Tom Cotton unloaded on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s Green New Deal and said the media were ‘complicit\u2019 in burying the most radical parts of the deal.”<\/p>\n
Cotton was on the radio “on Tuesday and discussed the widely ridiculed Green New Deal that aims to implement sweeping changes across the nation. For her part, Ocasio-Cortez has called the Green New Deal ‘a life-and-death issue\u2019 and has attacked the Republican Party on climate change.”\u00a0 In a classic example of fearmongering! These people — and Cotton\u2019s right. \u00a0This is Stalinist-like tactics, not just from the media but from the left in general.<\/p>\n

“U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, (Democrat-New Jersey), had a fiery exchange with a reporter on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when asked to comment on the Green New Deal.\u00a0 Henry Rodgers, the Daily Caller\u2019s Capitol Hill reporter, approached the senator at a subway station and asked him if he supported Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s legislative proposal.\u00a0 Menendez avoided the question and asked where Rodgers worked.<\/p>\n
“Rodgers said that when he told Menendez he worked for the Daily Caller, the Democrat responded by saying he would not answer any questions. An intern who was with Rodgers asked a follow-up question, and tensions … rose. ‘I am wondering why you won\u2019t answer questions on the Green New Deal?\u2019 Rodgers asked.\u00a0 ‘I won\u2019t answer questions to the Daily Caller, period! You\u2019re trash,\u2019 Menendez responded.\u00a0 ‘Why do you think we\u2019re trash, sir?\u2019 the reporter followed.<\/p>\n
