CALLER: Well, Rush, how are you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m fine and dandy here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good. We haven\u2019t talked since the Clinton administration.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. I remember that very well.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And you know I was crazy about Bill. No more. Bill Clinton. I can\u2019t stand Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton — and, by the way, I support Barack Obama, and I\u2019m the biggest critic now, and let me tell you why. Now, with respect to this Geraldine Ferraro issue, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am a very loyal Democrat, just like most blacks are in this country. I\u2019m also very much involved in the party, particularly California Democratic Party structure, you know, getting involved and stuff; and I can tell you that there has always been a problem with racism with respect to African-Americans within the Democratic Party. Talk to any Democrat like me that\u2019s involved in the party structure.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hey, Lorraine X?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m glad you\u2019ve come around to this. This is what people like me have been trying to convince you of for the longest time, that the Democrat Party is the worst thing that ever happened to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, let me tell you. I had to experience it, and I got involved heavy during the Clinton administration, so I\u2019m speaking here from experience. And let me tell you: Rush, Geraldine Ferraro, she is a racist as far as many blacks are concerned — and she has a history of making racist statements about black men in particular that dates back to Jesse Jackson in 1984. But let me tell you, Rush. She is, Geraldine Ferraro, the quintessential angry feminist Democrat white woman, and you notice I didn\u2019t say angry white woman. No, no, no. Because Republican women really don\u2019t have a dog in this fight, but let me tell you. It is the angry feminist Democrat white woman who is lashing out, because they cannot stand the idea of a black man beating a white feminist Democrat white woman to the White House, and let me tell you…<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, wait a minute, Lorraine X.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I want to applaud you for reaching this very insightful conclusion. You gotta realize how frustrated I was talking to you back in the nineties, trying to get you to see things this way. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But look at what party it\u2019s happening in. It\u2019s the Democrat Party. It\u2019s the Democrat Party that tells us we gotta have affirmative action. We gotta vault these people that are less qualified ahead of everybody else, but when it happens to them —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yep.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — they\u2019ve gotta step on the black guy.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely. Look, I\u2019m in my late thirties now so I really matured. But I\u2019m gotta tell you, many younger black women like me, you know, we are mad as hell with the white feminist Democrat white women like Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro — and, you know what? We\u2019re not going to allow them to attack Barack — <\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and get away with it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. Question. They\u2019re really not attacking him much. I mean, they\u2019re starting, to but they don\u2019t even have their whole feet in the water yet. They\u2019re just toeing around here. But beyond all this, I got two more things for you because you said you\u2019re really mad about Bill Clinton. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I want to get to that last. Obama leads in the delegates right now. Now, neither he nor Hillary are going to be able to get enough delegates to win the nomination before the convention. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But Obama\u2019s leading every which way, and by the time the primaries are over Obama\u2019s going to have more delegates; he\u2019s going to have more popular vote, and he\u2019s going to have more states. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If he doesn\u2019t get the nomination, what are you going to do?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, if he doesn\u2019t get the nomination, I can tell you, a lot of the black — and, by the way, I\u2019m going to be at that convention. (laughs)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Are you a superdelegate?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, no, no, but I am going to be there as a delegate and everything.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, so what are you going to do? If Obama doesn\u2019t get it, what are you going to do?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, if Obama doesn\u2019t get it, you know, a lot of people talked about this 1968 — which I didn\u2019t know a lot about I was too young for it — but it will probably be worse. But he\u2019s going to get it, and here is why. You said that they hadn\u2019t really started attacking him that much. Yes, they have. Hillary Clinton, when she came out and made that statement, talking about ‘meet me in Ohio,\u2019 and the very next day, she came out and she became very uncivil when she said, ‘Barack is not qualified,\u2019 and she was just making all these kinds of statements.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s nothing. That\u2019s nothing compared to what the Clintons can do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh. Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Lorraine X? I want you to look at me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am warning you: You just made an error. You said he\u2019s going to get it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yes!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know the Clintons now. Do not think they think that. They are already talking about him maybe being qualified to be veep.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you know what, that\u2019s true. But, see, a lot of the Democrats, though, a lot of the blacks that are in the party structure, you know, we\u2019re very much —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Lorraine?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — aware of them, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Lorraine? Don\u2019t doubt me. We are talking the Clintons.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, they\u2019re going to try to take it away from him. Listen. Listen to me. It\u2019s no doubt, Rush, that they\u2019re going to attempt to take it away from him.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m telling you, they\u2019re not going to just ‘attempt.\u2019 You can\u2019t assume, Lorraine X, as an Obama supporter, that they\u2019re going to fail. You have to assume they\u2019re going to succeed, and plan accordingly to stop it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If she succeeds, if the Clintons succeed — if they have to create \u201968 in Chicago all over again, they will do it. If they have to do things that cause Al Sharpton to show up and start ma\u2019ching, they will do it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s so bad, even —<\/p>\n

RUSH: If there are bonfires set to protest this or that, they will do it. So my question — and I\u2019ve got 30 seconds.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm?<\/p>\n

RUSH: If Obama has this taken away from him by hook or by crook — superdelegates or what have you, at the convention — what are you going to do?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I think that that convention would probably be shut down. It will be that bad. There\u2019s that much anger.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What are you…? I\u2019ve got 15 seconds. Please.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Pretend you\u2019re not my wife for a second, and answer the question. What are you going to do if Hillary gets the nomination?<\/p>\n

CALLER: If Hillary gets the nomination, me as a black, just like most blacks, we won\u2019t vote for her. She\u2019s finished. She cannot win without the black vote —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — and she\u2019ll lose.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I knew that. I knew that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know that\u2019s going to be the case. Will you not vote period, or will you cross over and vote for McCain?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think a lot of the blacks are like me, and a lot of African-Americans feel this way. They\u2019ll probably not vote at all, or we\u2019ll certainly consider John McCain, depending on whether or not he says the right things. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But we will not vote for Hillary.<\/p>\n
