RUSH: I mentioned last week — I mentioned it a bunch of times — when the Democrat National Committee server was hacked, they refused to let the FBI see it. They refused to let the FBI forensically examine it for the aforementioned reason. They didn\u2019t want anybody to find out what they had done to screw Bernie Sanders, which Donna Brazile has admitted happened, okay?<\/p>\n

So they farmed out, supposedly, the forensic analysis of their server farms to an outfit called CrowdStrike. And there is a piece today from The Daily Caller, the headline: “CrowdStrike Bragged About Purging Russians from the DNC\u2019s Networks. Now We Know They Were Wrong<\/a> — Russian hackers retained access to the Democratic National Committee\u2019s network until October 2016, despite private security firm CrowdStrike\u2019s claim that it had expelled all intruders months earlier.”<\/p>\n

Now, this is all in Mueller\u2019s indictment on Friday. The indictment reveals that “CrowdStrike was unsuccessful in expelling intruders from the DNC\u2019s networks in June and that a malicious program ‘remained on the DNC network until in or around October 2016.\u2019 The hackers also gained access to DNC computers hosted on a third-party cloud-computing service around September 2016, which enabled them to steal data from the DNC by creating backups, or snapshots, of the DNC\u2019s cloud-based systems.<\/p>\n

“The revelation contradicts claims made by CrowdStrike, DNC officials and Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz that all intruders had been kicked out of the DNC by June 2016.”<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s true. Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz ran the DNC at the time, and everybody was assuring us the Russian hackers have been sent packing, we got \u2019em all out of there, we\u2019ve cleansed our servers. We got rid of all the bad actors, but they didn\u2019t, they were still there, and CrowdStrike admitted it. Again, these are the people, the third-party outfit the Democrats hired to examine their servers rather than have the FBI come in and look at it.<\/p>\n

Now, I mentioned at the beginning of the program — this happened after the program ended on Friday, and we got Mueller\u2019s indictment of these 12 Russians, again, people that will never see the inside of courtrooms, cases that will never be tried. Rosenstein said some amazing things in his press conference that I wasn\u2019t able to put together until after the program ended on Friday<\/a>. And I\u2019ll go through those things before the program ends.<\/p>\n

Essentially, Rosenstein exonerated Trump in his press conference. But you have to know how to read it to draw that aspect of Rosenstein\u2019s comments on it. I will do that for you in mere moments.<\/p>\n

A Washington Post reporter claimed on Friday that the beginning of the Russian effort to hack Hillary Clinton\u2019s campaign emails came on the very same day that Trump asked Russia to find Clinton\u2019s State Department emails. On July 27th of 2016, Trump said, “Russia, if you\u2019re listening, I hope you\u2019re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”<\/p>\n

We have the audio sound bite, it is number 6. I was right, Trump was down in Florida down at Doral which is a golf course, slash, resort that he bought and refurbished, and it was during a Q&A after a press conference that Trump said this.<\/p>\n

TRUMP: I will tell you this. Russia, if you\u2019re listening, I hope you\u2019re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let\u2019s see if that happens.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, the people in the media had no idea that Trump is yanking their chain, \u2019cause they\u2019ve lost all sense of humor. It\u2019s astounding, folks, how tightly wound these people are. There is no sense of humor. They do not recognize mockery. They don\u2019t recognize when they\u2019re being mocked. To set the stage, at this time, everybody was going bonkers over Hillary\u2019s missing emails. Where are they, who\u2019s got them, were they deleted, did she bleach bright \u2019em, whatever, and so Trump decided to have some fun, “Hey, Russia, maybe you can help.” The media is desperate to find these things \u2019cause they wanted to know what to cover up. The media was looking to cover up the fact that Hillary was trafficking in classified detail. These are her State Department emails, remember.<\/p>\n

So Trump makes that comment. And so the Washington Post said — and it was a tweet here by Christopher Ingraham<\/a>. He tweeted a screenshot of a portion of the indictment claiming that Russia\u2019s hacking attempts of Hillary began the very evening Trump made his remarks. Ingraham tweeted, “July 27th, Trump, Russia, if you\u2019re listening, I hope you\u2019re able to find the 30,000 emails. That evening Russian operatives targeted Clinton campaign emails for the first time.”<\/p>\n

Well, it was picked up by everybody, picked up by NBC, F. Chuck Todd, Vox and so forth. And indictment doesn\u2019t say it. You can read the indictment a bunch of times. You have to infer it! They just made it up! The point is they reported it. They reported that Trump asking Russia to hack is when Russia decided to start hacking. Russia had been meddling in whatever for decades before Trump made the joking comment.<\/p>\n

This is journalistic malpractice. It\u2019s irresponsible. Because they report it and a bunch of dunderheads out there are gonna believe it. So then they started saying, “This is collusion, Mueller has found collusion. Trump asked Russia to hack, and then Russia went and hacked, doing Trump a favor.” Well, why wasn\u2019t Trump indicted, and why isn\u2019t Trump being accused in this indictment if all that really happened? But they\u2019re making it up, poisoning the minds of American citizens as best they can, and it\u2019s got to stop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
