Just because of your consumption of news during the course of the past year or two, how many of you believe or how many of you have heard or how many of you have read and therefore think that it\u2019s pretty conventional wisdom that women just don\u2019t like Trump? They just hate Trump. Suburban women, Democrat women, you\u2019ve been told they just hate Trump, right?<\/p>\n

They despise him. “He\u2019s gross. He\u2019s an ogre. Yuk!” Isn\u2019t that the impression that\u2019s been created? Well, it turns out that Donald Trump\u2019s approval rating among Republican women is 93%. Republican women have a higher approval number than Republican men of Donald Trump. But if I\u2019ve seen one story, I don\u2019t know how many I\u2019ve read that women hate Trump — and every one of those stories leave out that there\u2019s a lot of women who do, who really like the guy.<\/p>\n

We hear from them every day on this program. Now, the polling that produced this happened before the current slate of news on the wall and funding for border security and all that. I don\u2019t think it would have affected the results. A pull quote from the story: “Still, some of us on principle don\u2019t feel at home with the conventional wisdom, even as we admit its undeniable reality. So this week we are going to spend some time with what may be America\u2019s most determined political outliers \u2014 the women who love Trump. …<\/p>\n

“Mr. Trump\u2019s overall approval rating in the Fox poll is 46%. His approval among Republican women is 93% \u2014 eight points beyond his approval among GOP men. Republican women outrun men in their support for Mr. Trump on virtually every issue Fox polled. These women aren\u2019t doubt-free” Trump supporters. They\u2019ve got some things they don\u2019t like. “Of that remarkable 93% figure, 36% ‘somewhat\u2019 approve of him.” I\u2019ll just give you the data there because it\u2019s something that nobody would believe simply based on news reporting. The bottom line is that Trump is much more popular and appreciated than, of course, the Drive-Bys are gonna report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
