are a topic of conversation almost daily and women are calling in and talking about your sexism and the phenomenon of your Dittohead women calling in and treating you as if they love you, following your sexist remarks. It doesn\u2019t make sense.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ll tell you, the real sexism in this country was on display in the Democrat primaries, and it was aimed at Mrs. Clinton by Democrats. The real racism in this country was on display in the Democrat primaries aimed from the Clintons to Obama. I helped Hillary Clinton. Operation Chaos. I kept her in the race. If you listen to this program as often as you say, you would know that I did everything I could to help her, and did. Operation Chaos was so important it\u2019s now the subject of academic study. Jennifer, I appreciate the phone call. I\u2019m glad you waited and you got through, too. But I am worried. You\u2019re the first caller ever who has admitted you\u2019re a masochist. This is unhealthy. I think you need to lighten up a little bit. What you think is sexism is simply me poking fun at liberals, which of course that has been taboo for a long time. But I must go because it\u2019s time for a windfall profit time-out. Be back right after this. Stay with us.<\/p>\n

It looks like it\u2019s from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. ‘Hillary Clinton\u2019s newest tactic to pay off her remaining campaign debt involves ‘dinner under the stars.\u2019 Clinton\u2019s campaign launched a contest — contributors are automatically entered — and the grand prize is a dinner for you and a guest with Clinton herself. ‘This is my first chance to sit down and spend some real one-on-one time with you. If you enter today, we could be having dinner together soon!” she said in an e-mail. There is a second prize, and that is you get to have two dates with Hillary. Just kidding.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Tom in Knoxville, we got about a minute here, and I wanted to get you on, and I thank you for waiting.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, Rush, dittos from east Tennessee. Let me be the voice of reason here in the listening audience. I think it was Jennifer a few calls back accusing you of being sexist. You know, either she doesn\u2019t listen often or really doesn\u2019t have the discernment to pick up. I obviously don\u2019t know you, but I think a lot of what you do is tongue-in-cheek, and so I just wanted to echo that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I appreciate it. Jennifer. He\u2019s referring to a woman, ladies and gentlemen, a sad case. It was a very troubling call for me. A woman admitted that she had to take high blood pressure medicine prescribed by her doctor because she listened to this program, and she couldn\u2019t stop listening because she hated it so much. She needed the agitation, the irritation. That led her to needing blood pressure medicine. It\u2019s a slow form of suicide that she was committing, and it was clear — she was in Colorado Springs, it was clear — that Jennifer had no sense of humor, and certainly no appreciation for satire, particularly when the satire and the humor is directed at liberals. She accused me of being sexist and that it just infuriated her. So this is what Tom is calling about, to point out that she was just wound really, really tight. She didn\u2019t have any sense of humor. But it was more troubling than that for me.
