RUSH: Hi. You\u2019re on the program.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fine. Welcome to the phone and to the show, and thank you for holding.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Yes, first thing I want to say, I was listening to the history sermon you was giving a few minutes ago –and also I want to say that, to me what you\u2019re trying to do is put Ronald Reagan, Bush, and McClane [sic] in all the same area. It is not so, because Ronald Reagan and Bush and McCain is two different people. <\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no, three.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They don\u2019t even have the same views. Ronald Reagan cannot —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Three different people, Dena. Three.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, you\u2019re right, but I\u2019m saying in personality. <\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Bush and McCain can never be Ronald Reagan.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know, damn it! It\u2019s one of the reasons we\u2019re unhappy here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But that\u2019s how you trying to portray it by what you\u2019re saying.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I am not at all, Dena. I am lamenting that we don\u2019t have a leader on the Republican side, either.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, but what your thing is that you\u2019re still pushing McCain because he\u2019s the only one who\u2019s running Republican.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m not pushing McCain. McCain is the beneficiary of Operation Chaos, but I\u2019m not pushing McCain.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But that\u2019s what it definitely seem like, and the other thing —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me tell you something. If I were pushing McCain, he\u2019d be in trouble. He\u2019d be losing all those independents and moderates that want to vote for him.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, regardless of that, he is the only Republican that\u2019s running, and your talk is to push for a Republican.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, it\u2019s not. No, it is not. Now, I have openly said I don\u2019t want Hillary or Obama to win.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm, and so that\u2019s true that that\u2019s your job and what you\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And it is about winning. And this Operation Chaos is about winning.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You tell me what I said about McCain.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But — but hold on. But if — if Hillary nor Obama will win, then who else gonna to be in place? Nobody else but McCain — and a vote for McCain is a vote for George Bush, which we are in horrible, horrible conditions because of George Bush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I wish it were a vote for George Bush, but it isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But let me ask another thing. You said ‘guilt by association.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: When did I say that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I\u2019m speaking of Obama now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s what Obama said! That\u2019s what the defenders of Obama were saying.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I\u2019ve heard you say more than one time, ‘guilt by association.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ve repeated it because I\u2019ve heard them say it. Yes, so, I\u2019ve said it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, that\u2019s fine. That\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But I\u2019m just saying let\u2019s look at guilt by association. Let\u2019s look at George Bush. <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughs)<\/p>\n

CALLER: When 9\/11 happened —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Guys gotta give it up. You guys gotta give it up!<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, I\u2019m serious. When 9\/11 — <\/p>\n

RUSH: He\u2019s not on the ballot.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Let me just have my say, then you can say whatever you want to. When 9\/11 happened, Bin Laden\u2019s family was in George Bush home. <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: Now, if you want to say guilt by ass-o-ci-ation —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you attend Reverend Jeremiah Wright\u2019s church?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t, and I don\u2019t have to, because some of the things he\u2019s saying it is historically true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You don\u2019t have to because you already know what he\u2019s preaching is right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No. You off the subject —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Bin Laden\u2019s family was in Bush\u2019s house?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly! I know you know that. Some of his family was in Bush\u2019s house. (crosstalk)<\/p>\n

RUSH: You can\u2019t try that. That\u2019s an Obama technique. You can\u2019t do that. Dena, you can try a lot of tactics, but you can\u2019t trick the host. <\/p>\n

CALLER: You know what? You are for McCain and you know it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am — Look, I —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay —<\/p>\n

RUSH: — have a doctrine in —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I definitely can.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Dena, I have a doctrine in trickinology.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s no trickinology. It\u2019s true! Would you like me to send you the document? But I don\u2019t hear you speak about this.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No. I —<\/p>\n

CALLER: You don\u2019t speak about a lot of things when it comes to the Republicans.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know Bin Laden\u2019s family was not in Bush\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nor do you speak a lot of things when it comes to George Bush. Nor do you speak a lot of things when he was — when he went to the church that he went to that said you shouldn\u2019t have interracial maaaaarriages. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, man.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You don\u2019t speak about none of that, because you are Republican, and you for the Republican McCain, and like I say: A vote for McCain is a vote for George Bush. So you have to smear, uh, Obama.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Another thing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Dena, I\u2019m being very patient with you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m being very patient with you, but I am smearing nobody. They are smearing themselves. I\u2019m simply amplifying the smear. I am smearing nobody. Lord, Dena. You are a kook, you know? There are way too many of you. We are never gonna get unity. I mean, not even a great unifier like Jeremiah Wright or Barack Obama can unify us, as long as there are kooks like you who believe things like Osama\u2019s family was sleeping in Bush\u2019s house!
