I said, &#8220;There\u2019s no such thing as odd weather. That\u2019s a thing that\u2019s used by people to politicize it. The weather is what it is. It isn\u2019t odd or unusual.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/daily\/2018\/07\/05\/what-caused-the-heat-wave-of-1911\/\">Then I cited the 1911 heat wave. You remember all that<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-278680\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/APP-070618-Tornado.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/APP-070618-Tornado.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/APP-070618-Tornado-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>I got a note from our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drroyspencer.com\/2018\/07\/summer-causes-climate-change-hysteria\/\">official climatologist, Dr. Roy Spencer<\/a>, University of Alabama Huntsville who said, &#8220;You\u2019re right, you\u2019re right, exactly right. There is no weather craziness. Except &#8211;&#8221; and then he gave me a stat. You ready for this? This is only the second time &#8212; this is gonna blow you away. This had not registered to me. This is only the second time in history since we\u2019ve been keeping records with no deaths due to tornadoes in the months of May and June.<\/p>\n<p>Have you seen any big tornado news this year? There hasn\u2019t been any. And it\u2019s unusual. There are always people dying from tornadoes. None. This is only the second time. The last time this happened was in 2005. And overall, there\u2019s been a long-term decrease in strong tornadoes since the 1950\u2019s. We\u2019re currently near a record low for tornado activity so far this year.
