RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, as you know, General Motors has entrusted their product line to me and this program because they know that I am a huge American capitalist and that I have seen their operation. They\u2019re letting us drive some of their different cars, we\u2019re focusing on some of the advanced technologies that GM is using here to use less gasoline in their automobiles and they\u2019re working on some cars down the road they say will eventually use no gasoline whatsoever. And we are proud at this program to be driving General Motors products around. We\u2019ve been driving their new Tahoe Hybrid. <\/p>\n

<\/a>Dawn has been driving it around. Brian\u2019s been driving it around. Dawn says it\u2019s a guy magnet. It\u2019s a full-fledged Tahoe. It is an SUV. But it\u2019s a hybrid and it does get surprisingly great gas mileage, much greater than a standard internal combustion engine gets, without the hybrid attachment. A lot of people, ‘But, Rush, but, Rush, I thought you thought hybrids were…\u2019 <\/p>\n

No, I don\u2019t care! If you want to drive a hybrid, I\u2019ve always said feel free; just don\u2019t think you\u2019re saving the planet with it. If you want to do it to get better gas mileage, fine and dandy. You don\u2019t have to go out and buy one of these little Tonka toy cars and sit around with it. This thing is a full-fledged SUV and it\u2019s a dream to drive, and everybody that\u2019s driven it loves this thing. The Chevy Tahoe Hybrid. You can log onto my website, RushLimbaugh.com, and take a look at this. There was even a hit piece in the newspaper the other day, the Washington Post or something had a hit piece on the Chevy Tahoe precisely because it\u2019s an SUV hybrid. No matter what you give the libs, it\u2019s never enough. This is worth looking at, a lot of fun to drive, and it\u2019s cheaper to drive as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
