If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. Ladies and gentlemen, I maintain to you that the chaos that we sought to create and continue in the Democrat Party is a strategery that is working out flawlessly, brilliantly conceived, flawlessly executed strategery. The dirty little secret is here, that, if Geraldine Ferraro were not a woman, Mondale would have never named her, and everybody knows it. So who, once again, is it raising the race card and so forth? It\u2019s Democrats, and this is the Hillary camp, and this is exactly what we suspected would happen, all these surrogates are out there with all these attacks on Obama. And Obama, by the way, is fighting back in some of these attacks. He\u2019s getting a little aggressive now. <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125110.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright\"\/>The Clintons and the Obamas and the vice presidential nod. We have audio sound bites. I told you about this when it happened yesterday, we finally got the sound bite for you. Obama was in Columbus, Mississippi, yesterday at a campaign event, and this is what he said.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: They have been spending the last two, three weeks, you remember with that advertisement with the phone call telling &#8212; getting all their &#8212; the generals to say, &#8216;Well, we\u2019re not sure he\u2019s ready, I\u2019m ready on day one, he may not be ready yet,\u2019 but I don\u2019t understand, if I\u2019m not ready, how is it that you think I should be such a great vice president? Do you understand that? I was trying to explain to somebody awhile back the okey-doke. You all know the okey-doke? When somebody is trying to bamboozle you, when they\u2019re trying to hoodwink you, you &#8212; ha &#8212; they are trying to hoodwink you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And you, too, buddy. You better keep a sharp eye out behind yourself. They\u2019re trying to do more than hoodwink you. I mean they\u2019re running around acting like they\u2019ve won the nomination, like it\u2019s a foregone conclusion that she should be the nominee, on top, and he should be on the bottom. Fast Eddie Rendell out there yesterday, &#8216;Of course, of course, she\u2019s won states that already have 260 electoral votes.\u2019 They\u2019re throwing every rule &#8212; see, this is what I said earlier. There are no rules. As these redo\u2019s with the Florida and Michigan primaries are going to illustrate, there are no rules in the Democrat Party. There are no rules in liberalism. That\u2019s why there are no standards, so they can\u2019t be held accountable to anything, you can\u2019t call them hypocrites. There aren\u2019t any rules, and if there are no rules then you can\u2019t have rules that are broken, right? You just have traditions and customs. And what are some of the traditions and customs in the Democrat Party? Dead people vote two or three times. There are many such traditions and customs that are not at all rules violations. You have to understand this. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125110.Par.4584.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"204\" class=\"alignright\"\/>Obama is now just starting to find out about this. He thinks he has a majority of the delegates, and he\u2019s gonna keep that majority, he\u2019s gonna win. No. There are no such rules in the Democrat Party, otherwise there wouldn\u2019t be superdelegates. What Obama doesn\u2019t know is that his delegates don\u2019t count a whit if the number of superdelegates Hillary can amass will over-number his pledged delegates combined with her pledged delegates. So the superdelegates &#8212; and of course there are no rules for them &#8212; they can do whatever they want, so we\u2019re not talking rules here. We\u2019re talking tradition, customs, and what\u2019s one of the traditions of the Democrat Party, modern Democrat Party, Clintons run it. So why should we forsake tradition here? You got Geraldine Ferraro out there saying, hey, if he were a white guy, he wouldn\u2019t even be here. Turn that around. He\u2019s only here because he\u2019s a black guy. That\u2019s what Geraldine Ferraro said, a nice, upstanding, compassionate, thoughtful liberal. One more Obama before we go to the break, actually, two more. Here\u2019s a portion of his continuing remarks.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: With all due respect, I\u2019ve won twice as many states as Senator Clinton. I\u2019ve won more of the popular vote than Senator Clinton. I have more delegates than Senator Clinton. So I don\u2019t know how somebody who\u2019s in second place is offering the vice presidency to the person who\u2019s in first place. I want everybody to be absolutely clear. I\u2019m not running for vice president. I\u2019m running for president of the United States of America.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: He\u2019s confused here. Of course he\u2019s right, according to rules, but there are no rules here. He was right about everything. He\u2019s won more states, he\u2019s won more delegates, he\u2019s won more popular vote, and he doesn\u2019t understand why he\u2019s being offered the second spot. (laughing) There\u2019s another custom or tradition in the modern Democrat Party, and it\u2019s this: Whatever the Clintons want, they get. And why should we part with that? Can\u2019t have these other little incidentals stand in the way. One more Obama.<\/p>\n<p>OBAMA: When in the midst of a campaign you decide to throw the kitchen sink at your opponent because you\u2019re behind, your campaign starts leaking photographs of me when I\u2019m traveling overseas to make people afraid, that\u2019s not real change.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing) &#8216;That\u2019s not real change?\u2019 Come on, Barry, you can do better than that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: Geraldine Ferraro was talking to a newspaper somewhere out in California, and she said if Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position.
