RUSH: On Monday, Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins spoke to a gaggle of reporters gathered outside her office. She said if Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh lied when he denied sexually assaulting this accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, then obviously he\u2019d be disqualified from advancing to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he lied.\u201d Despite his impeccable character, a lifetime of distinguished accomplishments, his unquestionably honorable government service, it\u2019s now up to Judge Kavanaugh to somehow prove he\u2019s not lying. Against a last-minute allegation that came totally out of left field.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u201cIf he lied.\u201d Well, here\u2019s a better question. How about: \u201cif she lied\u201d? What happens if this Democrat Party donor and activist, following the Anita Hill playbook, is lying? Will she be \u201cdisqualified\u201d from anything? Will any of the Democrats, like Dianne Feinstein, who orchestrated this ambush, will they be \u201cdisqualified\u201d?<\/p>\n

To many of us, there\u2019s no question what\u2019s going on here. It\u2019s transparent. It\u2019s despicable. It\u2019s desperate. It\u2019s evil. And it\u2019s not the first time we\u2019ve seen it. Certainly not from Democrats. Now they are saying she doesn\u2019t have to corroborate her lie– her statement. What is this folks?<\/p>\n
