He was on the Megyn Kelly show and you know what happened? He goes on Megyn Kelly\u2019s show and he made a direct appeal to viewers to give money to Michael Cohen. Lanny Davis said, &#8220;Could I take one opportunity to remind everyone that Michael Cohen has suffered a tragic and difficult experience with his family. He\u2019s without resources, and we\u2019ve set up a website called MichaelCohentruth.com that we\u2019re hoping that he will get some help from the American people so he can continue to tell the truth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/APP-Lanny-Davis.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-282854\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/APP-Lanny-Davis.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/APP-Lanny-Davis-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>And Megyn Kelly said, &#8220;I don\u2019t know if they\u2019re ready to donate, Lanny,&#8221; and then her audience started laughing, straight up laughing at Lanny Davis. This is an NBC audience. It\u2019s a Megyn Kelly show, yeah, but this is not the Megyn Kelly of Fox News that would automatically attract a conservative crowd. They laughed in his face, as well they should have. MichaelCohenTruth.com, his lawyer is asking money so Lanny Davis can get paid, not so that Michael Cohen can keep telling the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Lanny Davis wants money. Lanny Davis is essentially asking people to donate to Cohen so Cohen can pay Lanny Davis. And he says. no, we need the money so that Michael Cohen can continue to tell the truth. Why does that cost any money? How does it cost a dime for Michael Cohen to tell the truth? Lanny, all you have to do is put the names of every journalist, New York Times, ABC, CBS, NBC, in a hat and pull one out and call \u2019em and they\u2019ll be there in five seconds. You don\u2019t have to pay anybody to get \u2019em to come over and listen to whatever lies Cohen wants to tell \u2019em.<\/p>\n<p>(imitating Davis) &#8220;We need to fund Michael Cohen. He\u2019s lost everything here. We need to be able to fund Michael Cohen so he can continue to tell the truth.&#8221; Gag me with a spoon. Anyway, I was happy to hear the audience laugh their ass off at him. That is an encouraging sign.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Here\u2019s Lanny Davis being laughed at, by the way, on Megyn Kelly today.  This was this morning on her eponymous program.  Lanny Davis talking about Michael Cohen needing money.  <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U5Oewr7gkKc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>DAVIS:  Michael Cohen has suffered a tragic and difficult experience with his family. He\u2019s without resources. And we\u2019ve set up a website called (audience starts laughing) MichaelCohenTruth-dot-com that we\u2019re hoping that he will get some help from the American people so he can (laughter continues) continue to tell the truth.<\/p>\n<p>KELLY:  The &#8211; the audience is &#8211; they don\u2019t appear ready to donate, Lanny.<\/p>\n<p>DAVIS: I would say the reaction of your audience may be that they\u2019re not as interested in getting the truth out about Donald Trump as many other people in the country. Approximately 60% of the country would not have the reaction of your audience.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  I don\u2019t think so, Lanny.  I don\u2019t think so. You\u2019re in that part of the country where your 60% should have been filling out that studio audience.  They were laughing at him.  Laughing at poor Michael Cohen, poor sleazebag, has run out of money, needs some money to pay me.
