RUSH: Michael in Northridge, California, thank you for calling, sir. Welcome to the EIB Network.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Commander.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You just said it. The Democrat elites — in the DNC, for example, and the Democrat Party — this is what I\u2019ve always thought about for the last year. Obama\u2019s got those people. He\u2019s basically got \u2019em blackmailed. If he doesn\u2019t get the nomination, blacks will not turn out to vote, and there\u2019s going to be a sea change in Congress in composition. They\u2019d rather lose the general with him on the ticket and keep their power, than have somebody win a nomination even through a brokered convention, which are in the rules.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But there\u2019s a problem. They\u2019re gonna anger a seriously large constituency group regardless. It\u2019s either blacks that are going to get mad and maybe not vote or crossover vote for McCain, or it\u2019s these elite feminist women.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Your first caller had it right. The 19% or whatever the women percentage is, is a lesser percent to deal with, to bring them back into the fold, and they\u2019re probably more convinceable and persuadable to bring them back in the fold. I\u2019m just intuitively thinking that. The other thing is, you know, Hillary is not in this to lose. She\u2019s in this to win, and she\u2019s done the math, and she knows she can\u2019t get a delegate lead going into the convention.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Neither can he!<\/p>\n

CALLER: Correct. So she has to know that there\u2019s gotta be some sort of strategy — or strategery (chuckles) — to get this done. If she does a superdelegate strategy, she\u2019s going to disaffect the black vote, so I don\u2019t think that that\u2019s their strategy.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s the only strategy there can be.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t think that people are remembering Filegate, Livingstone and Webster Hubble.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If they had that stuff on Obama.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019ll use it at the last minute.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No. They wouldn\u2019t have let it get this far. She\u2019s in debt $20 million. There\u2019s no way they would have let it go this far!<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re probably right I\u2019m just saying there has to be a different strategy because that one is sheer doom. She\u2019s going to lose the presidency and the DNC is going to be waving bye-bye to their big offices.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You could be right. I mean, it\u2019s a long shot, but this is all part of Operation Chaos. But the only strategy here is with the superdelegates, and the only strategy she\u2019s got is an argument.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I say there\u2019s a July-August Surprise, and I wouldn\u2019t be surprised to see Bubba going over to Obama and sharing his pain, because I\u2019ve been there and done that. But, you know, maybe Obama finds a way to walk away, because she can\u2019t chop him down, because that\u2019s a guaranteed loser. I say this is the best form of entertainment known to man, okay? What we\u2019re witnessing right now, okay? And something has to give, one another, something has to give. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a third candidate. If you do that, okay, you\u2019re going to have the same problem times two: You\u2019re gonna disaffect the women voters and the black voters.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019ve got the same problem no matter what happens. That\u2019s the point of Operation Chaos!<\/p>\n

CALLER: So you\u2019ve gotta take your least-loss strategy, and I\u2019m not sure what that is, but something tells me that.. You know, look, they don\u2019t sit. The Clintons don\u2019t sit.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me pose this. Since you\u2019ve been thinking about this, let me pose this to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Sure!<\/p>\n

RUSH: How about this as a loss-leader strategy, or least-loss strategy, and that is: Obama as president, Hillary as the veep on the ticket.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nah. Neither of those two are going to be subservient, if you will, on the ticket to the other. It\u2019s logically possible…<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. You just told us the Clintons are in this to win. What better spot to undermine Obama as president, than from the US Naval Observatory vice presidential residency?<\/p>\n

CALLER: (chuckles) I\u2019m not looking at it from that point. I\u2019m looking at it from an election, in the general.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I understand. But the Clintons are like the Soviets. You don\u2019t have to win today, you just have to win. You take a couple steps forwards, you take a couple steps back, you take another couple more forward. You keep your eyes on the prize.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There are no time constraints on your victory. Victory is all that counts.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But they have to have a calculus to win, and that calculus has to play — okay? — before the convention.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no, no, no. Well, of course I\u2019m sure they have one of those, but it\u2019s the supers.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know what? That\u2019s conventional. Everyone says it. Everyone says this; everyone says that. Everyone says, ‘This person\u2019s out of it,\u2019 and, ‘This person\u2019s the front-runner,\u2019 and then everything gets topsy-turvied in a month later. I mean, McCain shouldn\u2019t be where he is, he\u2019s there. Hillary was predominantly… She had a 30-point national lead. Now she\u2019s on behind. I mean, nothing is today what it will be tomorrow and something tells me we\u2019re in for a big surprise.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, and that big surprise for me could be Hillary undermining Obama as vice president leading impeachment proceedings against him —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughter)<\/p>\n

RUSH: — planting all kinds of evidence in the residence of The White House, any number of things.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, then they\u2019d have already done that. If that\u2019s in the cards, they\u2019d do it now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That what I\u2019m saying. They don\u2019t have a Craig Livingstone and FBI files on the guy. If they did, it would have been used a long time ago. These people, they are leaking money. This is not how this is supposed to have happened.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
