<\/p>\nRUSH: Okay. So suspicious packages\/bombs that did not go off have been sent to Democrats before the midterm elections. Is it real or is it a political setup? Is it a political stunt? And, if it is, who\u2019s behind it? If it\u2019s a political stunt, who\u2019s behind it, and for what purpose? I\u2019ve seen some people today who think the Republicans are behind this to try to scare Democrats away from going to the polls. That\u2019s a new one on me. That just doesn\u2019t compute. That\u2019s not the kind of thing Republicans do.<\/p>\n
In fact, you remember when Steve Scalise got shot by a deranged Democrat at congressional baseball practice? Do you know what our side said? We did not make it political. The Republicans in Congress said, “This speaks to all of us. We join everybody in condemning this.” The Republicans did not attempt to make that partisan in any way or to try to make hay out of it. I\u2019m not kidding. Go back and look at it if you\u2019ve forgotten this. The Republicans did not make a point of singling out the guy as a Democrat and condemning the Democrats.<\/p>\n

They essentially said that this is about \u201call of us.\u201d Republicans just don\u2019t have behavioral history like this. So if it\u2019s a political stunt, who is behind it and for what purpose? Well, the Kavanaugh thing was a setup, but it looked real for a while. The Kavanaugh thing was a setup from the get-go. We, of course, here at the EIB Network knew that. But a lot of people thought it was real until it was exposed as a fraud. The Democrats couldn\u2019t cover their bases long enough to pull that off.<\/p>\n
Hillary Clinton is rumored to run for president just before her certain-to-be poorly attended national tour with her husband. We have a massive land-force invasion heading toward our southern border meant for a confrontation just before Election Day. What if there are leaks from Mueller about his report before the elections? Political stunt, or not? Would Mueller and the media really do that? Look what happened at the FBI in 2016. They tried to fix an election for a Democrat.<\/p>\n
They tried to screw a Republican out of the election, and… I mean, these are all things that we know. And it wasn\u2019t just a handful of rogue FBI agents involved. It was the top tier of leadership. The one thing that we know to be true: The Democrats are pulling out all the stops. They see this election as their last, best chance to take down Trump and his agenda. It\u2019s October. Another way of looking at this. For the last few weeks, the Democrats have had all of that horrible PR, all of these angry mobs.<\/p>\n

And I don\u2019t care what anybody thinks. Those angry mobs are not good for the Democrat Party. Those angry mobs are not going to stoke turnout. Those angry mobs are not sending a signal, “Join us.” Much as the media would like to portray it otherwise — and much as the Democrats would like to portray it otherwise — the people of this country do not want to spend all day and all night every day enraged and angry. That\u2019s not what life is to most people, and they don\u2019t want it to be that.<\/p>\n
But that\u2019s what life is for your average Democrat today: Enraged, angry, upset, certainly unhappy, not content. And they are hoping to win elections based on that? There hasn\u2019t been a single — that I\u2019ve heard, a single — statement of condemnation for any of these acts committed against Republicans by Democrat mobs. People who have been caught on tape threatening Republicans in restaurants. People who have been caught on tape threatening Republicans at airports. Republican offices that have been vandalized, rocks thrown through windows. Kevin McCarthy the most recent.<\/p>\n
Angry mobs sending packages that claim to be ricin to Republican senator Susan Collins at her house. We have seen these angry mobs in the halls of the Senate during the Kavanaugh hearings. We have seen these angry mobs at political rallies. We have seen these angry mobs confronting people in public, in restaurants — doesn\u2019t matter where — and they have all been Democrat angry mobs. And there has not been a single condemnation from any Democrat. Like everybody today is condemning these bombs<\/a>.<\/p>\n There hasn\u2019t been a single condemnation by any Democrat for these mob actions taking place that have been going on since even before the Kavanaugh hearings really focused and got synthesized. When it began to appear that Kavanaugh was gonna make it and that this Blasey Ford tactic was gonna fall apart, the mobs went nuts — approaching Jeff Flake in the elevator, approaching Republicans in the halls, Lindsey Graham. You saw all that.