CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, you know, I get a little bit out of touch sometimes if I travel on business, and I just would like you on a daily basis to update us as to whether you are totally irrelevant or you\u2019re a threat to America, so we can all keep track.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you confused about this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know, if you don\u2019t catch the news at night, you don\u2019t know if Rush Limbaugh is washed up —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, I see.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — or do Americans need to bring in the Fairness Doctrine, because from day to day, it changes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s an excellent point. I remember after McCain won the Florida nomination —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — all the Drive-By Media said, ‘Well, that\u2019s it. Limbaugh\u2019s influence is over. He\u2019s had it. He\u2019s suggested people vote for Romney a couple days before the primary and it didn\u2019t happen. Limbaugh has always been overstated.\u2019 Not long after that I became a threat, and now there\u2019s Operation Chaos. It\u2019s a great illustration of just how seriously flawed in terms of journalism, the Drive-By Media actually is. But I think to answer your question, when did we start Operation Chaos? Actually, we go back before that. I\u2019ve been relevant every day of this year, every day of this year of the Democrat primaries getting nip and tuck. I\u2019ll think about that. I\u2019ll make an announcement, so audience members will not be confused, whether listening to somebody relevant or irrelevant, listening to a fad nor a has-been. It might be something well worth updating the audience on a daily basis. With the way the Drive-Bys report on this show, it can lead to confusion. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
