CALLER: Hi, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I like your hold, by the way, love those temporary tattoo removal things. You\u2019re insane why you want anyone to vote for Democrats today —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait. Just a second here, Mary. You like to be on hold?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I like to be on hold. Your hold was actually very good. I loved the tattoo thing and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, that you get to hear the parody songs, tattoo — oh. I see. I thought you were getting a tattoo removed while you were on hold and that\u2019s why you liked it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, not my style, but that\u2019s okay, maybe on a future day.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. I\u2019m insane. Let\u2019s go back to me being insane, yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I\u2019m an independent, so for me to go in there to make a choice is always depending upon what it is the person that I want to be able to vote for is going to do the best thing for our area, for our city, for our state, for our country. And to think that I would have to vote for — or to even cross the lines and to vote for someone like Obama or Hillary is distasteful even if you want to create chaos. The bottom line is the only thing you\u2019re doing is you\u2019re also creating chaos in the local area, because we have things that have to be done locally that\u2019s much more important —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do \u2019em yourself.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — nationally. Much more important than national.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do them yourself then. In a local area you can do them yourself.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But you can\u2019t for the state.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What is this insane?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You are nuts. (laughing)<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s quite —<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019ve lost it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not urging anybody to vote for Obama.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, you\u2019re urging them to vote for Clinton, which is really nuts. I mean, it makes me gag to think somebody would want to vote for her today. I couldn\u2019t do it. <\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re just — <\/p>\n

CALLER: Pardon me?<\/p>\n

RUSH: You are insolent.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, of course I am. I hope so. But they asked me what party I wanted to vote for, and, you know, just like a cold shot runs through you —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re close to being insubordinate.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re darn right I am. And I didn\u2019t vote for McCain, either. I couldn\u2019t do that, either. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Did you vote?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, of course I voted.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You didn\u2019t vote for McCain?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nope.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What party did you vote for?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Republican.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What, Huckabee?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No. But I did make sure that the minority —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Your vote really counted, right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It did. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Your vote really counted.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It did. Listen, let me tell you something, McCain insulted —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You tell me I\u2019m insane?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — the state of North Carolina.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You tell me I\u2019m insane and you vote for some Republican nobody\u2019s ever heard of in a primary where our nominee\u2019s already chosen?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Who cares? That part of it isn\u2019t important. What\u2019s important to us is what\u2019s going to happen —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know, if we\u2019re going to question– <\/p>\n

CALLER: — governor situation, lieutenant governor? <\/p>\n

RUSH: — somebody\u2019s sanity here, we need to redirect attention to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I think I have been darn sane.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why couldn\u2019t you have gutted it up? You just threw away your vote.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I did not, no, no, no, because I was able to at least vote for my governor, for my lieutenant governor. If you\u2019re going to vote for somebody that you don\u2019t believe in, that\u2019s insane. If you\u2019re going to vote for someone you don\u2019t believe in, that\u2019s insane.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s not insane, because you can turn around in time for the general and vote for these people.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, you\u2019re wrong. You can\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, you can.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not necessarily — no, and I think that this —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes, you can. <\/p>\n

CALLER: — is going to backfire on you in a big way. It\u2019s going to backfire on you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s right, I don\u2019t know what I\u2019m talking about. I never know what I\u2019m talking about.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, McCain himself — right now what you\u2019re doing is, the only good thing you\u2019re doing is you\u2019re deflecting the problems with McCain, because if you create chaos between Clinton and Obama, you\u2019re deflecting the problems that there are with McCain with the voters that are Republican voters, or that are conservative voters, even independents. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Deflecting the problems? You\u2019re losing me. What do you mean, deflecting the problems with McCain?<\/p>\n

CALLER: McCain has a lot of problems with people who are conservative.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, but how am I deflecting them?<\/p>\n

CALLER: By having all of the attention placed with Obama and Clinton.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I\u2019m saving McCain by deflecting attention from him. Jeez!<\/p>\n

CALLER: I understand that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is a brilliant maneuver. Operation Chaos is brilliant on so many levels.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I understand.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you are insubordinate. You could have gone out and been a brilliant operative and commando and you call here and tell me that you couldn\u2019t gut it up and do it and then tell me I\u2019m insane because you couldn\u2019t do something.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I would never vote for those two. I\u2019d cut off my hand before I\u2019d vote for those two.<\/p>\n
