Ralph Northam, he doesn\u2019t even think the Democrats really want him to quit. He thinks they\u2019re just sayin\u2019 it \u2019cause they have to. That\u2019s what he thinks. He thinks they don\u2019t really want him gone, and he thinks they don\u2019t really want his lieutenant governor to sit in in the governor\u2019s chair if they\u2019re forcing him out. So he\u2019s gonna hang on!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So he\u2019s gonna hang on, \u2019cause ain\u2019t no way ain\u2019t no way some Amos &#8216;n\u2019 Andy thing back in high school is gonna force him out when Donald Trump is sitting there in Oval Office after Stormy Daniels and Access Hollywood. Ol\u2019 Ralph Northam ain\u2019t leaving!&#8221; If they want to get Ralph Northam gone, stop all this blackface high school stuff and focus on what he said about killing babies after they\u2019re born. (paraphrased) &#8220;Yeah, you make them comfortable, give \u2019em a pill, whatever you do to make an infant comfortable, and then you zap it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what Ralph Northam said. That\u2019s what they covered up. Well, Steve Moore was on CNN brought this up. We have here Erin Burnett, we have Keith Boykin, we have April Ryan. So we got three people against one here, if you count the CNN infobabe, and listen to what happens. This is about a one-minute sound bite. Listen to what happens when Steve Moore brings up what old Ralph Northam from Virginia really, really did&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: I know.<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: (crosstalk) This was medical school and he was 25. He was an adult, right, as April pointed out?<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: Let me just make one other quick &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MRC TV video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/embed\/536751\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>MOORE: &#8212; quick point if I may, \u2019cause I live in Virginia, so I follow Virginia politics. And, you know, he was&#8230; This&#8230; You want to talk about a politician who has had a bad week? I mean, y-y-you kind of didn\u2019t exactly report what happened this week when&#8230; Uh, I think it was quoted as, uh, &#8220;relaxed abortion restrictions.&#8221; I mean, this was basically a bill that he supported &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: (sighs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Hang on.<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: &#8212; that literally allowed&#8230; I mean, almost literally allows an abortion up until the time you c-cut the umbilical cord.<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: This is not the point, Steve.<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: Okay. But I &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: This is not the point. I don\u2019t want to get into the debate about abortion.<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: Okay, but that &#8212; but that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: What he said was confusing.<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: But he\u2019s under assault &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: &#8212; for that, too, and I would make the case that was an even offense than &#8212; than this picture.<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: Well you &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BURNETT: Okay, well now you just&#8230; Now, y&#8230; (sputtering)<\/p>\n<p>RYAN: Let\u2019s talk about &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: Well, Steve &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RYAN: No! N-n-no, no, no, no, no!<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: Well, Steve&#8230; (sputtering)<\/p>\n<p>RYAN: We\u2019re going too far.<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: Steve, we\u2019re going to talk about the issue of racism and, yeah, I know you would like to divert the issue to conversations more comfortable for you about abortion or something. But the reality is &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>MOORE: No, I&#8230; (crosstalk) It\u2019s just&#8230; This is contemptible.<\/p>\n<p>BOYKIN: &#8212; this is about race. See what happened? They all&#8230; I mean, they all at the same time, &#8220;Ah, ah, ah! &#8230; No, no, no! We\u2019re not gonna talk about that! Oh, no, we\u2019re not going there we\u2019re not gonna talk about abortion. Oh, no, no, no! We don\u2019t want that! No! That\u2019s confusing to people. We don\u2019t&#8230; That &#8212; that&#8230; We\u2019re not gonna allow that! We\u2019re going too far. W-w-w-w-we\u2019re going allow that! What you\u2019re trying to get out of talking about racism you want to bring up abortion we\u2019re not gonna&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They could not they could not let Moore speak uninterrupted about what Ralph Northam\u2019s real offense here is, and his real offense is not that he thinks what he thinks. It\u2019s not that his idea is (impression), &#8220;If the mother wants to abort the child even after the child has been born, then that\u2019s fine. That\u2019s fine, we\u2019ll make the infant comfortable, and then we\u2019ll bring in a doctor or nurse or whatever,&#8221; because that\u2019s what they believe. Don\u2019t doubt me.