RUSH: Let me read a passage from this Adam Smith piece in the St. Petersburg Times about the Democrat Party fretting over a fractious tone. ”In the 66-some-odd years I\u2019ve been doing this, this is the saddest election I\u2019ve ever worked in,\u2019 said Ginger Grossman, a prominent Democratic organizer in Miami-Dade County, who says she hears countless Jewish liberals tell her they won\u2019t vote for Obama if he wins the nomination. ‘It\u2019s outrageous, and it\u2019s breaking my heart. I know it\u2019s because he\u2019s black, or I feel it is,\u2019 said Grossman, a Clinton supporter who said she would also vote enthusiastically for Obama. ‘The worst of it is when they start calling him a Muslim and say, ‘Why aren\u2019t they using his name, Hussein?\u2019 I pray God it can be overcome. It\u2019s devastating, but I\u2019m hoping I can change it.”<\/p>\n

Well, I hadn\u2019t heard this one before. I hadn\u2019t heard that liberal Democrat Jews are opposed to Obama. Had you heard that? I hadn\u2019t heard that. Well, this is good. This is all good, folks, it\u2019s right into our plan. And, look, if we\u2019re not going to be serious about beating these people and they are serious about harming themselves, then we have to help them. Because my objective is winning, is defeating these people, is defeating the liberal Democrat Party, and since so few Republicans seem interested in that, we do have opportunities nevertheless for it to happen because the Democrats are in the process of tearing themselves apart here. It\u2019s probably far more than we even know. This is St. Petersburg Times, it\u2019s Drive-By Media, but it ain\u2019t big. Who knows what else is going on out there about all this, that we\u2019re not hearing. I mean, the moment there\u2019s a Republican rift, if the Republicans have a rift over the kind of cheese to serve at the campaign rally, that\u2019s a week\u2019s worth of stories. But we don\u2019t get those kinds of stories on the Democrat side until it\u2019s gotten to the breaking point. <\/p>\n

So this is a new one on me, liberal Jews in south Florida have no interest in voting for Obama. That\u2019s what it says here, and it\u2019s from a Democrat strategerist. It isn\u2019t me. Now, does this mean they\u2019re going to vote for McCain? I don\u2019t know. Ah. May not have to. Ralph Nader has entered the scene again, really made Tim Russert mad yesterday. (laughing) Oh! Calypso Louie has had a miraculous health recovery, ladies and gentlemen. Now, the microphone quality here is not the best. But there were 20,000 people at McCormick Place yesterday, Chicago, where Calypso Louie was doing the Saviors\u2019 Day. And here\u2019s Calypso Louie.<\/p>\n

FARRAKHAN: He is the hope of the entire world that America will change. A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Were you able to understand that? In case you weren\u2019t, Calypso Louie said, of Obama, ‘He is the hope of the entire world that America will change. A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.\u2019 Now, this is important to Calypso Louie because the founder of the Nation of Islam had a white mother. Was that Elijah Muhammad? I forget which. Okay, now, the Obama camp immediately set about distancing themselves. (laughing) They wasted no time in distancing themselves here from Calypso Louie. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Mega dittos, Rush, I love you dearly. I trust God first and then I trust you. I\u2019m very frustrated at the fact that here in Ohio we sit and watch even mildly conservative candidates be eliminated before we even get a chance to vote. I am now seriously thinking of crossing party lines and voting for Hillary to keep her in the race. What do you think about that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: We\u2019ve had some people in Texas, some Republicans in Texas say that they, too, wanted to pimp themselves for a day and join the Democrat primary and vote either for Hillary or Obama. But, you know, somebody\u2019s gotta prop her up. There\u2019s no reason for this to end. I mean, the mathematics is what it is, the delegate math is what it is, but these are the Clintons we\u2019re talking about, and I know they don\u2019t want their legacy to be that they quit.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Even if it is to so-call live for another day.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But, no, I think the more she can stay and harass Obama and take this down to the convention, the better it all will be for us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Is Ralph Nader helping at all?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, Ralph Nader got 2.7% of the vote in 2007. You might say he did, because he took his 2.7% of the vote from Algore, so he could be a marginal factor, because despite what everybody thinks, this is a 50-50 country. It\u2019s going to come down to one or two states again in November, and if Ralph Nader can get in there and goof up one of them, then, yeah, he can be a factor.<\/p>\n

CALLER: More power to him. I wasn\u2019t sorry to see him join in.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. Nor was I. I love watching the Democrats get conniption fits over it. I mean you gotta understand their attitude. They think since the 2006 elections, that it\u2019s just a matter of the clock ticking and they\u2019re going to own the country and, therefore, the world. And now it\u2019s not happening the way they thought it was going to, and they\u2019re breaking into factions here. The women are not happy, as we\u2019ve documented for you, the blacks in the Democrat Party not happy with the way Hillary has been campaigning. Oh, and you know something else? Be on the lookout for this. All of the racism and sexism is actually on the Democrat side, and there are people now running around, folks, whispering, ‘Don\u2019t worry, Rush, McCain can\u2019t lose, there\u2019s no way Hispanics are going to vote for the black guy. It ain\u2019t going to happen. Latinos aren\u2019t going to vote a black guy, I don\u2019t care what anybody says, they could have party affiliation –‘ This is a little scuttlebutt that I\u2019m hearing. Democrats talking about their woes and their concerns and so forth, all of it being masked by the messianic-type rallies that Obama is having. But they\u2019re in trouble, they\u2019re fracturing, fractious out there. And we need to encourage that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
