CALLER: Well, the working men and women of this country do not believe the media\u2019s lies, the left\u2019s lies, the liberals\u2019 lies. We have peeked behind the curtain of the great and mighty Oz. We have seen them pull their levers and their strings. We\u2019ve seen their smoke and their fire, and we don\u2019t buy it.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. How do you explain polling data that says — and it\u2019s out today — it\u2019s a Fox News poll, 58% of Democrats can\u2019t wait to vote in the midterms. Only 48% of Republicans are motivated to vote.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I can\u2019t explain their polls. I don\u2019t have any trust in their polls. I don\u2019t have any faith in their polls. What I have faith in is I have a job that I come to every day that personally myself I make $32.16 an hour. I did not go to college. I\u2019ve not been indoctrinated by their liberal crap. So I don\u2019t trust the polls. I don\u2019t like the polls. I don\u2019t even listen to the polls. I do what\u2019s natural to me. I love the work. I get up and I go to work.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s men and women here that come to work every day, they\u2019re from other states. I\u2019m working with men and women, black men, a woman on my crew who is a lesbian. She comes to work, she\u2019s the hardest working person on this crew. I\u2019m a white, 53-year-old male. I don\u2019t hate women. I don\u2019t hate blacks. I don\u2019t hate lesbians. I may not agree with their lifestyle, but I don\u2019t hate them. I work hand in hand with this person. And like I said she\u2019s one of the hardest working people on this crew. We just don\u2019t believe their crap and their bullshit anymore.<\/p>\n
RUSH: How widespread do you think this is? Are you confident that the Trump coalition\u2019s gonna hold together and hang together?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I hope it is. Sometimes the working men and women get so caught up in doing what they\u2019re doing that they don\u2019t pay attention, that we do have to go out to the polls and we do have to vote.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You know, I hear that. I hear that. I understand it, but here I am. My job, man, requires me to be intimately aware of all this every day. And I\u2019m thinking people that voted for Trump, by definition, would be motivated. I mean, before they voted for Trump they had to be terribly motivated already, so fed up. How can…? After they vote, they just forget the intensity? We need to explore it further.<\/p>\n

Hey, I just wanted to mention, a while back, not so long ago, you had a caller ask you a question about what do you think would happen if somehow, some way they succeeded in pretty much impeaching Trump or getting to that point. And I think your response was, “I\u2019m not sure exactly what would happen.”<\/p>\n
But I have to tell you what my own impression is and people I speak to, Rush, if they ever get to that point, I\u2019m telling you there will be an outrage in this country like they\u2019ve never seen before. And I\u2019m not talking about riots and things of that nature. But those 67 million people that supported this man, knowing what he\u2019s doing is right and we\u2019ve been waiting for this for years and years, and, Rush, I even think he\u2019s gone beyond what Ronald Reagan was capable of doing, and I\u2019m a Reagan supporter through and through, if they ever get to that point, Rush, I think there will be such a backlash because I think most of us who supported this man know —<\/p>\n

CALLER: ‘Cause I don\u2019t think our people behave that way, Rush.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. What will the backlash be?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think it will be a matter of how we vote and the people we support and when you think about it and people that we have known for all these years and he\u2019s exposed these people for who they are —<\/p>\n
RUSH: I\u2019m yawning. What\u2019s the reaction gonna be?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, I think it will happen in the voting booth, and I think it will be a massacre of incumbents, if that happens. I mean, at least on the Republican side anyway, at least for starters —<\/p>\n
RUSH: So it will take place at the ballot box?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think first. I really do. I think first, because I don\u2019t think it\u2019s the nature of the people who support Trump to go out into the streets and start causing destruction. I don\u2019t think that will happen. I wouldn\u2019t even advocate that. But I am suggesting I think that most people will take this very seriously and will get up off their duff and get more involved than they are now.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. Let me take this into an area that — I must be very, very careful here so that I\u2019m the misunderstand because I am purposely am misunderstand and purposely taken out of context all the time. But that doesn\u2019t frighten me. They can\u2019t intimate me. Do you own a gun or guns?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Several.<\/p>\n
RUSH: What would you do, what would you do if there was a serious move or effort to confiscate yours?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I\u2019d strap it on my body and put it on my family bodies and have them come take it, but I think one of us wouldn\u2019t be standing.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. I\u2019m just telling you, I have read, I don\u2019t know any of these, but I\u2019ve read people who claim that that\u2019s exactly what\u2019s gonna happen if this Mueller thing results in Trump being thrown out and everything he\u2019s done being wiped out and overturned. I\u2019ve read people who say this is it. They\u2019re fed up with it. But that\u2019s not my point. Have you heard of something that is happening called corporate gun control?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I have not.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Good. Let me explain it to you.<\/p>\n

In other words, it is a way for in the private sector to basically impoverish the NRA or any individual who is devoted to the Second Amendment, much like corporations are used to advance this whole BS idea of climate change; so now are the private liberals at banks, liberal CEOs are going to discriminate against anybody and everybody that is from a gun-rights organization or is a gun-rights individual, like if you own a gun and you go to a bank to get a loan for anything, you\u2019ll be denied until you get rid of your gun.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/APP-062118-Rush-Constitution.jpg\")