<\/p>\n<p>New York State Senate has applauded this very aspect. So they\u2019re trying use this blackface business and the yearbook stuff to make sure it doesn\u2019t get reported what he really let out of the bag &#8212; and he didn\u2019t &#8220;misspeak,&#8221; folks. He gave up the ghost, so to speak, because they\u2019ve also said abortion is a freedom issue, women\u2019s rights issue, woman right to choose, do with her body whatever. It\u2019s not. It\u2019s about killing wantonly whenever somebody wants to, and that\u2019s what they\u2019re trying to make sure nobody hears again.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: See, in a decent and sane world, ladies and gentlemen, it\u2019s no longer just about a woman\u2019s body when there\u2019s another one. When there\u2019s another body, right? We\u2019re talking post-birth now. (Northam impression) &#8220;You can\u2019t tell a woman what to do with her own body here in Virginia. I\u2019m governor Ralph Northam.&#8221; Well, what about the baby body there? &#8220;Well, the mama she still has control over that baby on whether she wanted it to get born or not.&#8221; Okay. You go ahead and make the case. Keep making the case. They\u2019re trying to cover that up, though. Do not doubt me.<\/p>\n<p>The story from CNN: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/02\/04\/politics\/northam-racist-photo\/index.html\">Embattled Northam Tells Cabinet He Won\u2019t Resign And Be Known As &#8216;A Racist For Life.<\/a>\u2019\u201d (Northam impression) \u201cAnd so that ain\u2019t happening, bro, I ain\u2019t quitting. Nobody gonna tag me as a racist for life. Ain\u2019t happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-298620\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam-99.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam-99.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam-99-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>That\u2019s why you\u2019re not quitting? You\u2019re worried about being tagged a racist? Why? You\u2019re not worried about being tagged Kermit Gosnell II. You\u2019re not worried about what you\u2019re doing and advocating when it comes to life and death of human infants, but, man, I can\u2019t have people think of me in that blackface photo the rest of my life. Hey, Robert Byrd managed to do it. He\u2019s a Democrat. He was a grand Kleagle in the Klan! He ended up being heap big praised by the Democrats all the time, Ralph. You\u2019re not gonna be tagged as a racist in your own party. The Democrats aren\u2019t gonna do that. They aren\u2019t gonna sully the whole party by acknowledging there\u2019s this massive George Wallace type version 2019 running around.<\/p>\n<p>Polling data says that Ralph Northam\u2019s approval rating has nose-dived amid racist photo. You don\u2019t think that his polling data may have nosedived because of his stated belief that making the baby comfortable and killing it after birth had some impact on this? \u201cDisgraced Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam approval rating\u2019s taken a nosedive since his unearthed medical school yearbook page was revealed, according to a \u2013&#8221; It\u2019s a Morning Consult poll. \u201cForty-eight percent of Virginia voters were dissatisfied with the way Northam was doing his job. It was up from a previous poll just 26% of Virginia voters disapproved of Northam\u2019s job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It says here that Northam\u2019s approval rating is even slipping among Democrats. Only 50% of Democrats in the poll said they approved of Northam after the photo debacle compared with the 70% of Democrats who favored him before the scandal. See, there\u2019s not a thing in here about Ralph Northam\u2019s actual opinion on post-birth abortion. \u201cThe Virginia Democrat\u2019s approval ratings among Republicans and independents is even worse. A whopping 73% of Republicans surveyed said they disapprove of Northam\u2019s performance. And 43% of independents said that they were dissatisfied with the way he had been doing his job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I have to wonder how many of the people who\u2019ve been polled have even heard about his abortion comments. &#8216;Cause they\u2019re not mentioned in this poll. I\u2019m telling you, folks, the media and the Drive-Bys are doing everything they can, the Democrats as well, to cover up what Northam actually said. In fact, this yearbook business may be the cover-up. They had to come up with something.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-298597\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/APP-020419-Northam-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now, the story we got was that a disgruntled Northam friend or med school friend or doctor associate was so appalled by what Northam said about post-birth abortion that that person leaked all this yearbook stuff. Well, the yearbook stuff is actually serving as a fabulous cover-up for this guy\u2019s comments on abortion. And that\u2019s why he\u2019s sitting there saying if he can just survive this five days&#8230; And if he\u2019s telling himself that the Democrats really don\u2019t want him to quit &#8212; in other words, everybody\u2019s playing a game here.<\/p>\n<p>The Democrats are saying what they think the American people want to hear. \u201cIn our party? We can\u2019t have some guy running around as Michael Jackson moonwalking. We can\u2019t have one of these guys.\u201d That\u2019s everybody saying what they\u2019re supposed to say, but they don\u2019t mean it. Northam thinks they don\u2019t mean it. They just want him to survive this. &#8216;Cause I\u2019m tell you, I\u2019ve said this a couple times. I\u2019m gonna tell you again.