RUSH: Mrs. Clinton last night in Philadelphia gave a rousing screech to her supporters at a rally followed by the Rocky theme playing. Here is a portion of her remarks.<\/p>\n

HILLARY: (screeching) If you\u2019re willing to make that job offer, which I hope you are tomorrow, I accept, and together we will take our country back! Let\u2019s make history! (Screeching louder) Let\u2019s go forward and show the world that America\u2019s best days are ahead of us! Thank you, and God bless you, and God bless America! (Rocky theme song)<\/p>\n

RUSH: And that\u2019s why I correctly referred to this, purposely referred to this as a rousing ‘screech\u2019 to her supporters. She\u2019s back, ladies and gentlemen, sounding like your ex-wife; maybe your first two ex-wives. Now Bill Clinton. This is funny. This is yesterday in Philadelphia on a radio station, a reporterette said, ‘Philadelphia\u2019s black political leaders came out early in support of Senator Clinton but several have switched. One was quoted as saying the turning point for her was during the South Carolina primary when you referenced Jesse Jackson and she was interpreted as marginalizing Obama as the black candidate. Do you think that was a mistake and would you do that again?\u2019<\/p>\n

BILL CLINTON: No. I think that they played the race card on me, and we now know from memos from the campaign and everything that they planned to do it all along. They wanted to act like, for reasons I didn\u2019t understand, that Senator Obama didn\u2019t have this African-American support, or they thought his white support was better because Jesse Jackson had blue-collar working people and most of Senator Obama\u2019s support were (pause) upscale, cultural liberals. So it was, like, beneath them to be compared to Jesse Jackson.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So Clinton claims they played the race card on him, the Obama people played the race card on him! (laughing) And he says (doing Clinton impression), ‘It was, like, beneath them to be compared to Jesse Jackson. I didn\u2019t play the race card. I said Jesse Jackson was black too, and it was beneath them because all these upscale cultural liberals.\u2019 Operation Chaos! The Democrats are attacking each other on our terms. Now, he continued in this phone conversation. He\u2019s angry here. You\u2019ll hear he\u2019s angry that Obama stole the black president gig from him after he put his office in Harlem.<\/p>\n

BILL CLINTON: You gotta really go some to play the race card with me. My office is in Harlem — and Harlem voted for Hillary, by the way. This was used out of context and twisted for political purposes by the Obama campaign to try to breed resentment elsewhere. And, you know, I — I — Do I regret saying it? No. Do I regret that it was used that way? I certainly do. But you really got to go some to try to portray me as a racist.<\/p>\n

RUSH: See? (laughing) He put his office in Harlem on purpose to make sure this stuff wouldn\u2019t happen to him, and he\u2019s been called a racist, injecting race in the campaign from South Carolina on, and he says, ‘My office is in Harlem.\u2019 (laughing) How often are you there? ‘Harlem voted for Hillary.\u2019 Yip yip yip yip yahoo. Now, let\u2019s see. Number four, Mister Broadcast Engineer. This is the end of the interview. Clinton thinks that he\u2019s no longer on the air, here. He\u2019s still on the air, but he doesn\u2019t realize it.<\/p>\n

BILL CLINTON: Thank you. I hope everybody will go out and vote tomorrow. Bye-bye. I don\u2019t think I should take any (bleep) from anybody on that, do you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: So he\u2019s talking to somebody on the room with him where he\u2019s on the phone. Play this again. Let me set this up. He\u2019s talking to somebody in the room after he said good-bye. He thinks the interview is over. The info babe at the radio station says, ‘Okay. Thank you very much, Mr. President.\u2019<\/p>\n

BILL CLINTON: Thank you. I hope everybody will go out and vote tomorrow. Bye-bye. I don\u2019t think I should take any (bleep) from anybody on that, do you? <\/p>\n

RUSH: You don\u2019t know what he said? You don\u2019t know what he said? You can\u2019t make it out? Okay. After he says, ‘Thank you, I hope everybody go out and vote tomorrow. Bye-bye,\u2019 he pulled the phone away from his face a little bit, was about to hang it up, and said, ‘I don\u2019t think I should take any sh– [beep]…\u2019 Crap. ‘I don\u2019t think I should take any [crap] from anybody on that, do you?\u2019 meaning the race card and so forth and so on. But that aired. That aired on a Philadelphia radio station yesterday.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, one thing about Bill Clinton and his office in Harlem, ladies and gentlemen. Let\u2019s not forget some things, here. His first choice for an office was in Midtown Manhattan in a very expensive high-rise building, and the federal government said, ‘We\u2019re not going to foot the bill for all that. We\u2019re not going to pay that much per square foot for your office. We\u2019re not.\u2019 His first choice was not Harlem. He then went to Harlem after the feds told him, ‘It\u2019s too expensive. We can\u2019t foot the whole bill for that.\u2019 He also says he\u2019s not a racist. At the White House correspondents dinner whatever year it was of the Waco invasion, when Janet Reno rammed the tanks into the Branch Davidian compound in Waco. I\u2019m sitting there. I\u2019m a guest at the thing, and Clinton says, ‘By the way, did you see Rush\u2019s program the other night on TV? He really defended Janet Reno. That\u2019s only because she was being attacked by a black guy.\u2019 So he\u2019s out there. saying, ‘I\u2019m not a racist. You gotta go a long way to put me in the racist category. My — my — my — my office is in Harlem.\u2019 We don\u2019t have to go a long way. That\u2019s so weak. That\u2019s like, ‘Hey, I mean some of my best friends are black, some of my best office mates. How can you call me a racist?\u2019<\/p>\n
