RUSH: Elsewhere in the leftist cultural center, it is already beginning to happen. I have here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers a story from the PJ Media: “Lesbian Feminists Clash with Transgenders at London Pride Parade.<\/a>” Now, you might be saying, “Rush, that\u2019s London. What\u2019s feminist clashing with transgenders?” What it is is two radical leftist groups arguing with each other. That\u2019s what it is.<\/p>\n

Feminism and transgenderism are incompatible, if you stop and think about it. Feminism and transgenderism are incompatible, but the left has decided to roll \u2019em all up under the gay rights banner. This had to happen. And let me give you a shining example. There is some transgender movie out there that I guess is filming, and the lead role has gone to Scarlett Johansson. She\u2019s going to play a transgender character.<\/p>\n

Well, the only problem is she isn\u2019t trans. She\u2019s cis, c-i-s. See, we know these terms here. We are on the cutting edge. Cisgender means you\u2019re normal. I\u2019m sorry. Don\u2019t look at it that way. Cisgender you\u2019re born as a guy, and you know you\u2019re a guy, you\u2019re happy to be a guy, and you\u2019re a guy, so you are cisgender. If you\u2019re transgender, you\u2019re born a guy but you don\u2019t like it, you think you\u2019re a girl, you wish you were, so you take steps, get a chopadickoffamy operation or whatever, you become a girl. That\u2019s transgender.<\/p>\n

So they\u2019ve got a cisgender actress portraying a transgender, and the transgender actress lobby, the transgender actor lobby is livid! I saw this on one of my tech blogs. The tech blogs are livid. The long knives are out for Scarlett Johansson. She\u2019s got no business playing a transgender because she isn\u2019t one. I said, “Wait a minute. It\u2019s acting.” I mean, none of these people are who they really are. I mean, somebody playing a farm wife is not really a farm wife. They\u2019re acting.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve heard the old story. I mean, this is eons old. You remember the movie The Boys of Brazil, I think it was. It starred Laurence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman. And Dustin Hoffman, they had a scene where he was gonna be awake for like 72 hours and this evil dentist was gonna be extracting teeth with no Xylocaine. And so Dustin Hoffman stayed up for 48, 72 hours to get ready for it. And Laurence Olivier said, “What are you doing this for? It\u2019s acting. We\u2019re acting here, just act like you\u2019ve been up 78 hours. That\u2019s the talent.” That\u2019s a very old tale told in acting circles.<\/p>\n