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s frosting the Democrats in this, I will guarantee you, is that Trump survived Access Hollywood and all the other similar type things they threw at him. And they\u2019re sitting there saying, &#8220;Look, if Trump survives this then this is a new day. We Democrats, we are not gonna quit, we\u2019re not gonna resign, we\u2019re not gonna fall on any sword that Donald Trump didn\u2019t fall on. No way there\u2019s gonna be a double standard.&#8221; And that I\u2019m sure is what Ralph Northam is thinking. If he can just hang in there for five or six days.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Fred in Cleveland. Welcome, sir. And I\u2019m glad you held on. Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Good day, Rush. I would like to get your thoughts on the abortion issue and how for the past 50 or 60 years the Republicans have been afraid of the issue. And my question to you is the sweet irony of what is going on now. And I think in 2020, if abortion is an issue, which it will be, Trump will win handily. The American people will not deal with the killing of live infants. And the Democrats have gone too far and they are blowing the election.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yes, but how many Americans have been told this?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Rush, there are eight states that have the same law that New York just passed or similar. You know, don\u2019t quote me on it, but there are eight states in the U.S. that have those same laws as New York. Half the people in those states probably don\u2019t even know it. But it will be forefront.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That is my point. We make the mistake of assuming that when we learn it the rest of the country is going to. <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/daily\/2019\/02\/05\/new-covington-video-shows-what-really-happened-and-i-find-it-hilarious\/\">The rest of the country still doesn\u2019t know the truth of what happened to the Covington high school kids<\/a>. Most of the country still thinks that those kids were the bullies and provoked the Indian. Most people don\u2019t know what the New York state legislature did.<\/p>\n<p>In Virginia, the media is trying not to report that by focusing solely on Ralph Northam\u2019s blackface period with his yearbook photo and so forth. And certainly when it is reported by the Drive-By Media, there\u2019s no accompanying outrage. In fact, it\u2019s reported almost with applause as yet another advance in the ongoing battle against the strict right-wing for a woman\u2019s right to choose.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-250871\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/PlannedParenthood-BUTCHERHOOD.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/PlannedParenthood-BUTCHERHOOD.jpg 585w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/PlannedParenthood-BUTCHERHOOD-300x133.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px\" \/>When the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectveritas.com\/\">Project Veritas videos came out<\/a>, the secret videos that recorded Planned Parenthood executives laughing and negotiating the sale price of dead baby body parts, they didn\u2019t pick that up. They immediately embarked on two things: either ignore the Project Veritas videos or run hit pieces on James O\u2019Keefe, the founder and grand pooh-bah. But they did not report the substance. I would venture to say that at least half the country doesn\u2019t know Planned Parenthood does that.<\/p>\n<p>And I\u2019m not trying to depress you. You gotta do keep things in perspective. We have two medias in this country, just like we have two tiers in the justice system. We have a two-tiered climate change operation. We\u2019ve got the people that know it\u2019s a hoax and the people that &#8212; well, both sides know it\u2019s a hoax. But one side knows it\u2019s a hoax and is willing to lie to their supporters to convince them it\u2019s not. And the media sides with the people reporting the hoax is real, not exposing the hoax.<\/p>\n<p>And so we just can\u2019t make the assumption that when something big and momentous like this happens, that the American people are gonna find out about it. The Drive-By Media is not going to report on any of this in a way that is harmful or critical to the Democrat Party. They will circle the wagons and try to cover it up or misdirect people\u2019s attention away from it.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Janet in Shiloh, Illinois, great to have you with us on the EIB Network. I need to run a theory past you, if you would be so kind.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I believe that the lieutenant governor of Virginia might be being destroyed because he doesn\u2019t support post-birth abortion. We know that he did not support the pipeline, does not support the pipeline that they\u2019re trying to put through in Virginia. And the Democrats were forced to edit him out of campaign literature during the election so that they could carry the state, that they could have the governor and the lieutenant governor and the attorney general. And that\u2019s a pretty extreme measure for even Democrats to do. And I think that we know that the lieutenant governor is a fervent supporter of a woman\u2019s right to choose, and you\u2019re absolutely correct, what the Democrats are doing is all about, in all these state legislatures, is protecting a woman\u2019s right to choose. And what Virginia did was they took it further than anyone ever has. They took it to a woman\u2019s right to choose after birth.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Right. Yeah. I know. It\u2019s outrageous. And they\u2019re trying to hide that fact about Northam.