<\/p>\n This cannot be good. These angry mobs… I don\u2019t care what Democrats think, they can now see it isn\u2019t working. The Republicans are pulling ahead in the Senate. And when we get into the discussion of the latest regarding midterm elections as the program unfolds today, I\u2019ve got a couple of pieces today from people who think that not only is there not gonna be a blue wave, that if there were, it would be cresting right now, and it isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve got a couple who have people been analyzing things that there could very well be a red wave, not just in the Senate but in the House. The point is the mob actions that have been sponsored by and undertaken by Democrats and their activists again have not been condemned, and they haven\u2019t worked. Their purpose, their mob purchase was to engender other anger at Republicans and therefore engender angry Democrat turnout.<\/p>\n But look! Republican turnout in early voting is dwarfing the Democrats. In some places, it isn\u2019t even close and is 180 degrees out of phase, nothing like what the political experts and scientists told us would happen in an off-year election. This was gonna be the Democrats\u2019 election. They were gonna show up in droves, energized. They were gonna be so excited. They were gonna be so motivated. Republican early voting is dwarfing them.<\/p>\n There\u2019s nothing out there — other than Nate Silver and a couple other polling units — that suggests a blue wave. And what kind of blue wave can it be if it doesn\u2019t include the Senate? There\u2019s some people now that think the Republicans might end up with 57, 58 seats in the Senate. It\u2019s all a toss-up. I mean, nobody really knows right now. But the point is the conventional wisdom is not settled on what the Democrats always thought it would and have been telling us it would be, and that\u2019s Republican massive landslide defeat.<\/p>\n That doesn\u2019t look to be in the cards. So if you\u2019re a Democrat operative and the mob tactics haven\u2019t worked — and, in fact, if you\u2019re a reasonable Democrat operative and you\u2019re looking at this objectively, you might be concluding this mob action could be hurting. It could be really firing up Republican turnout, as in the post-Kavanaugh period. There is a Kavanaugh effect, and it\u2019s gone one way: Pro-Republican. Documented.<\/p>\n \u201cThese mobs are not causing even more hatred of Republicans. In fact, it\u2019s looking like it\u2019s creating more support for Republicans!” So what would be the best way? If you are a Democrat operative and you are panicking right now — \u2019cause this is it. If you don\u2019t get the House now, you got two more years of Trump, an expanded Republican Senate. Republicans keep the House. Trump breezes to reelection in 2020. This is it, just like we think it\u2019s it for us.<\/p>\n But they have thrown everything they have at getting Trump. They\u2019ve thrown everything at him. They\u2019ve had the FBI, they\u2019ve had that deep state silent coup. They have thrown every trick at Republicans. Their media acolytes are doing their tough lifting for them — and none of it, none of it, none of it has worked. So what would you do? Democrat operative, best way to turn all of that around? How about a day like this? How about a day like this where you create a scenario where it looks like the mobs are on both sides.<\/p>\n It looks like the Republicans have a mob, too, or at least an \u201cinsaniac.\u201d There\u2019s some Republican out there sending bombs to decent, good Democrats and media people — former Democrat presidents and the harmless people at CNN. Wouldn\u2019t it serve your up here if you\u2019re a Democrat operative to make it look like the Republicans are a bunch of insane lunatics and have some mobsters on their side as well? The very same people the media says Republicans hate the most! Isn\u2019t this interesting?<\/p>\n George Soros, Hillary, the Obamas, CNN.<\/p>\n I mean, surely, surely that will convince the great unwashed out there that there are dangerous angry mobs on both sides. It\u2019s not just Democrats who have angry mobs. It\u2019s the Republicans too. Would you maybe think a day like this could help neutralize the image that has strung sprung to life that the Democrats are lunatics and insane? I mean, with Pelosi… I think Pelosi being heckled and attacked was a put-up job this past week and Friday. They\u2019re down in Miami. This last whenever it was. I think all these people shouting (impression), \u201cCommunista! Communista! Socialista!\u201d This is a little bit too pat. The husband of Jan Schakowsky, Democrat congresswoman Illinois, Robert Creamer met with Barack Obama 50-some-odd times during the Obama administration but specifically during the year 2016. Robert Creamer was hiring people to show up at Trump rallies to create protests and violence. Well, what if these mobs pointed at Republicans minding their own business in restaurants and in airports — what if these mobs attacking people who aren\u2019t doing anything to anybody and sending supposedly ricin to Republican senator Susan Collins. If you\u2019re a Democrat operative, you might start to conclude, “This is going the exact opposite way we intended. Uhhhh, these mobs are not inspiring even more hatred of Trump.<\/p>\n
