CALLER: Hi Rush. It\u2019s nice to talk to you. I love you. Hey, Rush, the media, the talking heads, they don\u2019t get it today, but there is an emerging population out there that they\u2019re never, ever, going to understand, and that\u2019s the Rush Limbaugh Stepbaby. Imagine that all of us who married during the Reagan administration, when morality was brought back into fashion, and liberals are social creatures, and they tend to conform to whatever they think the popular culture is, so when morality was in vogue with Reagan, they pretended to have morality. I know I married one of those. I didn\u2019t know it at the time. And then when Clinton came into office and selfishnessness and self-servingness became fashionable, all of a sudden we end up divorced and my children become a disposable item. His children become a disposable item. So when they go to the public schools, the great defender of the weak and the downtrodden, the public schools\u2019 attitude is, ‘Oh, well these are children without a father influence. Everybody knows what happens to children like these. We\u2019re just harboring them until they go to prison.\u2019 You know, the great defender of the downtrodden, that\u2019s the attitude and they make it tougher. <\/line><\/a>So then they sit and they talk about how children need a father figure, and then these children — and I hope mine aren\u2019t the only ones — they have this fantasy of a stepfather who is going to help them heal. Well, I turned mine to the Rush Limbaugh Show. And I said, ‘Here is a stepfather for you that you can rely on. He has every trait that a good father needs. He\u2019s reliable; he\u2019s honest; he\u2019s dependable; he\u2019s 24\/7; he\u2019ll never fail you; he\u2019ll never forsake you; he\u2019ll never sell out his principles. He will be there. He will be consistent. If you don\u2019t agree with what he says, you have to admire the fact that he believes it today; he\u2019ll believe it in 20 years from now; he\u2019ll believe it in 40 years from now, and he will fight for your right to have a country as established by the Founding Fathers.\u2019 And my children healed, and they defy the odds. My children are, statistically speaking, part of the disposable culture that\u2019s a victim of divorce. My son will be able to vote this year for the first time. Now, Rush, what incentive program do you think Hillary would have to get out there in order for my son, who looks at her and realizes that she is the type of person that legitimizes the selfish and the self-serving.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. I\u2019ve got a question about that, Roseanne. You mean your son doesn\u2019t understand the 35 years that Hillary Clinton has been fighting for him?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s probably because, you know, when you go to the public school and you talk about God, they equate God with brainwashing, so his conservative mother has been brainwashing him with the Bible and teaching him things like he\u2019s special because he\u2019s made in the image of God, and that this country was founded on his right to do something. I had to quit my job to help my children to overcome this, and when I used to go into the public school system to advocate for them, and I made $70,000 a year, I was called Mrs. and treated with respect. When I quit my job, I was treated like a white trash single mother. I hadn\u2019t changed. It was just the level of what they could get away with had changed. I went to specialists before I did this, and they told me, ‘Look, they\u2019re not going to want to help your children. Instead, they\u2019re going to emotionally kick the crap out of you to get you to back down. You have to accept this, you have to stand, you have to cry, you have to take it on the chin, because when they\u2019re doing this to you, they\u2019re leaving your kids alone and that\u2019s your kids\u2019 greatest hope.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Rush, the things I\u2019ve had said to me, the things I\u2019ve had said to me. But my children healed and they got better, but they never would have gotten better — see, this is what people like their father are counting on. Every liberal to some extent is an evil master at what they do, but they count on these things. You see, my children can\u2019t be successful because if they\u2019re successful then he has to come to terms with the fact of what he does, just like Hillary Clinton. She doesn\u2019t want to come to terms with what she does, she wants to live in denial. She wants to hand out programs and encourage you and me to not do anything with ourselves because if we don\u2019t do anything with ourselves, she doesn\u2019t have to come to terms with what she is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, maybe so, but if we don\u2019t do anything with our lives or if other people don\u2019t, that just leaves them ripe for Hillary to make dependent and turn them into eternal voters for Hillary and Democrats. You are very perceptive out there, and you are tough. You really are tough. You hung in there. You took on these obstacles and refused to let \u2019em get you down. I\u2019m proud of you. Have you since remarried?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No. I don\u2019t need to remarry. I have you. I have you, what do I need? My daddy told me you\u2019ve gotta make the mistakes you\u2019re willing to stand before God for, Rush. Doesn\u2019t that sound like a Rush Limbaugh comment?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Of course.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, I thought you asked me if you could make another Rush Limbaugh comment. I apologize for my hearing. Look, Roseanne, thank you very much. I still get a little embarrassed during things like this, but I still appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you very much, more than you know. <\/p>\n

RUSH: B. J., Houston, Texas, nice to have you on the program, and welcome.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am just delighted to talk to you. We love you, love you, love you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well. That\u2019s very sweet.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted you to know that when the little lady called and said her children didn\u2019t need a father because they had you —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — I had to call you, because when both of my children graduated from college in the eighties, they both told me, ‘Mom, you gotta listen to this guy on the radio because he sounds just like you.\u2019<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s true. That\u2019s what we do here is validate the opinions and thoughts of others. You\u2019re not a mind-numbed robot, for example, you had your own ideas before you ever turned this program on.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s exactly right. But I\u2019ve wanted you to know how much I appreciate the fact that you have stood with our military. I\u2019ll be 73 my next birthday, and I was ten-years-old when the Japanese surrendered, and we were living right outside of our little town at Sheppard Air Force Base, and we were very aware of the war, and that wonderful, wonderful military that made it unnecessary for me as a ten-year-old to have to learn Japanese and German, are the parents and grandparents of this wonderful military that the Democratic Party today and the leadership has been standing on the floor of the United States Congress now for four years besmirching and telling the enemy that we, the greatest country in the world with the greatest military in the world, can\u2019t flip a bunch of Third World thugs.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Not just besmirching. They have been dispiriting them. They have been trying to demoralize them. They have been insulting them, and they have been impugning them. They have been trying to say that they can\u2019t win, can\u2019t beat this little ragtag bunch. And you\u2019re absolutely right to call and honor them, and I appreciate that.
