RUSH: Here\u2019s Paris in Irvine, California.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Rush!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi, Paris, how are you?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m good. Thank you for taking my call. I wanted to talk to you about this Obama character.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Which I am a ‘typical white person,\u2019 and I question his patriotism. I question that he\u2019s been defending this Reverend Wright and has yet never shown any kind of passion, this man, for this country as a whole, this nation as a whole. My second issue with Obama is the fact that he keeps correcting Senator McCain, but as we all remember, this guy doesn\u2019t know his recent history. Some of the head of Al-Qaeda and Taliban ran to Iran and they were being harbored by that government. That government has been doing that for many years. Where is he coming from saying that Iran has never supported Al-Qaeda? Why doesn\u2019t he listen to our generals?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. I lost you during that because you\u2019re talking fast. Are you talking about McCain at the end of that, or are you talking about Obama?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Obama. I\u2019m saying, why is he thinking that McCain was wrong? McCain was not wrong. Iran has been harboring Al-Qaeda.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It doesn\u2019t matter, Paris. It doesn\u2019t matter whether McCain is right or wrong. This is what the Democrats do! They are going to try to attack and Obama\u2019s desperately trying to change the subject, and he\u2019s trying to make it look like he\u2019s already won the nomination. So he\u2019s focusing on McCain, who is the presumptive Republican nominee — and he knows the Drive-Bys are going to carry his water. He knows the Drive-Bys will then go to McCain and play this gaffe up and so forth. This is who the Democrats are. You know, McCain\u2019s not going to play this game.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know, the other thing I wanted to mention to you, is CNN being so biased, and Anderson Cooper\u2019s program. I used to be a fan. I stopped watching the program because it makes me sick to see that a reputable news agency can be so biased. Just for that, I\u2019m sick of it. I started three websites I wanted to tell you about: ShameOnDriveByMedia.com, ShameOnCNN.com, and ShameOnNewYorkTimes.com. <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughs)<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m launching these three websites, and I\u2019m just going to go and try to protest the biased media.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I love your passion, Paris, but a question. Did you just discover that CNN is not a reputable news agency, because that\u2019s been the case for about 20 years?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, to be very honest with you I\u2019ve always given them the benefit of the doubt.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why? Why have you given them the benefit of the doubt, because you wanted to be nice?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to be nice, and I decided that I cannot close my eyes to this no longer. I\u2019ve just decided, they\u2019re not my news agency no longer.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Good. Who is your news agency?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I — I — You! (giggling)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, right. You passed the test.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughter) No, I watch Fox News, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, naturally. Naturally. Paris, thanks for the call.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Rush!<\/p>\n
