It\u2019s Open Line Friday. Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hi, Rush. Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: And the one thing that I want to say is, you know, I understand Operation Chaos and what you\u2019re sorta trying to do. But at the end of all things, like John McCain is some kind of big prize that we\u2019re going to get at the end of it all?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I never said that.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I never said that.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: All three of them stink, Rush, all three of them do. And &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: One of them\u2019s going to win.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, I &#8212; Not necessarily. I am not voting for the lesser of two evils ever again. I am going to write in my candidate and hopefully that will say something that if they can\u2019t get half the Electoral College, then something else is going to have to break, because they all stink. I don\u2019t want any of them in it, and that\u2019s pretty much what I\u2019m going to do.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That doesn\u2019t&#8230; Look, you don\u2019t want that, because if neither of them get enough&#8230; With two candidates, you\u2019re going to have&#8230; Well, Nader is in there. It\u2019s a wild card. You don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen with Nader. You know Ron Paul may not quit. He may not, so who knows.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That\u2019s who I\u2019m writing in, Rush, is Ron Paul.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, good. That\u2019s helpful.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughs)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Now &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It\u2019s better than voting for the lesser of two evils! Everybody keeps doing it and they wonder why &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I understand. I understand, and really what\u2019s frustrating is you have no choice. The parties have given you choices that, you know, they might as well give you cold spaghetti, right?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: They stink. You know it and I know it, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing) <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah. But here &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing) Well, that\u2019s all I could say. That\u2019s all I could say.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Powerful, very powerful. You sure you don\u2019t want to add anything to this?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: No, no. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yes, I do what I was going to tell you out there, Jane. By the way, Jane is one of my all-time, top-ten favorite female names.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hey, all right! I was wondering about that.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It is. I was going to tell you: If we got Nader and Paul and McCain and whoever the Democrats throw up there for slaughter, you got four of them in there; and if nobody gets 270 electoral votes, do you know how the whole thing is decided?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Uh, actually I\u2019m pretty clueless about it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Congress. Do you happen to know who runs Congress?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Most likely the Democrats right now.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Democrats run Congress. This will all be decided in the House of Representatives if you don\u2019t get to 270 electoral votes.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, I tell you what, Ron Paul\u2019s got a lot of Democrats coming to his side, so&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah? Well, you count on that. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing) I sure will.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You count on that, when the Democrats have a choice between Obama or Hillary or Ron Paul.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hey Ron Paul, hope for America, Rush! <\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s not the point.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hope for America, baby!<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s not the point. I\u2019m going to call you Chris Matthews if you keep talking so I\u2019m going to say so long.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thanks much for the phone call, and have a great electoral season.
